i recently went to eden on my own for the first time (i went plenty of times before but was always dragged hehe )! i'm proud of myself lol, i took like 15 min to pnr and just lost 2 wl on the way there after pnr i felt safe and experienced again haha, and the rest went as usual. but yeah, i'm glad i finally conquered my fear of mastering eden on my own!

Something odd happened in Eden the other day. Another player and I struggled through the whole thing together, holding hands off and on. She died first and her blue light was circling me. Then suddenly a ‘hold hands’ icon appeared floating in air, unconnected to anything. I took it and was dragged around by an invisible dead skykid! It was so creepy I let go and finished by myself. 👀. Has that ever happened to anyone else?

chibis tend to have smaller hit boxes, but they get blown by wind easier
taller has bigger hit box, but they can run/jump against wind easier

In Eden, whats the purpose of the last trial, lighting the statues with the red rocks hitting you, what does it do and does the amount of statues you light correlate with the amount of eden candles you obtain when you rebirth?

yep you got it, each statue is worth .25 of a candle and you can get a maximum of 15.75 per week. The things you spend the candles on, wingbuffs, are additional winged light that you receive every time you die in eden

Ive been in eden 2 times this past week and gotten maybe 4 eden candles overall, ive spent it on the spirit, does that mean my wings will be different, if so, in what way? @thorn rapids Thank you

if you buy enough wingbuffs as they’re called, you can achieve a higher flight level. I think the maximum amount of wing flaps you get with no wingbuffs is 7, but with wingbuffs you can go up to 11

Idk... I’m slightly taller@than normal, but every time I’m at the last part, I can’t move. I get hit, get knocked down, but as soon as I get up, I immediately get knocked down even before moving. Sometimes I just get stuck there getting repeatedly slammed down losing like 30 WL and not able to move in any direction. I watched video of people getting hit, get up, and then keep running and I’m like, how do they do that?? I wondered if I’m too tall (only smidgen taller than average, if there is such a thing as average) or somehow technique of how I try to get up is bad? :

Huh. I didn’t know you can get up by just going forward. I get frustrated, panicked, and start flicking to just get up because my sky kid is stuck while yelling, “dammit! Moooooooove already!!!!!” I’ll try resisting my panic flick next time..

It has the basics described in it about wing buffs, so I will also write about Ascended Candles as you read that

Basically you get AC (Ascended Candles) by going through Eden and getting reborn. While in the last area of Eden called Storm Lock - the one with the raining red rocks that really dislike skykids - you have a bunch of those skykid statues that you can give your Winged Light to. This is the key behind getting AC, you are supposed to "save" as many of these little skykids as you can. Every statue you manage to give your winged light to before you inevitably run out of them will give you 0.25 AC - aka 4 statues means 1 candle. There is a total of 63 statues in the map (a lovely map in the pins of this channel) meaning you can get a maximum of 15.75 candles in a single Eden run. You get these candles at the end, when you reach Orbit, that lovely place with stars right before you go back Home.

And yeah, another thing - statues work in a similar way to collecting wax in realms. The statues you already saved will not be there if you come back before Eden resets. The difference between wax and statues is that Eden doesn't reset every day, but instead once a week, every Sunday at 00:00am PST (aka Sunday reset). You can see when the next Eden reset is on this server by typing !er, as demonstrated below:

but i think eden is mainly about timing; cause of the rocks and krills-
you just gotta know when to go and when to stop (for the rocks) and for the krills you gotta memorize its movements and when to go, as well as knowing all the places to hide under.

It's a bit weird, but mine is the battlefield area where we have to run around and save all the statues because it's easier than the first two parts, and you know you have to die. It's my favorite because it still has action but at the same time it's almost calming

if you feel confident enough, you could try learning the oob way to run up until pnr. it takes some practice to really nail it, but it's helpful for taking a larger group thru quickly with minimal risk

thats pretty weird that you cant see your friend. the only thing i can think of is to time your hug by chatting with each other (by saying "im going to hug now" or something along those lines), and you should end up in the same server once you reach orbit? it works for me when i do it with my friends, so if you cant join them then youll probably have to leave a #report-a-live-bug

The home trick does technically work in eden becuase you won't lose wl, but you'll have all your light drained when the krill touches you. And people don't use home trick in eden because with it draining all your light you'll also usually get launched into something that will make you lose wl. Its just safer to not use it

Yes, losing all of the winged light you found is the price you pay for ascended candles, the ones you get from giving your light to the statues. However, the more memory spirits you "ascend" with those candles, the more stuff you'll be able to unlock and the more wings you'll be able to get!

If you don't care for any of that, then just don't go to Eden anymore. Plain and simple. The game has plenty of other enjoyable things to do, kind and fun people to meet, and places to explore that aren't really affected by all that. It's up to you to choose how you want to play!

Open wing mode, flying normal, then pull down into a dive and aim for the structure. Since you can't see your player it's hard to aim, and more a matter of luck than technique I think

If you bonk your head into something above you it stops you ascending and with luck you can land. Can't even hop from one platform to another without getting pulled away again tho. So walk carefully if you land!

Oh, before you can buy some certain cosmetics, you have to purchase a wing buff for the spirit. That's what I meant

For example if you wanted this hairstyle, you'd have to spend the 2 AC on the buff first
