I went in with like, 40 winged lights or something the first time??? So I don't know if that's recommended but that's my personal experience :) I've been playing for I think 3 weeks now so I barely understand it too

People usually recommend about 40-50 winged lights, but you can technically do it with just 20 since that's what it indicates for you to go through the realm portal thingy of it.

you can start by searching for the all wing lights in sky realms in yt , just take as much as you can ( i suggest 50 or 70 wl if you can ) and maybe know how eden work’s first? i suggest by watching noob mode because thats how i learned how eden works , but you dont have to go to eden now because if you go there , it will just give you acsended candles ( its usually for traveling spirits , costs 2 candles )

I thought I got them all (thought there was around 20 at the time)

Only to realize a week later I completely missed areas 2 & 3, and possibly a few in area 1

To be fair I didn't count how many I got, but based on the fact I got around 4 1/4 candles, I think I got around 17 statues

Ofc you didn't know anything about it but if you always do Eden run you'll get more better and used to it , if you're still need a help go to youtube and search a guide ! To see where all of those Statues is , im also like that too on my first Eden run , so do not call yourself negatively for saving the Statues in a small amount , you'll get better some day keep up !

A light prop might be the tiki torch, the cauldron, the bonfire prop, or the tiny stone one, or even the days of feast table ^^ all of them have a flame that you can get light from, unfortunately if your flame goes out tho you will no loger be able to light the prop you are using as you need a flame to be able to activate them :0

As for height, unless you are doing glitches I do not recommend chibi height at all, it's way to easy to get carried away by the wind in my opinion, but the tallest one isn't the best either since you have less room to hide behind pillars and stones

I don’t follow. The max you can get from Eden is around 100, if you go all the way through and get your wing buffs and then go back and collect the 10 from the area before PNR

i think what they mean is you can do eden again and again without going to other realms to collect stars in between (to get all 63 statues if you haven't got them all on the first run), because if u have 20 stars (20 wing buffs) or more you can enter eden.

Yes, every time you go through Eden past the Point of No Return you will lose all your winged light, die, and be reborn. Giving your winged lights to the statues is the only way to get ascended candles, which is the only currency you can use to buy wing buffs from spirits. Every wing buff you buy is like a “permanent” winged light, in that you keep it when you’re reborn, which increases the total number of wedges you can get on your cape energy meter (also represented as stars and diamonds on your cape)

For every winged light you give to a statue, you will get 1/4 ac at the end before going through the door to be reborn. You will always be able to keep those AC, although you do have the opportunity to spend them on wing buffs before you’re reborn by standing on the circular stone in between the area you get your AC and the door and accessing spirits in their constellations.

You could but that's a bad idea since you can only respawn with one extra WL. Get as many as you can before you run out of WL.

If you’re talking about the end part in the red rock rain then after you have no more light, you die. You can travel a little bit of distance very slowly but you can’t actually do anything besides honk and do emotes till your character dies

In the end no. The whole point is to give your light back to the children who couldn’t make it if I’m not mistaken but you do get candles at a certain point. The candles you do get though aren’t the normal white ones, they’re special red candles that allow you to unlock very specific things

It’s kinda hard to explain but basically try to give as much of your light to the statues and the more statues you give light to the more rewards you get after you die (hopefully that makes sense)

So you actually receive the candles after you die, and the number you get is based on how many statues you gave your winged lights to before running out. Most people die early, you really have to get quite a few wing buffs in order to enter the PNR with enough lights to get every single statue, so if you had to get every statue to get your ascended candles, it would be impossible. Eden is stressful at first, but don’t worry, there’s really no way to mess it up! Everyone ultimately dies there.

You have to die to get the AC. You could go in, light 4 statues, and then stand in the red rock rain to lose the rest so you can die and go to orbit where you receive the one AC, but the goal should be to light up as many statues as you can before you run out of winged lights and die. Once you enter the PNR, the only way out is to lose all your AC and die. If you make it to “the end” of the PNR and light up every statue, you still just have to stand there and get pelted with rocks until you lose the rest of your winged lights, at which point you die, go to orbit, and receive your AC never mind I see someone else more or less provided this answer

I gotta say, the confusion everyone (including myself, back when I was a moth) feels about Eden at first highlights what I love about Sky! In most other games, the final stage means defeating some kind of big baddie, and death = failure. But in Sky, death is an inevitable transition point in our cyclical journey! I can’t think of another game, aside from Journey, that treats dying in this way, and I love it both as someone who professionally cares for people at end of life and someone whose spiritual leanings reflect this cyclical view of life and death.

