Try doing this in the home space (ignore the return shrine cutscene thing, maybe wait for it to occur so it doesn't interrupt the chibi slide). Use the wasteland stance from the black cape spirit (i forgot its name)

There is a glitch out of Eden using Chibi fall, since it can take some days until support can help you. There are many YouTube videos on how to Chibi fall.
You just start sky, then Chibi fall into the big Eden gate at home, and you‘re at the beginning of Eden. Then you continue Eden normally, and the rock should be there again
(I also heard, you shouldn’t pick up wings again in Eden)

it can be difficult to chibi fall into the big gate, so first check if you can chibi fall on something easier imo. then dont get discouraged when you're having trouble with the eden gate/portal

63 statues. It is very unlikely that you'll get them all. You get an Ascended Candle for every four statues you revive.

You have to go to Orbit, call all the Elders down and then look for the super secret Eden Elder on the constellation menu and click on it, it's hard to see but that's why it's called "super secret". Anyways you call that Elder down and you can buy capeless and Eden crown, capeless costs your sanity and Eden Crown costs your soul.

(Jokes aside, there's nothing for you after completing all constellations.)

The Elder masks protect your light from damage! They can take ~2 hits from crabs or rocks, and shield you from a single krill hit. Afterwards, they "break" and lose their glow, but can be recharge by visiting their respective Elder temple (sitting to trigger the Elder cutscene) or by summoning the respective Elder while in Orbit.

So last time I did Eden, I was following around another person in Eden. It was after I died so I was a little blue dot, I kept trying to skip watching other players but the option didn't pop up. So I kept spamming random buttons and ig the game didn't like that, bc I got yeeted into the sky and had to close my game completely because I couldn't move or exit (but hey, at least I got an achievement😭)

sometimes you are reincarnated, and then others you just get yeeted immediately

once the entire thing glitched, i had to leave and restart. It put me back to the beginning of the sacrifice/pnr section only to immediately die

That's also happened to me before. Once by myself and once with another player. I've never had the option to skip.
The first time, I went up and up and then back down again and up again. I was even among the red rocks once, all lined up, sitting on a floor of red sky. All this happened for around 5 – 7 minutes before the game went on as normal.
The time with the other player (in Sky Beta), we went up and up. It took only around 3 mins that time.

can anyone update me on what happened to eden in past 2 years or anything i need to learn before i go there?

If you're out of light, you'll crawl

1. If you run out of light, you crawl (makes you go at about half your original speed, no jumping allowed.)
2. One of the big red rocks (the kind that stuns you originally) knocks 5 wl at once instead of 2 (so be careful!)
3. There are recharging statues in the endless rock rain area (only around the start though)
4. There are red... things that patrol the start of the endless rock rain area (the area with recharging statues). They show up as a red light on the floor, similar to krill light but the edges are less defined. If you stay in the red circle for too long, you get attacked (?) (not quite sure what happens if you stay in there for too long, but nothing good happens)
5. I believe there are new statue locations as well.

Regarding the look of the place, it looks a lot more epic (the red is more saturated)
However, thousand birds is gone, so you won't see birds flying alongside you while you are ascending (only manta). Also eden castle looks different. And map shrines exist.

tldr, eden got harder, be careful. Eden got an epic makeover. That's all I can remember for now

I'm almost to the part where I can't get much further with cosmetics and upgrades until I enter Eden. This will be my first time in Eden. Right now I'm about level 75 with winged lights. I play by myself...do you recommend I try to find somebody to do Eden with me? Is it very possible I might die right away if I try to go on my own...without getting any ascended candles at all? My main goal is to get ascended candles because I've gotten as far as I can with cosmetics without ascended candles, and I want more flight power and more capes and masks. 🙂 What do you all recommend for a newbie to Eden?

