But through death, we see everyone else faced either the same or similar hardships in life, that's why I find flying to Orbit so emotional. Because Eden is a challenge that beckons us all in every life, no matter what way or how you lived, to call us on our journey's end. Where there's a meeting, a parting is sure to follow, and where every beginning has an ending.

If it's the tower krill, then it's more of dodging the rocks from earlier in the level. There is a krill at the end of the level but it's just one and it's easy to dodge by going into the building.

I do Eden weekly and most of the times I’m alone, very few times does the server put me with more people, or it does merge me with a couple but later get a server split

Ok I’ve soloed once and had someone take me once to try to conserve light in the last area. Managed 15 candles on second run compared to 10. Idk if that’s good but huge improvement for me. Here’s my problem. He did a…thing. That I cannot replicate. He flew us up the mountain, past the rock storm, and through the clouds past the dragons and through a wall. I cannot even jump off the first ledge without being blown back to the beginning. How do I do this? I’m trying to get those like 7-10 spirits in the tunnel at the end, without going to the last area and seeing if I can get away with keeping them.

Making it through all of the area prior to the hallway that leads to The Storm is actually great preparation for The Storm itself. Don’t bother with the shortcuts. Instead, learn the timing, the audio cues, the patterns of Eden.

You can get to the corridor and collect all ten Winged Light in Eden without the shortcuts.

What memorial? If you're talking about the one with little stars on it those do not give full hearts, only pieces of it. If it was something else you don't get hearts for anything except a friend sending you one or the pieces collected over time from people lighting your constellation, or a single heart from getting likes on a boat message/memory message/shared space spell but those are after a certain amount

there’s a heart shrine at the end of eden after you collect AC! before you go to be reborn, if you go to the right (almost parallel to the staircase) you should see a bridge with a heart shrine on it. not the best description but i hope this helps!!

yeah, eden is basically the ‘last stage’ of a skykids life before they go into orbit, which is the bright light thing in space. there isn’t a way to get out of eden without dying if you’ve already gone past the last barrier to where the statues are, if you close the game and reopen you have to go back lol.

It is normal to lose WL to red shards and Eden. It is very, very normal and unfortunately not a bug. A couple tips (forgive me if you already know this) - when you lose WL, just look at a map shrine and see where the little yellow stars appear. That way you can head directly to the correct map to pick it back up again. Also, when collecting shards it helps a TON to have a friend piggyback on you and hold out a white friendship candle while on your back. You are like 98.7% less likely to lose WL when piggybacking AND you won't get damaged from crabs (but rocks and shards can still hurt you) if your friend is holding a white candle.

Not sure if this was a piggyback on my comment, but my white candle advice was referring specifically to red shard events. All rules fly out the window when krill are involved (altho having a piggybacker at the time you're krilled can often make you not turn gray and have to crawl... Your WL does still fly away, however you're 47% more likely to catch it).

to enter you need at least 20 to get past the eden barrier, but I'd recommend having more if you're going alone/for the first time. if you check out any of the map shrines you'll be able to see where you can collect avaliable winged lights!

I'd also recommend watching a tutorial on where the krill have blind spots, it'll make it much easier to complete safely!

small warning however, in the last stage of eden you will lose ALL your winged light— no worries though! After you go through orbit there will be a few lights to pick up when finished so you're not completely wingless as you go back home ✨️

and any ascended you get I'd recommend you spend on upgrading Spirits if you're a beginner, because then you unlock things called 'wing buffs', which basically give you more winged lights to be able to collect!

atm I can collect wnough lights to get to at least 10 wing bars, possibly eleven. I cannot reach the maximum of 12 because I haven't unlocked all of the spirits wing buffs :)

I’ve brought a lot of moths through Eden, and to be honest the minimum to bring and get most of the way seems to be over 80 winged lights, preferably more, as many as you can collect (usually it’s a struggle even with 80/85). I usually recommend at least 80-100+, cause you’re likely to lose some on the way up anyway, let alone the ones you lose accidentally early in the area once past PNR. There is something like 116 wing lights in the main part of the game now, and if you get a friend to bring you past the barriers you can collect 100, and if you’re going by yourself you’ll need it

Afaik, I don’t think there is one, but you can make the process a bit faster by keeping your skid near the clouds in the beginning or get carried by light creatures during the mid section

Last area the spirits and the glowing skids give you a speed boost too before reaching orbit

alright, please bear with me i hope i can describe it well enough 😭

okay so once u hug the glowy boi ur gonna start flying to orbit and immediately soon while flying at the start you’ll see the bridge like path where you can stop and land, and then in front of that is the entrance to the area with the jellies, instead of going there you’re going to fly to the left and up where you’ll see a window that looks like it’s been blocked off, but you can actually fly through it. once you fly through go to the nearest cloud (they’ll be right in front of u) and start going as up high as u can. this will get u on the straight up path to the final part where you fly with the spirits and those in your constellation, and then boom! ur in orbit!

also i’m gonna go to eden at reset so u can come with me and i can show you properly, if you want, if this explanation didn’t help 😭

Each statue you give up your winged light to gives you 0.25 of an ascended candle.

