Just had the weirdest bug happen to me, I teleported to a friend and it took me to the reincarnation cutscene and had me fly all the way to the light

I didn't get any ascended candles but I also didn't lose the winged light I had before so shrug

Cuz when i was small i felt like i was flying farther and being lifted up easier. Im max height now and it just seems super different

People have confirmed you have a bigger/smaller "hit box" against rocks, also the steps you take are longer/shorter depending on your size, which affects how much the wind could lift you before you fall and reach ground.

I'd recommend going as patiently as you can, don't fear losing any of your precious wls, try lighting every lantern you see nearby and stay near this light to recharge yourself, use rock corners and lil rock roofs to hide from the krills, try walking/running as farther as possible between rock rains, and try saving as many statues as you can! But most important, just enjoy the experience, don't worry if it makes you emotional!

This last Sunday my girlfriend was dragging me through eye of eden, we were in the last area with the statues, and had been deep calling for other to help maximize our candle yield. We noticed halfway through that our WL counter was stuck, and even though the lost WL and breaking Star animation and sounds were still playing, the number stayed the same- mine at 62 and hers at 49 or something. We assumed it was just lag, so we kept going. We completed every statue, at which point we had been checking regularly how many WL we still had. They were still stuck at 62 and 49. We had to completely close the app and use the return shrine to resume our eden run because we literally could not die, and therefore could not complete eden.
We tried the closing-the-app thing, which worked.
I'm guessing this is a pretty rare bug.

But yeah, that's the story of my girlfriend and I becoming immortal in Eden by accident.

OH and I should mention that when we resumed Eden, it sent us back to the point where the WL counter broke

There are no rocks, but even if there were you can’t die since you’re already dead

Restarting the app fixes it but you won’t be on the same server as your friend anymore :(

At the end of Eden, in Orbit (the area before you walk through the portal to be reborn), you have the option to unlock wing buffs from the constellation spirits. Those cost ascended candles . If you unlock them, they'll be added to your basic wing count when you're reborn

You'll still be able to collect winged light in the levels, but wing buffs + winged light = eventually you'll be able to get 8, 9, or 10 bars on your cape
