You probably have already talked about this here but because I’m not following servers all the time I just wanted to ask; what is going on with the sky instruments?? It’s been really sad as someone who got to experience a pretty seamless interface before, and play while holding hands and flying, play while reading text and being able to pan camera, being able to teach and learn from other players by seeing their key strokes.....NOW it’s virtually impossible to play an entire song because if anyone comes around you or texts then you automatically quit instrument. It’s absolutely maddening for sky musicians! It’s heart breaking because most of my friends are musicians and we became friends because shared songs and taught each other even before lighting one another or knew names. Please someone tell me why??

IKR also the space between the keys are touchable now, like if someone walks past the notes I can accidentally tap them and it takes me out of the instrument. It makes playing songs especially harder because you have to be much more precise than before where if you touched the space between keys it would just hit the key instead. Please tgc just make instruments the were they were before all the ui changes 😭😭😭😭

Yeah I couldn’t play music at all in the previous patch because of the layout, they fixed that luckily but there’s a whole bunch of other problems now too 😭😭 music is my favourite thing about sky and I hope they fix it or they will most likely lose a lot of players 😭

Well it was a past update. It changed the size and set up of the music pad that kinda disrupted my muscle memory n then this new update where they changed the music pad again just makes it even more difficult for me to play.

the reduced music pad size allowed me to play off a sheet in split screen. tbh there should be settings that allow you to customize the size more freely. i feel you though. especially with the friend tree popping up while hitting keys.

The most recent update they restored the ability to move the camera which was good. But they also made it possible to accidentally run around while playing again, and click on other players and popups while playing music for some reason. All of which makes it really difficult to play music without closing the note menu accidentally

I wish they would get rid of the “click off the music pad to close it” option and just make it so clicking the X is the only way to close the music menu. Why have an X close button there at all if you can click anywhere and close the menu?

Also has anyone gotten the switch pack and played any music on the ocarina yet? I would love to hear how it sounds with chords before I buy the pack!

i’m able to click on 5 at a time so that depends on your device & the amount of lag

but if you’re around friends, i recommend playing around with the camera until you have a really weird angle that you can’t tap on anyone with (usually with the camera at the ground, pointed up at your skykid unflatteringly)

buttons have a smaller hit box now, so if you tap between two notes, it doesn’t register that you did anything so if you’re missing notes, that’s the problem and it is not your fault

Guys, any tips for playing songs that require a lot of finger movement due to constant 2 and 3 notes in different positions? I'm trying to learn a music sheet for Zitti E Buoni that I found but the note positions are hard to play due to the fast speed of the song

Play it slowly first, memorize where the next key will be. Once you remember the pattern, play it a little faster (but not too fast) to get used to it.

thing about playing it slow is that i don't get how fast i should play it, or i keep missing the timing of each note when going faster :') sky studio doesn't seem to help either as when going to practice it there isn't a way to play it along with the autoplay or something that could correct your timing over and over until u get it (yeah, basically impossible for me to learn as i need the actual melody to go along)
