Friend codes are one time use only, so if 1 friend uses a code then it expires.

The wing buffs from performance and later don’t show up in orbit, you get them during rebirth together with the orbit wing

If you ascended one ts from performance, shattering or Aurora then you get that wing buff together with the orbit wing, so +2 wings during rebirth. And you’ll get these wing buffs (and the orbit wing) every time you’re reborn

i personally count someone as a vet when they have done a handful of big things like get all the elder masks, have more than 200+ wls, have some serious unique skills, things that take time and continuous dedication. But then again, it's my metric.

Yay, I finally kept track of the statues I lit, only 3 missed over the dune, I am not keeping enough light to light the last lamp. That may help in the future

So I was going to PNR then I saw 2 people in the hallway, cowering near a statue near the end of the tunnel towards the final area. I lit their candles, one of them is a moth, the other is a veteran.

The veteran delivers the moth there, but try to communicate that they cannot/don't want to go through to the end. And I happen to pass by. I walk slowly to the end of the tunnel, looking back at them, trying to communicate with emotes and all. And they too do that. The veteran seems to ask for the moth to go alone. But because I was there, the veteran pleaded for me to help the moth. (the pls emote). I nodded.

So I walked slowly to the end of the tunnel while the veteran just waved goodbye. I make sure the moth follows me. I make it my mission to help this moth as much as I can in there.

And at the start of the level they friended me and hold my hand. So I carefully traverse, all the way to the very end of PNR. At the last barrier (before endless rock rain) I try to tell them that there is no surviving. Too bad no emotes can convey much of that. So I went ahead first, into the storm. And even after reaching the last statue, I have enough wl to run back to them with around 15 wl left. I can tell they're scared. So to encourage them I stood in the rock rain until I died and followed them as a blue light.

We both died and then we reached the final flight sequence. We meet at the start of the castle and fly all the way to orbit. However, we got separated during the trip to orbit. But we meet again at home. I bring them to a short wl run on Isle before we part ways (they're doing trials and I don't wanna do that).

It is the only way to collect Wing Buffs that you have purchased from spirits, also you collect Ascended candles from the statues that you help, AC are hard to get and Eden is the most productive way to get them

The praying Animation makes it hard to run and steer consistently

If you still manage to complete a run, you should not be affected. Same for season candles, event candles and hearts

Just make sure you are getting as much statues as you can each week and buy cheapest wing buffs from spirits first. The more you are in eden, the better you will become in it and the more consistently you will be able to get maximum out of it each week.

So I have finally collected enough AC to buy the prairie mask, but I also want the AC for other items. In your minds are the masks worth it? Is there any difference between them other than price and appearance. How much damage can they take?

There's no difference between elder masks except prices. They can save you from 1 krill attack and 2-3 red shards pretty much.

It does help a lot though. I have been doing round trips in pnr with only 160wl and an elder mask. Saves the trouble of collecting wing light.

I have been completing Eden with ~160 WL, without a problem, but if this helps get the last few statues then I may get it. I get to PNR without losing light, so everything is lost after PNR, but the mask won't help there much will it?

If it doesn't activate invulnerability time when you get hit, then it is useless in zone3

You can collect all statues even without any mask with 160wl. The more you play, the more you'll understand. And by the time you have enough AC for masks, you'll most likely have enough skills to get through Eden even without them.

So, consider it more as a reward after these runs. It just makes you fearless.

I love my isles elder mask. I only use it for Eden. I am not knocked down and mine usually lasts to start of 3 then poof. I have ~126 WL at 3 depending on how many WL I was able to get from shards. Love it. Excellent investment.

WOW this is exactly the same for me, I only have an isle elder mask and it lasts till the last light shrine (entrance of zone3), plus i make it my goal to keep 125 wl minimum when i am entering in zone3 cause it helps in my round trip.

Depends on your practice in Eden. I usually go in with around 120 and elder mask and get all statues with that, but usually I hear people going with 150-180 to get all. Maybe you can try around a bit, and go in with more wings until you manage to get all statues

They‘ll give you an additional shield. You can take one Krill hit, 2-3 rock hits, or several crab hits without losing wings/getting extinguished. Then the mask breaks and you‘ll get damage again (and have to visit the temple/orbit to repair the mask). It does not work for constant damage like dark water/rain

Mainly because of both cutscene autoskip and nuts-shortcuts.

Storm Lock still takes most of the time because one needs to be really on a lookout in order to not miss statues, which involves backtracking.

You shouldn’t worry about your time in Eden, it‘s not about being fast but about getting all the statues. If you just try to be fast you‘ll be running right in the rock rain
You‘ll automatically get faster with the time, if you feel like you’re very slow currently

For me is about 10 minutes to fly the cloud to pnr hallway then 40 minutes for pnr. I get to the hallway on sat then to home to tp to pnr on sun. Starts fresh for the day. Orbit what everyone else said.

