Never mind. I looked back at my old vid, and saw the difference was there used to be some faint lighting in the background which gave a glow effect to the star child. Having that totally dark background is probably more accurate; the glowing one had some funny shapes in it.

What managing this flying part in Eden for the first time feels like:

jesus christ did they make eden harder? once i reached the perma blast section of the eye i lost like 20 winged lights in one go and almost didn't manage to hit all rock kids, i used to be able to finish with like 30+ lights to spare but this time i ended with like 2 once i finished

It's been like this for some months now. There was an eden update a few months ago that slightly changed the mechanic. The amount of wl you can lose in the endless rain will now depend on how much wl you have in that moment in time^^ 5-6 per hit with 150+ wl and 1 or 2 when with 50 wl. This can ofc increase when you're standing in the dark water AND getting hit.

You'd want at least 150wl to be safe but I've seen people finish with 130-140wl

Hey so - I just went through Eden for the 3rd time and am finally trying to figure out what is most strategic. Someone mentioned wing buffs are good, so I bought them w all the candles I obtained at the last galaxy spot before you're reborn. Then I saw someone mention thats not good? Is the wing buff something you can only use once?

It's better to buy wing buffs in orbit since you auto get them on rebirth.
I suppose it may be worth at times to hang on to a few ac if you don't go to eden often, like for a ts...

they're not something you use once, the more wing buffs you get the better. travelling spirits also give you wing buffs if you unlock the ascended candle node :)

I got through to the last statue with around 140 (with wing buffs) , it depends on how well you can get through the first two sections so that your wl last long enough to keep going through the end

And if you have recharge potions or a torch of some kind that can help if you get stuck behind a rock with no light source.

Oh no!!!! Help lol. I’ve already done Eden twice this week. There’s no more statues to light. I went to get wings and flew to the back door but still not that experienced doing that. Somehow thru the clouds I ended up in Eden. There was no warning to hit X twice. I was just suddenly in Eden’s first area. I turned off game. Late reply, but if you ever get in same situation again ; when you reach pnr don't give any statue light (if there's any) just tp back home. Do chibi fall on top of Eden realm gate. After you enter the social area (gate) immediately tp back home. It works for me :3

I went in today and got 15.5 ac, then going back through to get the last statue I found it in a totally different spot to where the statue I couldn't interact with was, so I was just wondering? I never saw spectators going through either

When you first enter pnr, if you see the light statues lit, that means someone else has been there in that "lobby/server" so that may be it!

i feel that x_x i had a time where i was guiding a moth through eden, and at the area with the last krill, they somehow got hit by a rock D: i got up to entrance, but jumped right back down without hesitation to rescue them, we made it to the end and this player had their firework staff cheering us on XD then after that rescue, once we got up there, lol the player at me XD

so basically, i went into pnr with 151 winglight, and got all statues in the on/off rock zone and didn't lose any winglight to the rocks, then for the nonstop rocks zone, i got knocked over a lot more than i should have, and when you get to that sand hill bit, i got to where i could not move at all x_x like... as soon as i'd get back up, i'd fall back down again. It was frustrating D:

Not sure? Certain areas in the game will have updates to fix (or patch) something by adjusting/removing assets. Might be handy to learn the full oob shortcut. Plenty of guides on yt and I have a video of all 3 shortcuts if you need^^

generally speaking i zoom out a lot when i'm going through the storm and i wait to go until one of those big rock falls has JUST ended
zooming out and looking down at the scene makes it easier to get a lay of the land, and then waiting to go until the rock falls end means that you've got a bigger window until the next batch of rocks.

where are you trying to enter OOB? assuming that I know what area you're looking for: after you open the door and see the first cutscene with the krill flying out, you should be able to go back and find one of two A shaped crevices in the wall where you can slip through into OOB space

Just an fyi that stances don't appear in Eden, incase it's that! You can change them and it will change it, but it will appear as the 'scared' stance no matter what. So for e.g. you can still chibi fall if you equip sneaky, it just won't be visible^^

The statues are deep inside eden, in the third area of eden. It is past the point of no return, once you've entered you must proceed to the sacrifice. You give your winged lights to those statues and get ascended candles in return.

