In my case, it's because my keyboard can't register more than 2 presses but only in certain combinations

Lol, I used Sky Music Nightly for the notes, I cut the music into several parts.
I learn and I play each part of each instrument just after each one on Sky.
With a metronome online, I record on my phone or with obs on pc.
I check if it is well synchronized and I put everything together in a editing software.

Okay, I just checked it. The Violin and Piano seemed to be DoM items. The Harp, Guitar, and Handpan were introduced during the HH release. Aside from the Handpan, the harp and guitar ARE the same as their igc counterparts. As for the Handpan, it’s slightly hollower than its original counterpart.

Well, at least that narrows down my options considerably. But I might still hold off for now, even if I can technically afford the violin.

Seems altitude can effect pitch.
Also, what I use to sometimes fix it is to find a shared memory with a low pitch instrument. This will cause yours to match the recording. And vise versa.
Closing out and re-loading the game has also reset my instruments to standard/lowest pitch range.

This feature is on PC and it was there when it got the PC launch already.

Yeeeeep, unfortunately sky’s music system is a tad limited, so players make adjustments where they need to.

Yeah that would be nice, rn the best way to change the key of ur instrument (besides going to the realm that has that specific key) is turn the background music off, pick a music sheet that is in the key u want, and then let it play a lil before turning it off. Ur instrument should be still be in the key the sheet was in, and since background music is off, the realms themes won’t influence the instrument while ur playing

hey no worries i have a few tips
this likely sounds off because it's in the wrong key-- you started the song off with G which is correct but becasue you're in c major all the other notes will be wrong, the song is in a flat minor/f major
showed you what i mean really quickly here:

so just be mindful of the key the song is in!

I just bought one of the sheets of music from the spirit in Harmony Hall (on tree just before the spell on left) for 10 candles & it was the same 2 short bars of a melody repeated once. No proper ending just same 2 bars repeated. Come on guys! That’s ridiculous. If this happens again, I’ll just get my music elsewhere.

Number 1 tip is practice tbh. I know it’s the boring answer but it is the truth. Find songs that u like and go over them again and again! Music is a tedious process!!

i've found that sustain instruments kinda feel like training weights, they're harder to play with but once you're decent at playing with them you become a lot better at playing in general