I'm still pretty new at Eden. For my first time what I did was watch a few tutorials on Eden (avoiding the spoilers at the end) because there are certain save spots and tips on things to avoid and such that would help you get to the final statue area.
The next thing I did was keep a map of all the statues open while I was going through the statues. There's a really helpful one in the server: #eden-spoilers message
Circle back and try to light up all the statues in zone one. You'll be able to secure around 8 ascended candles that way and not lose your winged light since the rock rain is periodical and there are a lot of safe spots to shelter near. (Be sure to light every statue when you get to it in zone 1 if they're not already lit. It helped to go on Monday right after the reset, since a lot of players will be going then too. It helps when the statues are already lit further up ahead in zones 2 and 3 but it's not necessary. Just remember to honk. It slows down how quickly you lose your wings).
At my stage, I prefer going solo since I'm not confident enough to look after other players and it's not fun for me to be carried.
At zone 2 and beyond, just go ham and give away as much winged light as you can. :'D You can stay to charge up your winged light, but chances are the rock rain will hit you and you'll keep losing it before you're fully charged.

the rock rain occurs anywhere in the map, its severity depends on where it happens. those smaller dotted line areas just have red crystals that drain your light if you get too close!

How different is Eden compared to how it used to be in 2020?

Eden now uses the game mechanics introduced in Season of Shattering. When you are depleted of light and damaged, you are put in a crawling state and must be helped up by someone’s candle. It’s advised to only enter PNR if you know someone who will help you get up is also entering.

The statue and shelter position in Eden has changed drastically as well. Here’s a map that should be up to date with credits to sky_solsuga on Twitter.

In other languages in Sky, Eden doesn’t have this name. The name translated back into English is more like “original sin” to indicate that Descendants have a life debt to those who have come before.

I just leave the game then come back. Then it will lead you to home space but no cape and no other gate available, then i used chibi mask and climb on the top of the eden gate then trick down, then i go then eden the whole way again.

when there is a red shard eruption, you can access the void of shattering to view a random memory when the season guide appears after the shard is cleansed. from there you can initiate the shattering quest line. however, the area that had models of light and dark creatures where the season's 'spirits' could be accessed is no longer accessible since the season ended last year

Leave it just as it is. You are in Eden, watching someone else try to save statues. It's just that the camera is in the wrong place. In 5 to 10 minutes you'll get that popup asking whetehr you want to wait for your friends or proceed alone.

You couldn't see other players because the camera was a long way from them. It's purely a camera-placement bug.

The point-of-no-return (PNR) puts the player into what they call “stormlock”. Once you cross the threshold, you cannot leave The Storm without yielding all of your Winged Light. Also, if you’ve offered your Winged Light, one by one, to all of the statues of The Fallen in The Storm, there’s not much point in returning until after the weekly reset when one can offer light to The Fallen again.

The Storm isn’t a solo endeavor unless you want it to be. I go solo now, almost every week. But for the first several runs and every once in awhile, it is helpful to go with others so you can recharge each other as you make your way through The Storm beyond the point-of-no-return.

You can't change your stance in eden. no matter which is selected, you're stuck in windswept/tattered cape mode

you "die" and get "reborn" but the only reset is your winged light count upon reentry to home. you keep all your account progress, cosmetics, friends, etc. you can raise your reentry wing count (aka wing buff ) by ascending regular and traveling spirits. you use ascended candles gained from cleansing red shards and going through eden (limited amount set per week tho) on the lock icons in the spirits' friendship trees

you'll have to regather your winged light from across the kingdom of sky to soar as far as you once did (the glowing child silhouettes)

you need to ascend spirits with the ascended candles you gain from red shards and going through eden. you use the candles on the nodes of the friendship trees that have a lock

you can ascend both regular spirits (from constellations of six realms in sky), and past seasonal spirits. past seasonal spirits can be found one of two ways: first as a traveling spirit that arrives once every two weeks at the pond at home, and second in a small band of spirits as part of a special visit. special visits are not as routine as traveling spirits; keep an eye on #news for any future announcements

the current seasonal spirits can't be ascended until they come back as traveling or a special visit

When you say you have most of the Spirits unlocked, you may not realize how many spirits there are —Ancestor Spirits that occur in the regular realm spaces of the game and Seasonal Spirits which are present in seasonally-developed spaces of the realms but can only be accessed as Magpie describes above.

