Hello! I just finished Eden for the first time today with someone experienced. Before leaving, with the ac earned, I bought the wings with lock (are those called wing buffs?) with the ac. I was wondering what they're supposed to do, thanks!

The wing locks from spirits give what's called a wing buff. You get those wing buffs each rebirth along the path to the rebirth door. I.E. You have 18 wing buffs means you will start your new life with 18 winged light, making you able to get 10 wing flaps with the 102 realm winged lights.

Is Eden actually bugged right now to be too windy? It’s definitely too hard at some points just due to the crazy amount of wind. I’ve been hearing it’s a bug but haven’t seen any official posts on it being a bug.

Sorry this is getting to you so late. The change to Eden was intentional, but as it currently stands, the winds are too powerful for most players to make much headway. It sounds like TGC is taking steps to nerf it a little, but I wouldn’t expect the wind strength to go back to what it used to be. Just enough to make it doable, I’d imagine

After a while, it should ask you if you want to go on alone. Alternatively, you should be able to close the game, wait a minute or so, and then return shrine back into a different instance. But I would recommend to just wait a bit

It doesn't hinder your progress, you still get AC and the point of Eden is dying so losing all your winged light is an intended part of the game. It's the Game's Cycle of collecting winged lights and depositing them to the fallen in the storm. If you don't like that gameplay, I am sure Animal Crossing has some gameplay you could enjoy.

Getting Krilled at the mouth of that tunnel has become the best case scenario for that area. Sure beats getting Krilled lower down or pelted with rocks and blown down the hill by the wind.

Is anyone else experiencing like a bug in Eden? Like at the end, where the Sky kid scene cuts out to black? Mine literally went through the ground and the cut scene never faded out. My little blue spirit is just floating around in this orangey landscape
