Dummy easy still, never flown in the last area where you take the long nap, but the gate skip, ravine skip, and the entire second area can all be skipped just as easily as before (iirc, the wall jump thing may be patched). You can still fly up vertically in open winged mode at the start so there’s no real need for the wall glitch anyway though.

Hope they never patch the first area, it has the coolest OOB

I’m talking about an oob in the first area of Eden. Pretty hard to get to since you have to fight the wind.

You start off with the gate skip, but just keep flying up instead of going through the gate. When you reach the cloud ceiling, pass through the wind wall (if you look down, the wind wall stops where the gate is) and go right. At this point you pray and try to fly up.

The clouds are this cool black color and everything is black and white-esque. The only problem is that you’re surrounded by walls on all sides. But they’re soft walls so you can use that to just ascend indefinitely without using energy

eden run last night is my proudest eden run ever. I started with 122 wls and got 15(+1) ac. it was my best record as far. I love the way I avoid those rocks (in the rain rock area) and I'm a bit impressed tho

use chibi mask for a smaller hitbox, and a shrink spell if you wanna get all statues easily. this week I got 15.75ac using both and the deep honk from menu glitch to temporarily stop crawling, I use shrink spell at the 2nd last lantern, and had 30wl left after getting the last statue. I went in with 165wl, so 140wl+shrink should be enough usually, even if you're alone.

Only from statues you didn’t ‘free’ in your prior run. (0.25 ACs per 1 statue freed)

If you freed all the statues already, you’d have to wait until Eden statues reset tomorrow (they reset once a week).

tgc probably want you to sit there idly and watch randos so u can cheer them on (without them even knowing lol), but here's some ways to server split:

1. turn off wifi for 10 seconds (may take more than 1 try), then turn it back on, you will ascend if you don't reconnect with the same server

2. tab out the game, switch it back to focus after 2-4 minutes and you will ascend

3. force close the game and open it again (immediate disconnect), but you have to watch your sky kid turn into stone again

To be frank, it's not more challenging. Adding more damage (essentially what crawling does, since if you're not near a light source and get pelted by a rock,. say goodbye to at least 10 WL if the lamp is far away) with other mechanics being very similar if not exactly the same doesn't add difficulty. It just makes death quicker in a level where death is the end goal.

Personally all the changes added was frustration. You're average weekly AC from Eden is reduced all for the sake of "give Eden emotional meaning again" but then they turn around and sell masks for absurd AC numbers, so you'll be numb again from grinding Eden and red shards for those masks in no time.

Gosh the crawling is so stupidly slow and they just had to increase the damage of the red rocks. I have near 180wl and I STILL struggle to get all statues. Really, this should not be happening

Personally, when this crawling mechanic was in beta I had the idea of adding a sort of injury system pretty similar to the one we have now but actually is different, here's how it's different:

The amount of wings you have measures your overall speed when knocked to a crawl.

200-150 winged light: crawl faster than normal.

120-100 winged light: crawl slightly faster

75-50 winged light: normal crawling speed

35-0 winged light: slightly slower crawl speed, but at 10 winged lights, you gain an adrenaline boost that would push you forward 5 seconds once.

Yeah, The wing light loss randomness is mainly the issue at the end. Eden isn't more difficult, it's just random how many statues you get. I've lost between 2 and 5 WL from 110 to 30 in the final section. (yes, even at 110, rocks have a chance to only eject 2 WL)

the spirits you unlocked wing buffs with will always give you them (1 or 2) when you exit orbit. you could lose wb if you havent recollected any wl in realms and lost wl or lost more wl than you collected, you start losing realm wl first when damaged. when you dont have any realm wl left, you'll start losing wbs until you reach the pity room (outside pnr). if you want to regain wb back at this point, just go through orbit again.

so yes, kinda permanent unless you go out your way to get repeatedly hurt

It's pretty easy if you do eden weekly or every once in a while, plus the shard events with ac. Will take a while to save but it's easy, as there's nothing to regularly spend them on except some spells and resizers. If you're addicted to resizers then it will be an issue to save yes👨‍🦯

Ah well resizers are purely rng and you may not get max height even with 5000 resizers There's 4000 heights so getting the max-max is not that realistic unless you randomly hit that 1/4000 chance and get max. I was also addicted to resizers and have since recovered, good luck

It's an Elder mask. They are super expensive though, but offer protection against dangerous things like dark water and crabs, but can only shield you for one hit against a Dark Dragon.

