I’ve been experiencing severe lag spikes in the Cinema area — about every 30 seconds, the game will completely hitch and pause for 5+ seconds. This isn’t a normal FPS drop; it’s a full freeze before resuming. It’s bad enough that it’s almost unplayable in that zone, while everywhere else runs smoothly.

My system specs:

Windows 11 Pro, Version 24H2 (OS build 26100)

AMD 9800X3D (iGPU disabled)

64GB RAM (6000 MHz)

RTX 5090 – NVIDIA driver 580.88

Samsung 990 NVMe

The issue seems isolated to my machine — my wife’s PC (Intel 12600K) has no problems in the same area.

I’m happy to provide logs or any diagnostic info the devs need to help track this down. In the meantime, has anyone else experienced this or found any fixes?

There are two things that can cause it - slightly not enuf CPU core(doubt unless you overload core number one BUT possible due to how tgc done this) or somehow not gud connection to TGC servers

The issue persists on literal top of the top hardware(r7 9800x3d + 5090 for someone up above, in my case on r7 7700, not top but single core wise it is close enough), it's due to how it's processing the video itself (also purely CPU process btw, nothing gpu related ironically)

For some reason it puts immense strain on the cpu whenever downloading the new fragment of video and during that split second it does the audio crackling as the cpu core responsible for ingame audio is loaded to 100% for that moment

As of audio crackling - update won't do anything but removing audio effects may slightly lower cpu load which may help sometimes

Altho in my personal case playing with all the possible sound settings(bitrate, frequency, enhancements of all kind and all that) and etc never worked properly, altho it does cache stuff so if you are watching in 20 minute version on 2nd - 3rd run it will stop that as it'll be already downloaded in cache folder

If I understand you correctly you have to go to a separate place to view each part showing in a different area... and so, theoretically, I would then have to drag a full server of friends to each area...and deal with the inevitable server splits that come with moving locations in the mass servers and then get everyone all set up again to watch the next part. Then do it all over again 15-20 minutes later... to go to the next part. Doing it a total of 3x to view all 4 parts.
Unfortunately it was hard enough getting a full server of people in to the theater area the first time.
Appreciate the help but I think it's too stressful and complicated of an endeavor for me.

You don't have to die! If you have chibi mask (or a spell) you can chibi fall tru Eden portal in home space, walk until you reach the 2nd Eden phase then tp home

I've been playing for six years (with long breaks) and I never understood that you could do Eden once a week
I did it Sunday and Monday so I assumed that you could do it several times but it just reset. I admit it would have bothered me to do it a third time in a row without having the candles at the end
It had been a year or two since I had played Eden

Not currently, the only way to watch them back to back is by going to the viewings :(
I'm pretty sure an episode starts practically right as the one ends though? So as soon as the credits begin if you change to the next screening it should also be playing the credits of that chapter. At least I'm pretty sure that's what I did the other day but I don't really remember properly lol

office spirits are easter eggs, they don't give anything other than telling you their daily life

Answering my own question of the rates of the Fast Charge Spell / Fast Recharge Spell.

This spells significantly boosts recharge speed by 2x (not just slightly), that includes:

• Deep Calling: 1.25 wedges -> 2.5 wedges
• Wax collection recharge: 0.25 wedges each -> 0.5 each
• Standing nearby a player/spirit: ~30 seconds for 11 wedges -> ~15 seconds (tested with inaccuracy)
• Fire props (tested by Troupe Juggler's Large Brazier) is also affected by 2x.

I think other types of recharging get doubled too, but that's rarely used so I didn't test them.

Meditate should be the admire shared spaces, so fly straight up the belltower in Aviary, and chill at the shared spaces for a bit
