Honestly playing through eden sold the game for me, it's a really interesting gameplay loop and I love it as a concept and in execution

2. whatever is your max amount imo (if you mean getting all statues with current eden you need around 150 and up)

I do love orbit, unfortunately anxiety gets in the way of me enjoying Eden at all. And while I intend to go with my girlfriend, we've been getting suddenly separated into different instances while actively holding hands 5+ times per day, and I have a feeling that'd happen just as readily in Eden as well.

You use ascended candles to buy this from spirits, which we call a wingbuff. When you get reborn again, you get 1 winged light for every wingbuffs you've unlocked so you don't start over with only 1 winged light.
Friendship tree also has this but it doesn't give you winged light, so unless you have any leftover unused ascended candles it's best to only use them on spirits.

Not sure if anyone's replied to this yet, but from what I know, you can't get server-split (separated) in any part of Eden, if it happens, the other player likely just disconnected.

That's worth knowing, thanks. It's been pretty damn frustrating having my girlfriend disappear while holding hands mid-flight repeatedly. At least knowing it shouldn't happen in Eden may help alleviate some headaches.

Tl;dr
Wind before the pnr cave was made way stronger, making jump not a good option (you need to "slide" around the low stairs to get up)
Once your light goes off (normally in the endless rain) you cant run or jump

And if you are unlucky you can get stuck in those red crystals, wich you need to escape asap (either return to home or close the game)

Instant recharge potions will work technically, but it's kind of a waste in the endless rain area unless you just use them one after the other. Because as soon as you get hit by a rock you will just lose all your light again

I would recommend not trying to do that and just focus on walking to each statue as well as you can, especially with the slow walk bug making it harder to begin with right now, you would just be wasting time trying to use the spells

The changes to Eden were made intentionally, but they had a greater effect than what TGC intended, so they are making adjustments for a future update

It depends entirely on how many AC you want to get. If you want to max out on how much you can get every week, then you can do as many runs as you need or want to get all of the statues. If you just want to do one run per week and get however many AC you get, it may take a bit longer, but that's fine too

Has viewing the krill cutscene at the beginning of the Eye level become mandatory even when doing rocket? That is a big issue for me. repeated screen flashing that can cause seizures starts when that cutscene happens. I used to be able to skip it and have the flashing not start when doing rocket, but now it is doing it when I'm up in the air.

Okay let me say this, if someone gives you the option to do Eden by yourself, do not take it. Do it with someone else that is way more experienced. I went from getting 12 plus candles from doing it with someone with experience, to eight candles again. I know you can go back but it's kind of discouraging when you have to go through the rain again

If you need AC, I would recommend going. None of the issues should prevent you from getting the candles, you just may not get as many as you're used to because it's a bit more difficult to get through right now. But you can still get some if you are totally out and need it

Mostly it just makes you move more slowly in the part with the endless rock rain in the statue area. If you need AC for the upcoming TS or something, you should go now because they probably won't make the wing buff free. They only did that before when the bug was actually preventing players from getting AC at all. We have no idea when the next update will be, so you could be waiting for a while

If you look up oob tutorials for Eden on YouTube, you can find some that helps basically you fly kind of against the wind, then use it at your advantage you get high up and fly down to where the wl is

It takes some practice but you'll get it eventually

Essentially, it’s all about rebirth and giving back light to those who have fallen. BUT, you can gather wing buffs in Eden and then end up with a stronger cape so you can survive Eden longer at the end. And yeah, you do lose all your winged light in Eden, and then you do need to go around and collect it all again, but that’s the beauty of the game… kinda lol *also, ascended candles help you complete constellations which then help you earn the ultimate gifts

If you go near one of the red crystals (at least on switch) it immediately depletes you and stunlocks you

They are wing buffs that get added to your cape in Orbit just before you're reborn. They're semi-permanent, meaning that they can be lost if you get krilled or something before collecting other winged lights in the realm, but once you've purchased them you'll always get them back every time you complete Eden.

They're meant to help get you started with some winged lights in your cape when you're reborn so you have some to help you get around the realms while you collect the other winged lights or do whatever you want to do.

This was an experience. Someone followed me through the storm and we took turns rekindling each other, then we made it to a big area full of fallen players, and we both ran through it, sacrificing our light.

My friend ran on ahead and lit a torch right before they lost all their light and turned into a blue floaty thing

I tried to revive them but I couldn't get close. Eventually had to give up and go forward. I felt horrible. Worst moment of my life.

Then I got hit with red rocks and all my light was spent trying to make it to my friend, so I turned to stone. Was crying.

Then we were both in a sea of stars. It was incredible. Like, a religious experience. I don't know who that friend is, and may never see them again, but at that moment, I felt closer to them than I have anyone else in my life.

The statues you have already saved won't be back before Eden resets at Sunday. You can get about 15 ascended candles in a week so if this was your fist time this week, then you could still go and get 4 more candels