This was by far my most lucky RNG I've ever had at the never ending rock rain section. It's probably just luck, I don't know. But the Elder mask gave me an extra hit.

In my opinion old Eden was harder, it was probably because I was still a moth but even after going through it a few times it was still difficult to judge where the storm would fall rocks on in point of no return. I struggled in old Eden. This new Eden lets me get 15 AC every week because it's much easier to tell where the rock rain is coming from judging by the sound and visual cues. You shouldn't be losing any WL before the non stop rock rain unless you mixed up at the heavy rock rain spotlight part since that can be a tad tricky at times, but otherwise you should not be losing WL before any of this.

Yeah, maybe I'm just the average Eden enjoyer or an addict of Eden but I practically go there after doing candle runs and dailies for fun to help people preserve as many winged lights as they can before entering pnr.

I take the normal route and usually never really lose any winged light helping others, even if they're struggling for dear life I go out of my way to go and risk my own winged light to save them from losing any more. It's so fun and a great feeling to know you helped someone.

I also agree with Link on this one tho, while old Eden was alright, I think the new Eden is easier.
They don't give you the endless rock rain anymore and light statues you can wait at.
The normal Eden had these tiny light things as well, but.. they felt like some type of mockery to me.
(Also the rock rain in the "last area" is easier to figure out if you look at those red lights imo)
But well, it's just my experience.
Everyone has a different one with that.

i think its much harder to try to enter the cave that way with the popup teleporting you in, instead try entering the 1st hole above the water

make sure you have enough flying power left by getting close to the clouds before (re)trying, as it may take you a few tries
the sky will turn blue as you fly near the water
its the hole nearest the water's edge on your left side
(the hole is much easier seen if you havent gotten the wl next to it)
move your skykid next to the hole which has a sharp slight wall right of it, then turn your camera directly to the left of said wall, you should be able to see the opening

keep your camera in that position and fly forward into the hole

if you just want to enter pnr with the red light area you mentioned, you can keep going forward by flying next to (right of) the end of cave in the same direction, the popup wont appear and you're sent straight there

I would say though, that whole apparently new Eden is easier, as a dude who just started playing about a week ago, it's a very smooth increment in terms of difficulty

It's a bit scary especially when you lose all your WL in less than 10mins but it feels natural and makes everything seem like the devs knew exactly what new players and such should be accustomed to

Old Eden is difficult, I'm sure. But it does help new players to join the game without getting endlessly frustrated by constantly dying with less than 10 AC

Most people would argue that older versions of Eden were easier than this version. Less damage taken from rocks, no crawling, able to get all statues with less than 120 WL, the list goes on.

The old-old eden last year (not that old) allowed you to jump and run through eden with ease. You could get all statues with 80 or so wl. Then frequent updates to eden started happening and now we have this eden. Eden was quite easy and new player friendly before they removed the jumping ability, and then the running ability, then added it back and so on

I remember my moth self with all realm WLs (at the time was 77), dead after statue 55, and seeing my friend with their 122 WL waiting to die at the last statue...

