Tbh i really like the season but i hate the most that the quests are bugged whenever i do i mean the dark crystal should be visible with the every explosion so then players can complete their quest I visited every door after every explosion but i didnt found anything 😒

My main complaints are not with the bugs, but with the sudden increase of difficulty and the removal of features that allowed the easy and safety of helping strangers (removal of recharge w/ honk)
To settle for it, especially when its so very easy to see the stress and drop of players that this could cause in live, would be foolish. We can definitely give feedback to make these features more friendly to the concept and playerbase of sky.

Sky is promoted as a cosy game, a game to make friends, have fun and relax. These features give stress.

It would be best to feedback your thoughts critically and give thoughtful criticism on why you feel that (preferably neutrally. I think they filter out insulting and charged feedback) and if theres enough of us saying hey these are the reasons why we feel this way and these are the events/areas we feel are lacking/overwhelming/disappointing/hurtful, we need a better solution. If you feel we're going backwards that's very valid! Say that and more and why!

Hostility is still hostility, no matter how many bows you put on it. TGC doesn’t owe you anything, so expecting change isn’t unreasonable, but it’s also not realistic. At the end of the day, it is still a game, not some civil rights movement. Instead of demanding, I suggest you make a list of pros and cons, draft a short piece about what you’re unsure about, and do it from the perspective of someone who’s willing to give and not just take. Kindness and empathy, not consumerism, are what can bring true change

Something that doesn’t require weeks of candles and hearts grinding.
Something that doesn’t force you to wear the same ugly hair you never wanted to buy in the first place every time you go to Eden, or worse, every day of the season.

That's true, but one can make an argument that these last couple builds weren't even of sufficient quality to be responsibly released to Beta. Does no one play the builds before releasing them? Do they just run unit and automated acceptance tests before shoving them out the door? Obviously the builds can't be tested exhaustively -that's our job- but it's like no one even looked at the happy path.

So, people with AP gets 6 sc daily. 386 so far in total sc in this season, if tgc doesn't change these prices. People with AP will have around 65 days to finish this season, which is little time left but they do have time left to take a day or so off. But what isn't fair to me is that f2p players if they even want to finish this season, there is the more of a need to purchase ap just to finish it all. Which isn't right.

The red crystals don’t give normal wax. They give seasonal wax, and the occasional ascended wax. They do this year-round

So basically, the more crystals you stop over time, the more seasonal candles you can forge. These can be used to buy the cosmetics

Then just give us a way to get to the void, and viola, we can buy everything on the tree in our own timing without it seeming too daunting/time consuming!

We had four spirits in performance
Their trees are *balanced and less because there are four trees to complete. Totalling around 360 ( example. Not accurate )
Now we only have two trees that basically share the same price total of 360

In conclusion, technically counting it's fair,
But the huge numbers being shoved onto your face is very discouraging
If i was still in my moth days, moth me would be very, very shocked

Would it not hurt to just... Add a third tree to make the node prices less..."hostile" ?

The trees are always balanced to be around 360~ each season, and the issue is that there’s only 2 sellers/‘spirits’
The prices have always been the same each season, this one just seems over inflated because it isn’t distributed across 6 spirits
So either way you’re still spending the same, though you might get cosmetics at different times compared to when they’re all separate ykyk

It could also resolve apart of the TS issue around the future return of said orbs trees

Maybe the repetitivity happens because mantas play a very big role in a lot of areas in the game, mostly picking you up and recharging and stuff (+ seasonal things. Ex. Swimming technique spirit manga )

One of the locations was called the "krill nest" and it was this underground webbey black and red area where krills practically roamed the area. One of the quests was to raise a krill egg that would eventually not take light from others, but protected light itself. It thought it was a cute idea to share 😭😭

I can't believe TGC is going to remove the Honk Feature; this is going to open up an entirely new can of worms. the Honk Feature is one of the most used feature of the game and it was one of the basic functions that was a foundation builder in encouraging people to help one another thus encouraging Social growth and structure to create a better dynamic for the game as a whole and the entire community.

I am new to Sky but I have been Flying Since Abyss and we all instinctively (Experienced players - not moths) Most of us help one another even though we are not friends and that teamwork helps us connect to other people that want to be team players.. THIS IS a major tool socially over all for the game and TGC is going to remove it?

At this point I might as well Just cancel my APs and everything else and quit the game.. Imagine being in Wasteland or in EDEN For that matter, and we cant recharge each other like my son and I both do we play this game together and we work as a team to keep each other alive as long as possible to get ACs..

THIS Recharge removal is going to KILL game-play balance and make the entire realms a nightmare as Red Shards from the Eye fall onto all the realms within it's reach!

This is going to also open up opportunity for Would be Trolls: Imagine if someone is blacked out and crystallized and are loosing light, what if would be trolls don't help out and save their WLs?

Currently no. It's not a Wasteland day, but even when it was, the shard was supposed to be in Ark but it never showed up. That's a bug. Also, unlike other realms, you can't see Eden erupting from the Wasteland, but I think that's probably a different bug.