Now? Idk, I can get to the PNR in less than 10 minutes probably and I can get every statue beyond the PNR in maybe 10 or 15 minutes, but I have about 190 winged lights right now. If you power forward you’ll go through 54 WL pretty quick. The cutscenes and flight to orbit and all that probably take at least 10 minutes so it probably takes me about a half an hour to 45 minutes from the time I enter Eden until being reborn, although I haven’t timed it so that’s just an estimate.

I wanted to jump on this a little because this is I think, a fun edition to what you said earlier about liking how Sky treats dying. I'm not a huge "gamer" and the grind and stakes of dying, and constantly having to be top tier upgraded to beat the final bosses or win or whatever is part of that. I talked a bit in cozy about a couple things I love, but I love that sky is non threatening. There's no fall damage. that's HUGE for me, I'm not good at maneuvering in games. If you die in Eden oh well, you just get to find more WL again and it keeps you playing. There's no check point. Sure there are elements of that - hiding from dragons, crabs, having to redo a purple spirit for falls, there's the challenge without the threat. you can always recollect wl but even then it's not NECESSARY. man, I really love this game. it's fun to know that it's okay to restart. :)

Yeah, I agree with all of that! And there’s not a huge grind to level up your character. Pretty much the only stat you can increase is your flaps, and that is ultimately a motivator to keep going back to Eden. The trials are a good example of Sky’s low stakes challenges. They bring me back to platform games like Super Mario, except that you can die over and over until you make it without any real consequences other than frustration .

The 2nd tier wing buffs for base spirits tend to be the most expensive I think. I just bought the buff to unlock access to the tier 2 white cape and I believe it was 10ac

Personally my advice to players still working on the main constellations is to buy as many wing buffs as you can from the main spirits while you’re still in orbit so you’ll have them when you’re reborn, just make sure to save at least 2ac so you can buy the wing buff from the next traveling spirit without returning to Eden. Save more obviously if there are spells you want to buy in the enchantment shop that cost ac

Well ... i've finished my first eden run after starting the game 3 days ago ... and i must say i hated every secound of it, yet i cant wait to enter it again xD
Like i expected a cozy, fun, cute game where you can hold hands, hug your friends and fly around ... instead i got krills, what ever this hell hole called eden is, emotional damage at the end of the game and death xD
And its absolute the best experiance that i had since a while xD (minus eden)
Oh and did i mention that krills are absolute loftcraftian nightmare fuel xD?

I was soooo suprised as i saw all of my friends at the end qwq
And the flying was soo awesome!

yeah it was definitely a shock first time around haha, I think I spent about an hour first time or so heading through the storm, once I got to the 2nd half I literally had no idea what to do so I just went for it trying to get as far as possible without really knowing what to do inside

How many times do you go in per week? Past the point of no return. Because the winged light will always respawn in the same place after rebirth. Plus, other players can't get statues for you even if you actively try to get them to. Statues only 'activate' when you've given them your WL for the week

Wdym by failed? It's always there. You automatically get it after passing white gates in orbit (the starry closet area) There used to be a sound that indicated you got it but that was removed and the skip button was slightly moved to prevent skipping too early before collecting the orbit wl. Now it's basically impossible to skip it. If it's the sound you're looking out for, you won't hear it anymore, but watch your wl count before orbit and after, you'll have an extra one

||your objective in eden is to save as much children as you can using your wl. each one you save will give you a quarter of an ascended candle, and you can use those candles. You can use those ascended candles to purchase potions in the forgotten ark OR purchase wing buffs from the spirits. (those orange locks in their constellations)

Each wing buff that you unlock will give you a wl the next time you finish eden, BUT they also unlock the clouds above the wing buff, giving you more of the constellation to buy.||

The more you jump the more likely you'll get hit, a lot more likely. You can test it for yourself. Jumping in eden used to be common and used to help but they ended up updating eden making it more difficult. Avoid jumping at all

Not sure exactly but it takes it's sweet time when it's on the right side of the screen. The minute it leaves the tunnel entrance open, make a mad dash for each cover. I think it'll go around you if you need to make a slight detour for the WL right before the entrance. Once you get in, the krill should go right by the entrance and ignore you after a second.

You're sent to the pity room, which is just a pitch black room with 1 wl in the middle to collect so you don't end up capeless, and you're returned back to where you were when you lost all your wl (or you're returned home don't remember) completely different to the eden experience

Everytime you lose a wl, it'll go back to a random location where you've collected the wl previously. You lose all of it in eden, so all of it will go back to be recollected after