I have been going every week since July sometime. I was like you taking an hour sometimes more just for Eden but the map helps to keep me focused. You will do great!

Give it time and don’t worry about duration. Focus on quality.

I usually go there with a friend that lives 7 timezones forward. Meeting up with them for Eden is the longest part of it

I've been going through the clouds left of the second zone for a while as I never managed to find the right place to enter the pnr check from the right. Usually I'd fly to the end of the map, land below the red shiny area and walk over to the ledge to carefully drop down and sneak in.

By now I can confidently fly the route on the right side (jump through the crack, keep left and then hug the clouds and hit the right spot on the right side to directly sneak in using the "decline popup twice" thingy.

What I never managed to learn was flying in the first zone and landing on the ledge right before the entrance or flying in the second zone to land in the middle right next to the wl and the patrolling krill.

I’ve tried repeatedly but still haven’t been able to fly through the first section, but I’m able to fly through the krill section fairly easily (except for the times Sky just refuses to acknowledge that I’m tapping or holding the button to flap my wings!) I still really want to learn how to fly through the first area

I can get to PNR by walking through the first part and flying through the second part in 8-15 min. Going through the PNR statues (excluding dark room and Orbit) takes me like 1.5 hours 😭, which is better than the 2+ hours it took me at first, I guess? I started playing two months ago and have been going weekly, so probably like 8x so far. I really want to get wayyyy faster at the statues…

I’m following the route map, being extremely careful about when I run with the rock rain, etc. I’m usually able to get all the statues, or all but the very last one cuz I just can’t see where it is (after I light 61 and 62) with all the rock rain coming down. I’m at 154 wings, hit 11 wedges ~2 weeks ago

Not sure exactly but I think the actual time for the whole statue run is around 20 - 25min or something...?
But time perception is very subjective during an Eden run.

I'm starting with roughly 185 wl +/- what the shards gave and end at the last light source with 49/63 statues and around 135 wl left and an intact elder mask. I know the route mostly by memory now but I still have my old and tattered printout with me for every run if I get distracted or something.

I have repeatedly tried to fly in the first area up to the ledge and the first WL. It was and still is a hit and miss.

It seems to me it is about timing and direction. If I face a certain way - about 10 o’clock and wait for the right rock time I can flap 4 or 5 times then open wings and head to the “arches” / structure to the left of the building. Then wind drift will take me to the ledge.

Last time I tried was at least month and half ago. Haven’t got it down for sure. I made a friend who taught me that - Al ign.

I have enough WL that I could simply do Eden, rebirth and try until I get it right, then do another quick orbit rebirth and start my regular CR/WL routine

If you manage to get to the last lantern without getting hit, have an elder mask and are very lucky in the last part, it could be possible… but that sounds very hard. Should be well possible at 50-60+ wings I think, depending on practice/experience. Also you can still collect the 10 wl on the way to pnr

I can often get to the last lantern without being hit (although not always, when I’m trying to get statues 34-48 or whatever in the second zone, I sometimes get hit and lose wings once or twice). I definitely don’t have an elder mask yet

It’s only the very last statue I have trouble with, I can reliably get the other 62. I usually can’t see it through the shattering rain 😝 I occasionally find it, after wandering too long

I was able to get last 3, that i missed earlier behind a hill, by going in with about 37 or so. I think i was at about 30 when i got to the last fire source. So... should be possible.

You could also try to skip the first part and only give wings to the statues in zone 2-3, and then you can rebirth, enter Eden again, recollect the 10 wings on the way to pnr, and easily get the statues in first zone with 50 wings

if you can, zoom out as far as possible. If you play on console, it should be clearly visible. On mobile it is harder to spot but zooming out to the max helps as your view is less obstructed by the rock rain explosions

small advice: you move slower in the water so following the visible ground can help
and dont worry! eden is meant to be hard in the early game, getting almost all of zone 1 on the first run is really good

If you go left of the second to last lantern, wait until the rock rain goes back/down and follow it, and then hide behind the rock to the left of the last lantern for a moment before you continue to the last lantern. Always keep jumping to be fast
At least that’s how I do it, if it doesn’t work out for you just keep trying different timings until you find one that works

Yes, you might have crossed the line. You gotta be very careful during this part. If you cross the line and couldn't light the last lantern, it's best to move forward in the last zone.

Cause during this constant rock rain, it's almost impossible to go back and try to light it.

the red dotted lines on this map indicate the lines between zones, once you yourself cross the line into zone 3, the continuous rock rain follows you everywhere. afaik it only happens when you cross the line yourself, not someone else

The continuous rock rain starts when you cross the last lantern. And it doesn't matter if someone else has crossed it before you— their crossing doesn’t trigger it. It only activates for you when you cross.