The first thing I do after not playing the game for a couple days: give myself a panic attack and a heart attack at the same time playing through Eden

The love of my life and me went through hell and heaven the first time in an eternity and the first time after the last makeover.
I have some thaughts on it. (playing sky since march of 2021).
When I started playing, there was no constant shard rain in there. When it was implemented, Eden became more scary. The worst thing was to be knocked over, standing up amd gettimg knocked over again. The new crawling is slow, but it's less frustrating than being not able to stand up and move on again. So my latest Eden experience was kinda relaxing for me. At least I didn't pile up the usual tension of frustration (wich really hurts in my jaws, and that's why I don't go to Eden often).

The other thing I really liked about my current visit was the graphics makeover of the krill area. And the additional torch statues in the eye of Eden. And as always the love of my life and me went exploring in the orbit - as everybody should one day!

You just need to follow the big manta ray and when you arrive at the castle fly forward and not up. I recomend you to use a gravity spell because you can fall quickly if you finish your energy. Also use the assembly torch or the bonfire if you try to solo run

This was from my first Sky friend when I obtained Wasteland's Elder hair. That's when it began to make me cry.

I think there's only been a couple of times where I haven't cried at Eden. And those have been with friends, so we were joking around more than we would be solo. I came close to getting through yesterday - but I wasn't the last one to die like I often am. It was a moth last time. And they were attempting to hide among some rocks. That just hit me so hard in the feels.

It's usually the music that does it for me.

It's always heartbreaking to see a moth who had never been through Eden before struggle to grasp that death is inevitable. Almost just like how I struggle to grasp that, just like in real life, we'll all die eventually. It hits hard, and slowly fades away the more you come to terms with it.

In fact, I have a fear of death. My first time through with my first Sky friend wasn't so bad, because I was with them. They told me "no matter what happens, push forward. You can do it."

Honestly, yeah. It's really sad to see. A thought that always bums me out a bit, too, is that I also wonder how many moths don't realise you can go through the gateway home, and just stop there.

Eden makes me feel like an actual hero, someone who drops everything to rush to other people's aid. I've never really felt an urge to help other players in games quite like this one. Even before Shattering introduced the injury signal beacon, and the crawling mechanics, I made it my goal to help Sky kids preserve as many winged lights as they could before the final venture into the point of no return.

Ever since my first Sky friend led me, from my first time in Eden to now, I gradually became less and less afraid of Eden, and my real life fear of death. This game tells of real human emotions and how we comprehend life, from birth until death. If it weren't for my first Sky friend, I probably wouldn't have gained the courage and determination, as well as the compassion to help others through the perilous journey Eden can be.

This game really is the definition of "it's not about the journey, but the friends we made along the way." And quite literally.

Everything in life stems to relationships you keep with others, the stronger the better. One day, you and your friends will venture through the Wastelands and Edens of life, but as long as you and your friends stay together, you both will make it far. Far into the Eye of Eden.

It depends if you want to use the oob shortcut. If you do, you want medium to tall. Otherwise, chibi is best for the rocks because you have a smaller hit box

Or do both. Regular height through OOB to PNR, then right after I exit my game and log back in. While in the home space I switch to my chibi mask and teleport back to Eden for the last bit. It is easier as the rain seems to hit you less frequently.

I love how the only time I went to Eden this entire season was on the last day

I don’t even know if I find the crawling more infuriating then hopping frantically while getting knocked down like 50 times in a row becuz like while it’s annoying the sheer amount of times rocks would make me stop and do a barrel roll was also hella annoying

At least with crawling I’m moving forward more steadily then having to barrel roll in place then start hopping for my life only to get knocked down again lol

Pretty new to sky, just finished eden for the first time like 10 minutes ago. Me and my friend after we died both just,,, sat in the blue sparkle form for like 5-10 minutes without being able to do anything no matter what we pressed, is that?? Normal??

there’s a max of 63 statues, awarding 15.75 ac(0.25 ac per statue) if you manage to light every one. it’s very hard to do, but you do just have to keep giving until you run out and die.

I went to eden and this was my second time but when I was turned into stone and became the blue light thing I was shot up into the air and then came down and went into the rocks and I just thought that was so funny