I haven’t unlocked all the Wing Buffs of all the Seasonal Spirits and I come out of Orbit with a count of 105 Winged Light.

Geyser, grandma and turtle are all regularly occurring moments in game that are on a timer and provide significant amounts of light. They are on a schedule for every two hours at their appointed times. Turtle you can only do once per day, and happens at 0:50 of the scheduled time, on the far side of Sanctuary. Grandma you can do twice each day, and it happens in the Sunny Forest area at 0:30. Geyser is in the near side in Sanctuary, and is possible to do three times per day, at 0:00
If you use the commands, Skybot will tell you what time these are in your local time (the command is usually !/event/when with the //removed)

Not as time consuming as you think. If once a day you run a realm for candles and the daily quests, you can pick up Winged Light along the way. There are five realms with quests so you can run each of those and still have time to play or take a break.

if taking care of moth, i rather take it slow and use the long route, to give them of an idea how to do it themselves in the future. communication may be limited, so keep holding their hand as you show them around. if they don't want that, then try to stay close and wait for them

sure there's shortcut, but if you use that on their first day, they might end lost and confuse if they have to do it on their own the next time
they'll eventually learn the trick themselves, but let that be something they chose to learn instead of forced into

1. Atleast know where you should go and be patient.

2. When there is krill, there is a hiding spot so make sure to look for ur surroundings and hide.

Shout out to the two moths that decided to waltz into Eden with way to little light. That I had to guide around and save. But only one came out with me and reincarnated with me and waved goodbye before we were brought back to life and separated

you can only save the statues once a week, i recommend you don't go to eden immediately and maybe recollect the wl in realms first

you will have a lot of trouble, and you need to spend more winglight at the end to get more candles

Is eden beatable also what does stronger wingspan do

It lets you hand out more light to the statues to get you more candles. It keeps you alive and running more.

And you can’t really beat eden, unless you count giving every statue wing of light

Also if you fly fast enough to the rays, you can ride them up until you reach the part where all the spirits are flying around you

Eden is scary, I hate the thought of losing and regaining, all my wl…and when I get slammed by crabs into red shards it hurts so much to see my light extinguish…I know Eden is that a hundred times worse

i mean, you can go in everyday if you want, but you can only the statues in there once a week

there's 63 statues in there. if you missed some and don't mind the wlr after that, sure go in. but to me it's not worth it

of course, once upon a time i know people do eden daily for the orbit wax

I was doing so well in my first Eden run, then I got stuck inside the rock pile right at the end of the statue area and ALL of my wl was battered out of me. The random chibi veteran player that joined me saved my life by restoring my light through a tiny gap until I could fly out.
Then I got hit by one big rock and I had no more light left in me. I had to float behind my hero for that final crawl and I was so frustrated that if it wasn't for getting stuck I would have been able to be by their side 😭

There are elder masks but otherwise not really if you’ve got a bunch saved up to see you through. Lots of people only run it once a month, or once a fortnight after the TS comes

Uhh hii, can anyone help me, i was passing the rose in the vault, I haven't done the last quest for the little prince as that's terrifying but I have seemed to be glitched into eden without actually going there, and I can't enter any portals to realms and it said I have to complete eden ect I am not ready in the slightest for this 😭😭

I never went to the point of no return and the cut scene just forced me there so idk what to doo

Yeah there are, just... not right there. Once you get to the part before the spotlight rain comes in, the safe zones become less "safe" so to speak. You can be fully behind cover and still take damage.

iirc after a certain amount of time you just start molting WL no matter where you are in the statue field

(at least based on what I recall other ppl saying— WL popcorning even without rockfall anywhere nearby?— but I haven’t Edened for months though should go collect backlogged wing buffs sometime before the end of the year)

It's not even after a certain amount of time. It's where you're at, the safe spots become gradually less safe.

Although, the more WL you have, the more you lose.