Update: I went to eden and on the way there, a moff friended me then clinged onto me the whole way, even when we got to pnr, bless their heart they must've been scared

Basically if you purchase wing buffs, all they do is that once you are reborn, you have that amount extra. Say you have 23 wing buffs. Even when you lose all your wl in eden and are capeless, instead of being reborn capeless you’re reborn with 23 wl, and that happens every time you’re reborn

Well, I suggest waiting for the sound cues in the part with all the statues (along with Eden in its entirety), you will hear a loud thunderclap like noise and right after it, the rocks will start falling. Also I suggest learning how to do the oob in the second part (with all the krill) if you can! Someday I can teach you how if you want?-

Blech, I despise being denied 1 or 2 of the shrines despite being experienced with the game. I hit over 150 wl and I still miss out on some for no real reason. It's extremely frustrating

Aight, I’m not the biggest expert with eden either, so I’m just going on knowledge I remember.

1. Go as a chibi, you move a tiny bit faster, and your hitbox is shorter, I think, so you’ll get hit less.
2. There’s a tiny shortcut to skip to the pipe, you basically go to the left instead of the right and fly up
3. Bring at least a friend or two. They help you regain light.
4. You can fly through both of section 1 and 2, though it’s very difficult to do, from my perspective
5. Final part of section 2 before section 3, when the krill goes to the left, that is when you can bolt and pray for the best

Those are some of the things I’ve got, some are quite obvious though, good luck!

i've had better results waiting for the third krill to go to the right, seems it stays on the right for longer than it does left, and if you aren't jumping, just walking, you can usually get the winglight and get into the hall. even if the krill spots you, if you keep walking to the hall you should be able to get in without getting krilled

even when the rocks come right after the krill goes right, i've generally been fine. it's actually better timing, because the rocks then won't hit you on your way up.

Im doing the little prince quest stuff rn and i have to go to eden. I saw a vid of someone go through and not have to restart their wings but it was during season. Will i have to restart again for this? I dont want to :/

Yes, if you're doing it for the Little Prince quest, you have to go through Eden like normal and get reborn after being assigned that quest by the rose. Since the quests will be around for you to complete whenever you want to, you can wait until you need to go again to get AC or something if you would prefer

there was a shortcut in the second wall after you finished the first stage of eden where you could slip through a crack, fly against the clouds and go to eye of eden without having to face krills or rocks

No but you can only get 15.75 of AC max per week, max of 63 statues per week. You can go as many times as you want but there wouldn't be a point after you've reached the limit, or almost did. It's up to you really

Hmm well I think others can give you better advice on this topic but Eden resets every sunday... so if you do it again before the next sunday there's a possibility you won't get any more ac if you already got all the statues, however if you do it twice and light the statues you missed the previous time, you can still get ac

That was removed a while ago now, when eden was last updated a few months ago. The ones you save won't appear on the next run.:) If you're talking about during the run then yes, once you give your wl, the statue will turn blue. But on the next run it will disappear

I did eden with friend, and we almost finished, then a player entered area. So we hv to follow her. She seems to be new player, and taking her time.
When "proceed alone" question come, we agreed not to click because we dont want to split.
The moth go to wrong direction, i used emote to make a big X appear. And my friend suddenly became furious. She said this emote is forbidden in eye of eden because it is too scary and i'm scaring the moth.
I was just trying to be helpful because the moth went backwards.

Naw I think you did what I would've done. I spam a lot of emotes to try to speak to a moth in eden and it works 50% of the time. You were trying to help dw. Eden might be 'scary' but it's not a horror game, and that emote isn't 'forbidden' in eden If the person feels uneasy, they'll close the game, that's it. Nothing is forbidden in sky, other than the obvious things that go against against terms of service and rules. Respectfully, your friends sounds.... interesting

we go into pnr, and i guide them through, we all stayed together as a team, not leaving anyone behind

we get to the chaos zone and i go out there and stayed with them the whole time, lost one moff by one and saluted them when they died

the clingy one was last to be alive ;-; but we did it!

then i arrived to the start to go to orbit, and waited for them, one at a time showed up, and we cheered eachother on

we headed to orbit and one of them flew on ahead

the other 2 and i held hands and i sang along to the song ;-;

That reminds me of my first time to eden,
I was a small mof, but luckily, I ran into a veteran (they had the crab sun hat and crap whisperer cape) they were so kind, but me being a little moth, got krilled mulitple times. They took me they the normal way ofc.
Near the tunnel with all the wl, I had gotten krilled, and stuck in the rocks just behind me. But I was lucky the veteran was so nice cuz they came back down to grab my hand and pull me back up. Once we were safe in the tunnel they pulled out a table and I thanked them.
After that I continued on, and yknow- died. And then I proceeded to cry half the day cuz I wasn’t aware that u were supposed to die in the end and I was like ‘hhhhhh I lost all my lighhhhtttt ;-;’
But I’m fine now :>
