Oh no, is this in point of no return or within Eden? Yesterday I found some players losing winged lights and I didn't crash, however when I was about to relight an extinguished one, a split occurred at the exact time I pulled out my candle.

Also, the new losing light beacon is replaced with a shield cracking icon. This must've been meant for those who have the Elder masks like myself, but somehow players without said masks seem to be getting the icon when they are extinguished too.

And, TIL: If you use recharge and got hit immediately after the recharge kicks in, its (recharge) effect is nullified.

There are 4 map shrines
2 before PNR and 2 after PNR

1. At social area
2. At the second area (you know, the krill section) After entering, immediately turn left. It should be somewhere around that clearing.
3. Eye of Eden
   Immediately after entering PNR, look at the right side. You can see it. If not, move forward a bit, you should see it.
4. At Orbit, between the orbit’s closet and path where you’ll get WLs from Ascended Spirits. Look around the right, it may be hard to see ‘cause it’s bright.

I saw some comments above about Eden being tougher since the update and not being able to get through the wall to fly over the krill area. Is it worse since the 19.0 update?

I've heard small heights are less likely to be hit by rocks, so if you want to avoid being hit, chibi could help with that. I'm just a small height right now because... well I was trying to be taller lol

If it helps, the last 2ish months i usually had 20-40 wl left when hitting the last statue, but this time I just gave one while my last few wl were knocked out of me. Got knocked down basically immediately after leaving the last lit statue as well, even though I have the forest elder mask. Might've just been unlucky this time, but maybe if other people are also reporting getting hit harder, they're just finetuning how hard they want it to be?

*I also didn't experience any crashing issues. I'm on a budget Android device (insofar that it tells me on startup that i might not have the minimum system requirements to ensure a smooth experience)

So I am in Eden right now helping others and stuff, and I just noticed a new detail to animation and it may just be me but when I had my Sky kid leaning its arms against something in cover by the first rock rain after passing through the first area of Eden, I noticed my Sky kid bending its legs a bit, as to crouch from the rocks.

i have asked this before but i got very different answers so i wanted to know what more people think

i know the game gives you access to eden at 20 wl but we all know that's 100% not enough

i would recommend around 60-80 for your first run just to experience eden fully for the first time without stressing about getting the max amount of ac, also its not too many wl you have to go back and collect

but if you want to try and get all the statues around 120-150 is recommended, but i dont recommend going in with that many as you may not be familiar with the map and you would lose wl for no reason

I was placed at what SEEMED to be a safe spot behind the pillars, but I got hit somehow and my shield broke. Good thing I had that, otherwise I would have lost winged light for no reason.

Hey @stark lodge , sorry for ping, but I wanted to ask about tips and what all you do to be a hero of eden

Tips for Eden? Well, for the sections before pnr, here are mine:

-Assess and examine your surroundings, observe and pay attention and keep track of the timing between rock rains. This can help you greatly.

-Watch the paths the Krills take, and examine their movement, because server merges can suddenly make them twitch and change their path possibly. Just be on guard for that.

-At the trek before pnr tunnel, stay to the left when moving up to the first light post, but don't get too close to the big red shard. You won't get hit as long as you stay the left mostly. Again, watch and observe the rock patterns, and plan out your movement. The best way to plan your movement here is to look at the light posts and go to those when the rocks stop raining down. Don't get too confident, take little steps.

-At the last stretch before pnr tunnel, you can hide behind the pillars. The closest one you can hide behind is the small top-most left pillar, (not the one with a light post), this is the best spot you can be in if no one else is around, but if there is someone around, stay back at the third light post and wait until they get to the tunnel themselves. The timing here is tricky, at the top-left small pillar here, you will want the Krill to be just headed to the right, in which their spotlight is past the path you'll take to climb up, but you also want to go right as the rock rain ends, not too early and not too late. Bunny hop like your life depends on it and hurry before the Krill comes back.

Why do I call myself a hero?

-Because I make it a hobby of mine to go to Eden either after I'm finished candle running/done with dailies or when I'm bored to just rescue people to challenge myself. I like a good challenge in which I help others at the risk of getting hurt. I do it because it's my way of expressing gratitude to the community you could say, and for fun. I always help moths because I was guided when I was one, and I hate for them to have to go through alone. Eden is best experienced with multiple people.

I can do this sometimes, by deep calling from the emotes tab. it helps the skykid to stand up instead of crawling. Kinda tricky to do tho—because you can’t do it while your WLs are going shing shing shing

Yeah, they definitely made Eden slightly harder. Went in with 172 winged light, barely made it to the last statue with 2 wings, 1 for the statue and 1 lost to the storm.

My shield broke before I could get in the continuous rock rain, and I was JUST right there too...

I had to use 3 instant recharge potions on top of that.

You know, it'd be a sweet and emotional touch if there were different death animations in Eden. I'm tired of seeing my Sky kid have a heart attack and admit defeat. As funny as that sounds.