The amount of spirits and seasonal spirits that you have ascended with ascended candles. If you used ascended candles on a spirit, you ascend them. Some spirits have two ascended nodes you can unlock that will give you two winged lights instead of one before revival.

Though anything above the 2nd ascended node isn't required for total completion of a constellation, for example if you're trying to get tier 2 red cape, you don't need to to fully 100% a constellation.

Though if you're new, always spend your ascended candles on the cheapest ascent nodes and work your way up the tree, soon you'll be hitting your 12th wedge in no time. Currently, 12 flaps is the maximum possible amount to have.

I go through The Storm every week at full size. I have no problems with any of the three cracks. I get through each one every time.
And at full size I have no problems avoiding falling rocks. I go beyond the last statue with plenty of Winged Light to spare, having offered light to all of the Fallen.
It is not size that matters. It is technique.

I do think size has something to do though, since I’ve used that spot weekly for months and the only issue I had just started recently, with the only variable being the size difference (and I’m not even at max).

Just as some people say their energy drains faster while being chibi because you’re closer to the dark water (just as in water trial). Even in my video above you can see that when I was standing the energy wasn’t draining and when I kneeled from trying to enter, energy started to drain.

So it will be a good chance for me to test it all in next runs

I’d say the day before Sunday reset, it gives you a whole week to collect winged light and you can just go on the day before reset, this also makes it so you can change the day of the week if you’d like and you could still get AC.

if this gonna be your first run, i don't think that amount is bad. to me, what matter for first-timer is experience. you can worry the fine detail later on

as for advice, i'd say stay alert with your surrounding. there will be cues and patterns (visual, audio, etc) that might help along the way

there are also a few hiding spots, some are safe while some might trick you. be aware of that as well

pick a time you can spend a lot of time in eden, cuz it can be really time-consuming if you're not familiar in there. and if it gets overwhelming, nothing wrong with stepping back to take a breather

after you die in eden, just recollect winged light. Noob Mode has a good Winged Light recollection video, you should probably watch it. Eden resets every Sunday for a sustainable income of Ascended Candles (the red ones). Eden also grants you all of the Winged Lights you bought from Spirits! I suggest you watching a guide.

everyone in the server needs to 'die' in order to proceed, thus why you're following another player as a blue wisp. you can either wait for them to finish or wait for a prompt asking if you want to proceed alone

The key, the target to work towards, is to make it to the first sand dune without getting crystallized. It’s a strategic process of timing, rhythm, and patience. It doesn’t require any of the Elder masks, even though those masks are fun.

You and I started playing around the same time so . . . these Elder masks are really to give the veterans something to do, I think.

they can save from 1 hit of heavy damage (krill or black rocks) or 2 hits of small damage after your light meter is empty. Additionally they reduce knockback from all hits. All of them are the same mechanically and differ only in shape.

The first two pictures are the guiding light! It's the solar flare that surrounds Eden, nobody really knows what specifically it is.

The second one I believe is supposed to show where the Little Prince's planet is? Not sure.

how common would you say eden glitches are currently? Nervous about introducing friends when steam goes live, it would be the worst thing possible for their experience to get ruined by Eden not sending them directly to the room with the child in it.

it’s not something that disconnecting or waiting several minutes can really alleviate, having your first eden run get interrupted by those jarring bugs and being separated from your friends. So I would hope that there’s been at least some reduction of them in recent updates.

this issue has been around since shattering ~ AURORA. and as far as I know nobody in the public has worked out the logistics of what causes it.

think of it this way; everyone in the server are supposed to die before you can move on. but you're alone so naturally you can ascend directly.
however, the moment you're about to ascend, the game pulled you to a different server where there's still players alive. this causes a whole lot of confusion in the game server, thus you're stuck in the air

so when i say server luck, it depends if you're gonna merge/split or not

i’ve had it happen to me when i’m alone in a server, so i did not think the game is trying to connect you to another server/instance. i always believed Eden is an independent instance, once whoever enters the second room before PNR you’re locked in for the last room (PNR). and if you complete eden before someone in the room before PNR enters (assuming there are people there), the game disregards them and you can leave immediately. there’s no merging possible in PNR/ascent/orbit as far as I’ve documented. only in the rooms before PNR.