For better visuals, Skye above has marked the map. Zone 3 (last area before diamond) is the constant rock rain.

you could probably look up guides on youtube if you want another reference, the map i sent is the only one im personally aware of. getting into a route for eden takes practice, if you don't like the path indicated on the map, try to get a feel for where the statues are over a couple runs and then work out a path you're comfortable with. like i said, practice makes perfect, dont worry about doing it perfectly while you're new to the game

i also tend to stock up on instant recharge potions and quick cape recharge spells before an eden run. i use the quick cape recharge as soon as i enter pnr so the torches fill me up a bit faster, and i use instant recharge potions when i'm extinguished and need to light the torch at the next checkpoint

hello 🙂 because i'm reading these conversations, i think u can help me to better understand.. i've been playing for 10 days more or less. i've explored the different reigns till, with another player (i was only lev 25 ), he helped me at first, but than we've entered what i saw in the video, the portal in the middle, where the banner says "if u enter here, u can lose all your life"... i didn't know it could happened n because i wasn't traveling solo, i've said "whatever..." obviously i've died and the game started over. 🤣 now. i'm back on lev 25, i've run all the different portals and yesterday i've found myself again in the "dark desert " first, and the same "portal where u can die". plus the mumin n little prince quest... that i've done partially. because of all these... how do i cross the desert and the "windy mountain " without die? should i first level up by doing the different portals multiple times?

Yeah i would say go around colecting winged light. It's better to go there with about 60-70 otherwise you die too fast and won't be able to make much progress in last part and get much ascended candles to buy wing buffs.

if i'm reading this chart correctly, the next prop that can recharge you in the nesting rotation would the oven i circled at the bottom. haven't encountered one that i can remember so idk how fast it charges. personally, i'd probably go for the assembly brazier bc im not patient enough to wait for the stove to roll around 😂

according to the wiki, the assembly brazier is unlocked after the 5th quest is completed, costs 12 hearts

You can't access Mountain of Eden through Land of Tears (the name of the windy desert area connected to "dark desert" aka Starlight Desert). As for "windy mountain" part, which sounds like first area of Eden (Wind and Rocks), avoid being hit by said rocks in order to not start losing wl too early. Sure, dying in Eden is on purpose, but not in Windy Path. ;)

Oh, you can still get stunlocked, especially when being shorter and hit while being in a very inconvenient place like climbing the Sand Dune. TGC only took care of the mass one that indeed was a buggy problem while this one is just a minor inconvenience and thus not worth of a bug report. A mid-honk takes care of it nicely. 🤷‍♀️

Which basically happens when a Skykid doesn't register the "ground" once being stunned and thus is basically stuck in a "stunned" animation until landing on the ground. It's something I've seen happen in other games and it's basically because of hill polygons not being as straight as ground ones.

Even better, even in other games, this generally happens in hill corners as well.

for perspective, after that point you posted, you quickly lose a lot of WL very fast.

I start Eden with roughly 185 WL
I usually reach that point you posted (last torch) with roughly 135 WL

After that point there are 15 more statues: 11 until you reach the dune, one on the dune and three behind the dune.

In a good run, I reach the last statue with 40-55 wl and have to wait for the storm to claim those before I can move on.

In a bad run (which happens rarely but with bad RNG with rock hits, lots of stuns, clumsy in my honking to counter said stun lock) I reach the last statue with 5-20 WL left.

I know (or at least it subjectively feels like it) that you lose different amounts of WL based on how many you have but it is possible to reach the last statue with a bit of luck and a total of 90ish from that point. That would mean starting Eden with roughly 135-140 total WL and making it to that point without losing any.

Long story short, that's a lot of theory from memories and experience. It has been a long time since having only barely enough to make it through Eden so my memories might be a bit off the mark.

Parts of Eden with rocks are all about timing and knowing when and where is safe.

You can basically skip going up around structure with krills flying around it by flying straight to the pupe that leads inside of it.

You can skip last part before pnr tunnel by flying from little arch before it. Rocks dont hit you when you are on it.

For the first few times, it‘s better to stick with other people and friends to learn from their timing. No need to worry about shortcuts or flying, you need much practice to do something like that

I'm late, but there are also videos on Eden walkthrough on YouTube. You can watch, pause the vid whenever they reach a safe place, copy their movement, stop at those safe places, play the vid until they reach the next safe place, pause and copy, so on and so forth until you reach the pnr tunnel. That's how I went about it during my first few trips until I got the hang of the timings.

