The ones in wasteland, they just attack you but doesn't damage your wings or anything. The ones in eden though, they hit you and reduce your wl a bit (like the bars would be half full or something) but it won't take any actual physical wing light at all

before the 0.14.0 update, you ran normally in the constant rock rain. If you had 50 or so remaining stars before you entered the constant rock rain, it was pretty much a guarantee you would get all statues. Some of us would have over 50 stars by the end and we would go to the wind wall before the red crystal while we slowly waited for the rock rain to take all of our stars.

In the beta, yes, but was a long time ago and a lot has changed since.
In the beta, eden looked much different and the end was a structure you had to reach or lose everything you collected up to that point. Once you made it, you go straight to orbit and get to be reborn.
Have a look at Tara's Sky Journey if you want to see how the game looked during that time.

You cannot hop anymore. You also go slower. We assume this is a bug due to no communication about Eden changes in the patch notes. It would be prudent to report it as a bug.

You get the chance to meet the elders and get their hair.
Back in those days, you used to lose emotes because winged light was not yet implimented.
When you reached orbit, you would have purchased shields to protect you emotes the next time you go to eden.
Since getting emotes back takes time to regain the progress the skykids lost, the devs added winged light.

There are 10 Winged light in eden before th point of no return.
Any wing buffs you purchased from spirits will be given to youbin orbit.
Any kther free winged light there could be, would be the jne you get when you are reborn.

You get your wkng buffs, which are extra winged light.
The more winged light you have, the more hits you can take.
Even if sky does not have a traditional health bar, the amount of winged light determines how high you can fly and how many hits you can take.

I think that's the buff you get when going through the white door. Regardless of whether you buy any wing buffs or not you will still get that 1 buff on rebirth.

You can hear a winged light being accept as you pass through the door to be reborn.
One you first, play through, if I recall correctly, you instead get sent to home's dark room with the winged light.
You accept it there and from then on you wont have to do it again.

Guys! You can 100% avoid the staircase! I literally just flew past it to the left and avoided it altogether. But, you do need at least 5-6 wedges to do it successfully and make sure to time your landing bc there is a krill there

I've found that I've always been much better at learning that classmates in that sense.. I had to get a long extension on my undergrad thesis but I graduated with first class honours and a lot of that time was because I had to take over a lot of the group project work because I made the mistake of insisting on what I thought was the most intuitive design (turns out mathiness outweighs the number of arbitrary odds and ends you have to deal with for most folk)

Take an averaging function (not technically averaging but sorta), give it like a billion parameters, and adjust the weights of those parameters using a trial-and-error training scheme based of how good the approximation is, bam, state of the art AI

Different muscles are affected to different degrees, and complications aside, my affectation is mild enough that I largely only really need help with annoying things like stiff jars or chip packets; but it does cause more pain the older I get, and pain makes it worse lol. @burnt dome ; but like I said, one day I will create AI-powered robots that can be used by folk like me to do really handsy things like build robots with precision 😂

So many folk spend their whole life in pain; My disability is not even remotely close to the worst of it, and your work will surely be just as influential on that score @burnt dome; I basically only hurt if I either overexert in a game, or else neglect exercise (even just walking around the neighbourhood straightens out my hip, which gets crampy from doing strange things when I panic in games).

Yeah it's a bug currently affecting everyone. Only thing you can do is either oob or aim for low steps that you can walk over without jumping, and avoid jumping^^

Yeah, it's kind of bugged in that part normally right now too, walking there is very slow. Maybe try to keep walking towards the light and see if it eventually does anything? It may take you a while to get there because of the slowness, but I'm not sure what else to try if restarting hasn't helped

I'm not sure if this is a bug or not, but if you're planning on doing Eden with less than 90 WL, DONT DO IT
everytime you get hit by a rock, losing WL or not, your character refuses to jump and is in a slowmode transition for about 3 seconds, which means eden is now impossible to finish 1 shot. I usually always get 16 AC, but due to this, I only got 12, and that was when I had as much WL as I could collect

The most we can say about it in non-beta channels is that the slow speed was intended and is currently being tuned in beta. Anything about the speed changes would be beta only. (Faster, slower, jumping, etc)

The change was most likely supposed to be a slight speed reduction, not the slog we got. It was meant to balance out the new WL players can get to the "difficulty" of getting all statues. Just less than a year ago, the max WL you could acquire without wing buffs was 77. Now we're over 100. They probably wanted to adjust those extra 25-30 WL into the equation.

Yes. Realm winged lights get lost first, though. You only dip into your wing buffs if you are out of realm WL.

I managed to run Eden by myself for the first time and got caught at the stairs prior to PNR. I thought I was doing something wrong, but it looks like the controls on mobile vs Switch make that part much easier 
BUT I DID IT. And managed to get the rest of the statues. The eye of the storm sounded like a heartbeat. It freaked me out so much

Pnr stands for Point of No Return, the area after the 9 wl tunnel.
Max AC(ascended candles) you can get per week is 15.75, so you got half^^ If this is your first or 2nd run, that's pretty good for the first run. Especially because of the current eden bug in which you can't jump or run, preventing you from going further into rain if you're low on wl

You can only get 15.75 per week, any statues you save in that week will disappear until reset. You can go multiple times a day tho, it doesn't restrict you once you have the minimum (20 wl) so you're free to go again if you got half. But I'd recommend against it if you've only missed a few. One statue = 0.25 of the ac

as pretty much the rest of sky, depends on how social you are
your friends can send you heart fragments (60 = 1 heart) or send you a heart for 3 candles
meditation notes (normally seen in daily quest) give you 1 heart for reaching 10 likes
each past season qg you can buy around 5 hearts (sanctuary, ark, prophecy, dreams)

Yeah depends on how social you are. But you don't really need to be talkative or that much of an extrovert. 2 best ways imo to get people for exchanging light with are 1. Look for active people in #looking-for-group-live and say you want to exchange light daily and/or 2. Uber. Learning a realm or two should be enough^^ I used to uber a lot, and I'm not sure how many people I have but I get 2 hearts daily, and occasionally 3. More on 'gift a friend' quest days because you get random people sending hearts🧍 I try to send back but I don't usually because that'd be spending all my 20+ candles that I farmed for that day 😭

I was thinking I'll offer to set up an exchange on a one-at-a-time basis with folk that have ubered me a couple of times because if they've put that much time it's not really worth it for them to ghost me; I'll see how many times I get burned doing that, but I doubt it'll be many

I also have everyone unfavoured and only few of my friends are favoured so I can find them easier, usually the people I talk to occasionally. Make it a habit to unfavour people you add by qr and you're good to go.
Lighting is a bit of a hassle, but I'm sort of use to it and can do it in a minute from muscle memory 🏃
