Anyone else notice in Eden (post PNR) a soft red light that signals where the red shard rain falls once you reach the infinite rain part?

Apparently, being touched by that red light triggers an immediate squall of red rocks to fall. Avoiding the red light will reduce your exposure to the red rocks rain. I try to avoid it but eventually end up moving directly through it, anyway.

Not sure if this applies to all wing levels, but at level 12, you can tank 2-3 normal hits before burning out

I recommend going near when it should be ending, as you have a pretty decent safety net. You go too early, then you can just retreat back and try again. Too late and might be harder.

I wonder if Eden had insta kill at a point would be a good idea

In that case the best course of action would be to do a mid-to-deep honk, as it still cancels any other animation including stunlock one.

And well, common rule of thumb is to not jump in constant rock rain, just gonna trudge forward. Even though now I wonder if taller Skykids get more tendencies to being stunlocked than chibis ...

honestly when i did eden the first time and i was quite almost at the finish line if i believe, i got to the point where the rocks were just falling constantly and there was no way for me to pass, either i waited for someone to cone help only to find myself just by myself, or i had to just give the winged lights to the souls near me and just die, idk if it was a bug but it did make me a bit upset i couldn’t move at all from the place

Sounds like you were being stunlocked by the constant rain or you didn´t know what to do, in which case ... well, give as much wl as you can before Eden inadvertedly snuffs you out.

Death is a part of Storm Lock and there are more statues inside the constant shard rain. More statues you give wl to, higher the rewards in your afterlife.

Krill are insane when it comes to server merging, just doing moves that contortionists would be jealous of, disco eyes, downright ignoring Skykids and attacking ones they shouldn´t have seen before ...

Crawling means you were below 10 wl, which is low alright. But yeah, Storm Lock is there to save others and make yourself a sacrifice, thus no need to have issues with that at all.

Especially if you're just starting; you need a lot more wl to be able to reach all statues (even ones in constant shard rain) and beginners don´t have that amount yet.

Only through Zones 1 and 2 though. Once in Storm Lock, that´s that; you have to give them all away.

I'm tall and dont like platforming up stairs with the chibi mask on, so i just go in without it. I'm pretty much jump spamming in the constant rock rain area, and doing half charge calls every time i fall over, and it works just fine.

It was that, after I collected wings buff from spirits it was 101 wl, and when I get through portal and went back home it was 103 wl.
I do remember that it was one portal/credits wl, but why I get two?

You need to sacrifice your WL to save the statues. The more statues you saved, the more ascended candles you'll be rewarded

You're meant to lose your WL and die in there

you have to get wing buffs from constellation and traveling spirits. traveling spirits offer one buff per, but some constellation spirits offer more than one. it costs ascended candles to receive a wing buff.

All props are destroyed instantly upon being hit by rocks in Eden, and their cooldown becomes very long. So, it wouldn’t work at all.

If you missed statues on your run you can go back for them without waiting for the reset. But the downside of this is you have to find the exact statues you missed. And if its only like 3 or 4 statues, you should probably wait for the reset because you wont get a lot of ac, if any at all.

especially with how harsh the storm is.

the dark water will continuously drain you while the raining rocks will knock you back especially if you're drained, resulting in a few wl lost

Why would you?

It’s recommended to gather as many as you can before entering. It’s likely you wouldn’t even possibly make it into part 2 of Eden with only 20 wings, which is the point of doing Eden. Aim for 60-80 before you enter.
There are 118/119 in the main game so even if you only collect half that’s still going to make it more likely that you can complete Eden once you enter

I used to be afraid to do Eden and now that I use a controller its much easier. If you are playing on Mobile and struggle with areas like The Wasteland and Eden I recommend connecting a controller. You can get controllers for your mobile phone, and/or downloading a free Steam Account to play with a controller connected to PC. Just a word of advice!

Depends where in Orbit you are.

But technically, if you were already at the ascension to the Light, then this should count as another realm and thus Storm Lock should´ve reset.

Storm Lock does end (sorta) when you die.

It varies a lot depending on your skills, if you have a friend or a few with you, and if you stop to help others on the way up and inside PNR. If you’re on a straight shot through and practised with one friend, probably 20-30 mins. If you’re stopping to help others or you don’t have much experience it can easily take around 50 mins

The max amount of AC you can get is 15.75.
There are 63 statues, and each one you save gives you 0.25 AC wax.

Getting rained on by red rocks while trying to rescue all these frozen people and losing all my children of lights I got in the cavern before entering. Suddenly this is no longer a cozy game. I force quit the game. Little wonder there was SOME warning about entering this area. Had I knew what was coming, I would have not gone in with the limited power of a seven wedge wing.
The biggest issue I have with this game is that I'm still taking guesses about what to do as absolutely nothing is explained enough so you have a clue what to do. And that's a recurring issue since I started playing. Nothing is intuitive.