Every time you fly past spirits in orbit they emit a small bit of wax, same with the final stretch when you see people from your friends list, the friends that are flying alone (not in groups) will also emit wax if you fly close enough to them

I know you can have wax globs appear over the ground sometimes if you are the only one in an area and are being extinguished a lot. Especially the rockskrilldeatheverymanforhimselfabandonallhopeyewhoenter area, before I got half decent at that area and got the timing down and unlocked warp with the two people I play with and now only one of us needs to make it I had them appear a lot.

I have no idea TBH, it only seems to appear once you’ve lost a lot of winged lights, it’s also not very much, but it seems to be scattered. If I recall correctly it’s only like 20 some odd pieces in the final krill area but it’s enough that you can relight yourself and get through and no worries about the ping. ☺️

I can do the shortcuts in a few hours if you would like, it’d just be to PNR because I have plans to run it later with some friends after I finish the little prince quests. I believe you can with an adapter, I actually have mine paired to my iPad and play on my iPad. The select and back options are swapped between the two unfortunately, but the iPad also looks much prettier, sounds much better and has a bigger screen without it having to be docked.

-After relighting a player, your speed is increased for 3 seconds so that you can make more decisions in Eden.

It sounds a bit OP maybe, but...

In the old Eden, there used to be a neverending rock rain at one point early on, however that section was pushed father and now there is a zone where there are red spotlights to indicate that a rain of heavy rocks will rain down as soon as it shows, so try to stay out of the red spotlight.

The statues. You can only save them once a week. If you entered before reset and saved them that week, they will glow yellow and be uninteractable. Reset puts them back to blue and interactable.

Honestly, ever since this Aurora update was introduced, I've been experiencing crashes all the time in Eden anytime Sky children are injured. It doesn't happen immediately, but after some time of trying to rescue them or waiting for an opening to rescue them, I crash like, every time. This update has killed my most favorite thing to do in Sky and pretty much the only thing that I can do after grinding for candles and dailies... I hope TGC can whip up a fix sooner rather than later because that's one of the sole interests that keep me playing Sky. And now that I can't really do that, I'm discouraged from entering Eden at all now unless I haven't gone through for that week and even then I have to pray to the Gods of RNG that I don't crash, but the crash seems to be connected to Sky kids who are injured.

Ok so good to know my Eden instance isn’t the only one that has crashed lately

With the crawl mechanic, I found it was possible to get all 64 statues with around 185 or so WLs or so. An elder mask shield (forest elder mask absorbed 2 or 3 hits) helped a little, though it only provided a few seconds of run time (or much less depending on rock rain RNG) in the more final parts before the dune sand.

Main thing was to proceed more carefully or with proper timing to avoid the red light before rock rain lands, which helps to avoid crawl until the more permanent rain in a little area prior to the sand dune (around a similar point as Link shared in his clip below, except I crawled near the beginning area of Link’s clip below).

Eden wax. At some point of your stay in its 2nd part (usually when you stay for a while) all red crystals there transform into wax pieces and a few butterflies are released at the same time. You can certainly collect that wax all the way through the map, its an ordinary wax. Just be careful not to get hit while doing so.

Is there any way to quickly get TGC’s attention focused on fixing the game-breaking crashing happening when players lose wings? the reports are not enough. the problem feels more severe than others, because it outright prevents playing through sections of the game. aren’t others experiencing this? i can’t recommend this game to my friends anymore in the current state, because of how ruined the emotional ending is by this issue. I honestly dont know, i want at least acknowledgement at that point. They mentioned every little thing in known issues like blue orb from friends constellation which doesnt really interfere with gameplay much and never acknowledged any game crashes except shard ones. While Eden crashes literally make the game unplayable. When i sent the video of crashes to their game support they said theyd share it with devs and look into it, then closed the ticket. It was a few days ago. No acknowledgement still.

I bought the Forest shield mask because I had heard somewhere that the more expensive ones gave better protection but I have found that it breaks with one hit from a krill. I dont think that is any different from the othersI

in Eden it does protect in the first and second stages but always breaks somewhere around the end of the second or start of the third stage. So I have a few more wings left to help me get further in the third, I suppose, but its not a big advantage.

I had plenty of ac but if you are struggling then don't feel you're missing out a lot! Just my opinion: others could have a different experience of them. Find someone who has the Isle one and ask them too.

These are the locks that cost ascended candles in spirit constellations (base spirits and traveling spirits). After you complete Eden, in Orbit these spirits will grant you additional wings. Note that the locks in friendship trees do not grant extra wings.

Im mostly on Android but also on Switch, Android crashes badly in 2nd part of Eden and after point of no return. Switch crashes as well, just Im not that often on it. With both Android and Switch I now have to make sure the server is empty when I go and I do Eden for ac only and as fast as I can.