the game's way of merging its server is something, so i won't be surprised if it's actually possible. if not, i wouldn't suggest one to wait for a pop-up asking if they want to proceed alone or not when they're stuck in the air

i've merged in statue area once or twice too, especially when i'm with friends

i’ve personally never gotten the leave notification while stuck in the air, even after 10 minutes. i had to disconnect from the internet/power the game off to force proceed.

since starting in 2021, i’ve never merged in PNR. it’s always been players entering PNR from the previous room, which may look like a server merge.
if anyone has evidence to debunk or information to add i’d be very grateful to have it. I’ve always wanted to understand why this glitch is happening, why it’s never been addressed publicly or fixed by now.

Yeah... Eden got harder, about a year ago Season of Shattering introduced red shards that fall from Eden and the most hated feature I've seen so far from the community: crawling. Though crawling is more realistic, I do think it's a tad bit dramatic. Just my opinion though.

Also, you seem to lose more winged lights than before, and of course the more you have, the more you lose.

It's okay, yeah, they also introduced Elder Masks, these protect you against some damage for a while but sadly it breaks after one hit from a Dark Dragon. However it also doesn't work in Hidden Forest's rain, while drowning, or in dark water because those are repeated damages that ignore the mask. Though things like Dark Crabs and rock rain, you should be able to take a couple or few hits before the shield "breaks" and you will need to visit Orbit or the respective temple in which you bought the Elder Mask from and fix it from there by watching the cutscene or calling the Elder that gave you the mask down.

So if you didn't give enough light and lost all lights to other things like acid water and the hail, you sadly may not have got candles 😞. It's alright you can still do it again though

No, after the “point of no return” which is announced in game, and is the zone where you start offering your light, you have to go through it all and be reborn.

If you go home, all the realms will be locked and you can only use the return shrine to go back to the storm in Eden and continue.

There is a way to get out of it but only when you haven’t yet offered any light to the statues and it involves a little bit of glitching (by using chibi mask or a memory spell on Eden's door at home)

Ok I don’t know if I’m like slow or something but just a few minutes ago I finally finished the Valley constellation to get the twins hairs so I finally bought my last cosmetic the pink cape made sure my constellation said %100 and had the flag then ventured into eden upon finally completing eden the Valley elders did not appear and the cutscene did not issue however there seemed to be something invisible in front of my sky kid that it was looking at but I couldn’t see or interact with said thing I then proceeded to reset my game around 3 to 4 times to try and see if the elders would appear then but to no avail. Did I do something wrong or did my game glitch?

Sorry if this sounds silly, but once you were in the last part of orbit, did you open the constellation map at the station, go to the valley constellation, and press the flag while in orbit?? It doesn’t auto complete just because you brought everything at the valley temple or at home. You need to summon the elder manually once in eden by pressing the flag when you’re up there. Only then do they appear
If you did all that up there, then it was probably a glitch

Elder masks has been a thing for a while now

Isle elder mask 125 AC prairie elder mask 75 AC and forest elder mask 250 AC

all offer same level of protection tho. It prevents losing wl when hit by either 1 krill hit or two eden rocks

or crab hit

once shield is broken its rechargeble at the corresponding temple or eden by interacting with the elder

if you haven't rebirth, you'll spawn in stormlocked home. and using the return shrine will put you in the dark room with that shiny kid

Depends on which one's more comfortable for you since it all depends on how many statues you personally save.
Going in groups goes better for a lot of people since you have people to help whenever you go grey, personally it ends in a worse run because I keep getting hit helping lmao.

It doesn't matter if you take friends to Eden. Everyone has to save the spirits themself. But saving the spirit doesn't stop your companions from saving it: as far as they're concerned it still needs saving. So you can do Eden with friends and help each other without losing ACs.

Do not aim to get every single spirit in Eden. It is possible but tedious and so emotionally draining it's not worth it. Also, there's no reward of any form apart from 1/4 of an AC. Getting 13 AC candles is good. 14 or 15 would make me call you an expert. Don't worry about it.

Hey guys! just finsihed the game and I'm a little confused on the end game. do you always lose all of your winged light?

I restarted in the "new game plus" but now I'm back to only one wing charge

yup! now u go out and collect the winged light again

the ascended candles u get help you get "wing buffs" from spirits you unlock

wing buffs are like winged light but theyre gifted from the spirits and can only be redeemed after completing eden