You can look at shortcuts when you feel confident and get desensitised from losing WL because doing shortcuts takes a little bit of practice to get them right

Yes you can follow the birds. Use the clouds and fly above the krill’s. There will be a point where you will leave the birds to carry on their merry way and land on the ledge behind the final structure before pnr. It is where the clouds and the ledge meet.

There is a crack in the wall at the first building, on the left. Get the two krill cut scenes done then go back and jump through the crack. Four flaps open wings to the clouds then climb and travel. ✨

At Krill Pipes, there's 2 little hiding areas to go in case if one of the patrolling ones is passing, one being right above the first set of I-beams and the other being just below the staircase's top. Always go up the 2 staircases and first set of I-beams on the pipe once the Krill's head is looking straight down.

In my opinion, these vets aren’t exactly afraid or 'moths in Eden.' From my experience, vets who have been playing for 3-4 years generally don’t need to visit Eden for candles or just for the experience. It’s more like they’ve retired or are out of practice. Sometimes, they end up following someone they assume is new, but not completely a moth. It’s just that they’ve lost their smooth touch with the game. Of course, it wouldn’t take them long to get back into it, but they usually prefer not to since they’ve been playing for so long.

I’m lucky enough to have a lot of vet friends, so this is something I’ve noticed in all of them. Even they admit sometimes that they’d rather follow me than take the lead.

I always prefer torches because of easy access. You don't have to put it anywhere and you can walk/run with it.

I was thinking once the cauldron is lit, then it is lit, and I can return to it just like the lanterns in Eden, but it will be where I need it to be. Then I could pick it up and move it to another place. But yes, i will stick with what I know.

I find this interesting (not mocking you in any way) as for me, getting all the WL back on the days following Eden Reset is making my daily CR routine more interesting. So for me, it changes the "chore" of doing a CR to "Oh, I can pick up those WL while en-route"

I was never able to nab all statues until I started going into 180+ wl numbers.

Also, my personal suggestion, as this worked really well for me, is before you do your next Eden run, try to get familiar with all zones, join some candle runs, and do some on your own. It is WAY easier to memorise the Winged Light locations when you are already familiar with the zones from collecting candles.

Not exactly. You get 0.25 of ascended candle for each statue you give wl to. You can buy wing bufs with those. Wing buffs give you bonus wings for when you are reborn so you wont be starting at 0 wl.

In a way, the game does remember that you´ve saved statues by making their cracks gold; ones that aren´t remain with the blue glow, even if it´s really a great hassle to do Eden more times in a week just to try get all statues in Zone 3. 😅 😅 Thus with Cormoron here.

The goal is to give as many statues your wl. Not to reach the diamond! The last section will have unending rock rain so focus on getting as many statues as you can before you reach that point

For me, I had just finished vault and found myself in the grey, darkly lit hallway. I noticed the change in the atmosphere and was curious and remember thinking about the Golden Wasteland and how this was supposed to be a cozy game. I thought it was just going to be another place to explore. When I started the trek after opening the door, I remember making it halfway up the first hill before it loops around to the right where the first rocks fly past. I got stuck going up halfway and thought it was a sign to come back another time.

I remember seeing the group when I first approached right at the beginning and thought to stay with them, but because I got stuck I had to end the trek there. I was thinking this is different but at least I know a bit of what it's like for next time. It took me another week before I went back and made it through completely.

But this time, I don’t know why, I decided to make a video instead of taking a picture. And you know how Sky doesn’t save videos automatically? Forgot to write earlier as my wife wanted to Watch something together but it took me roughly 4h to do Eden and a total sweep of all wl except for trial and Eden.

Including full candles along the way. One more granny and I should grey out and it's really nothing to be afraid of.

Wl/cr can be really fun if you get into a good rhythm and use things like wind paths to get some pesky outlier wl like golden arc and the prince one in the very back over the clouds... So close to the wind path exit but so far away from the other two wl in the zone

I always do the collaboration room before I go up through vault, I get the WL and then teleport back to the gates, go in vault and collaboration room, get the next, then tp out and back in

But I never travel back into the collaboration room from each area, it is quicker to tp i feel

Using wind path is a real life saver.

• enter from forest (my preferred entry since I use old home)
• Grab the WL in the middle isle tunnel
• enter and follow the currents to reach the purple starlight portal and grab that one wl in starlight desert
• back to currents in wind paths and next stop is the green gw golden arc zone (2wl)
• back to currents and next/last stop is white snowy mountain of valley and you can grab 2wl on the mountain, 3wl in the village and 1wl in the theatre along with a bunch of candle cakes

Then I do the rest of starlight later and yeah, I usually port home from
Starlight when I got the remaining two.

• vault side cube (2wl)
• vaule remembrance zone (1wl)
• vault 9c deer (3wl) => port home
• starlight (remaining 2/3wl) => port home

Then it's back to peaks and a full cr for the rest of the world