I kept having anxiety attacks in Eden when I was new for I have no idea how long. It took a long time for me to learn to not panic and regulate. But yeah Eden is frustrating and when you’re new in particular it isn’t fun. I think that’s partially by design, and to encourage you to go with others as much as possible when you’re in that new stage
When it got easier it was largely due to me committing to going with friends every week or fortnight when I was new but finally not terrified outright.
The real reward in finishing Eden is that it unlocks all the past season spirits and you can enter most areas after

When this happens it means you need to explore that realm further; there are base spirits you’ve missed and haven’t collected. Some doors are unlocked once you unlock a certain number of those base spirits. You can just explore to find them, or you can check the tutorials by NoobMode or NastyMould on YouTube (same with wing lights, there are tutorials for that too)

Finished Eden for the first time with a friend who played a year ago for the first time. They were guiding me. I have never been in this much shambles about a game in my life. But I’m glad I didn’t spoil it. Made the ends so much more worth for me

Only before Storm Lock; once in Storm Lock, you can´t, at least not through in-game means; It´s a PNR (point of no return) after all. In case you´re in Storm Lock, you have to turn off your game to return to Home space and even then, only Return Shrine will be open.

*And that´s why deeper you go into Storm Lock, more and more priority torches take. At around 1/2 of it, I always go for the torch first before nabbing the statues.

Veterans are saying you are only able to go to Eden and give your winged light for statues once time a week. If you went there another within that week.

You can do multiple runs in each week-long period, in order to reach all of the statues, but once they are all "saved" there is no further purpose until the following week.

also first time i beat eden i got like 8 ACs, 2nd time, i had 3, i ended up with, 8 me thinks (and also lovely little booster wings or smth i forgor the name)

hello eden spoilers i will ask here too, but i ran out of wl in eden a lot faster than usual
i went from 187 wl to 90 before the doughnut shaped entrance to the permanent rain when i usually have ~130, and i only actually got hit (and lost light) one time (all statues up to that point collected, this is the first irregular run and i often have times i get hit before)
i usually have 40-50 by the time i reach the last statue, but i only had 20 this time and died way faster, even losing 2 wl per hit under 10 wl. anyone know what's up with that?

yea, im aware of that (ty tho) its more an issue of i lost wayyy more than my usual, i keep count of what im at at certain checkpoints/landmarks and i was a ton lower than usual despite not getting hit and losing wl more than once before a checkpoint

thats true, but i don't know, there was a certain charm to the old eden when you could mess around more and the rain felt more consistent, and you didn't have to worry about crawling or inability to run

through eden is the main way to get the ascended candles, which you can only get so much a week

That wouldn’t work, you’re stormlocked until you see the credits. But, you can do some tricks with airplane mode to complete Eden quests, even if it doesn’t count as full Eden run
Me who did all prophecy, little Prince and most revival quests as capeless

When you enter pnr as capeless, you‘ll immediately die. In orbit you‘ll always have 7 wings, no matter if you were capeless before or not. Also, if a capeless buys a wing buff, they‘ll immediately get sent to the pity room to take a wing and lose their capeless status. So capeless can’t see any seasonal spirit in Orbit, else they wouldn’t be capeless as they bought the wing buff

The spirits are only standing there if you bought their wing buff… and once you bought any wing buff, you‘ll be forced to take a wing in the pity room. So no capeless will ever see spirits there Except you buy the wing buff in orbit, but then you won‘t be wingless for long

Second and third area actually easiest in terms of remembering statues, since it's only 13+17 in a relatively linear path compared to the 33 statues in first area you gotta zig zag around

@orchid vortex As you have not collected all 16 Ascended Candles from Eden, it should be very possible for you to return and earn another.

The statues which you previously lit will still be lit until the weekly reset, however the others will be available for you to earn Ascended Candles.

Getting to the ones you didn't previously save should be slightly easier, as well, as you do not have to take detours in order to save the ones which you previously activated.

Is there like, any way of getting to the other side of pnr from the start easily?

Can I fly over the falling rocks?

There are ways to avoid them, yes. To avoid the initial barrage, you can simply walk down into the gully, and back up the other side past the rocks.

The second lot can be flown over, though you need to stay above them until the large pipe - as there is an invisible wall along the boundaries.

From that pipe you can also fly up to the scaffolding on the left - in order to avoid most of the Dark Dragons, however to do both flights you would likely require a way to recharge your light.

The final area with rocks I have not managed to fly over, however you can fly in order to go much faster and make it near to the end in one burst.
I would not recommend attempting this unless you are confident in your flying abilities.