Reminder. Don't hate on TGC for new features, beta is for making sure the game is balanced and testing out ways for the game to expand. If TGC make it difficult to heal, that's the whole purpose, so there's more challenge rather than simply relying on others for a free escape. It means we gotta work more as a team, rely on eachother for saftey.

TGC are also humans so don't try pressure them into giving us updates, they will give us an update WHEN it's ready, no sooner

Only for people who are completely burned out. As long as you have any light left, deep-calls will still recharge you, but if your light is completely out, you will need actual flame to re-light. It makes a certain kind of sense.

last bit of eden is a bit problematic because you get your light put out pretty much instantly and theres no safe window to relight
but otherwise this makes assisting other players a more interesting & involved experience than just mashing the deep call button

We used honk for various other things like aiding others that are doing group darkness burning that requires more than one payer - for example in Wasteland - the big plant require at least bare minimum 2 people if youre a pro and intermediate players at least 3 or more so you can burn all the darkness - Not being able to honk is going to make recharge in flight or floating off the cape difficult. Less people are gonna do those darkness brunches for starters because of this

We wont be able to why? Because the HOnk recharge will be removed, and so your suggestion for using the Candle Lighting Method to re charge each other will not work because you ahve to haev a current flame going from your self in order to light your candle so you can light others..

That's a good question,, so far the only thing that was tested in the video that I provided from Youtube that the Deep Honk when someone's light is out doesn't work.. NOt only that but during the EDEN days storyline when all teh red shards drop the Krill will be more powerful and have the abilty to put you into temporary stasis and slow you down as you turn into a crystal shard.

IT stuns you and you move every slow thus putting you at risk of dying in black water, getting Crabbed or Kriled by other Krill..

So if you're going to go to wasteland or Eden.. Think Twice. before going

I think everyone was excited at first. Part of the problem is that it doesn't work properly, so I don't think anyone's really necessarily getting the experience of what it's supposed to be like. But besides that, there seems to be a strong feeling in the Beta playerbase that it goes too far, and the devs have definitely noticed that.

Im sorry I just now seen this: yes this does work because I have verified it to work multiple times with my son, we Weekly do Eden Runs and ascend to get ACs, we do this every time and its hard work but we are a team, now we are going to have to use the lamps which is going to be difficult with things flying everywhere so the chances of getting to the next lamp in Eden as you get closer to finishing is going to be more difficult with each second that goes buy and the further you go deeper beyond the ||Point of no return||

On the topic of how QOL has decreased, it feels like Sky is anti playing in groups. So many of the new light sources require people to undo hands (eg shells) and now crabs knock people off… My partner has a physical disability and I drive them around because they can’t do it. There's something that got me thinking. Recently, the shards are located in seasonal areas
If this is going to be a permanent thing in live... at least the shards are not accessible to moths easily. I mean, seasonal areas aren't supposed to be easy for moths to find. Nor it will interfere in their normal gameplay

Just a rundown on what the quests should be like when working properly for those who are confused.
-You can complete the first three quests in any realm
-The event location is indicated on the realm gate, it rotates daily
-Clean most/all the darkness until a medi circle appears
-Meditate then collect the light fragments
-Animation should play, and the crystal guide appears, talk to it
-You'll be teleported to the void where there are creature statues

But the quests are currently bugged, so you may have to do it several times

I suggested in an earlier post of mine that the appearance and behavior of crystals could be tied to what they are giving the player. I have noticed that there's three of them:

• Inactive (ex: Forest shards, but I may be wrong cause it's raining there), those give normal wax
• Glowing (ex: Sanctuary), those give ascended candles
• Active (ex: Bird's Nest, crystals are actively vibrating/shaking), those unlock area exclusive memories

It’s not the memory for quest 1, no. Basically you need to clear darkness found in the realm marked by a dark crystal, the eruption happens every 30 minutes so the next one should be in 29 minutes from row

When can I do the season quests?

It does seem to be bugged right now, with many testers not being able to complete the quest even though they...um, "complete" it.

As of now it's pretty bugged and won't recognise u did the quest until you do it atleast 4-5 times....omw for the fourth try......also if u have like 4gb ram gl tryna get screenrecords for feedback /bug reports.....also ig I'll have to delete my RAW photos folder and make some space up

i think it’s the system because the information in crystal tree changed after I did one shard quest (it said retrieve one more piece)

One shard quest? You were just lucky. Most of us have to do it multiple times to complete one

It's definitely a bug, there's just not a set amount of times it has to be done. I've done a total of five and I've only just completed the first quest

Okay, so from what I can gather, the crystal will inexplicably disappear before it's finished if the half hour turns. That's a bug. Just do it again.

Got some queetions.

First off anyone notice the extremely grating and random noises the snow makes now when sliding in it? I have misophonia and this triggers it so bad I end up dreading having to go to valley and interact with the snow.

Second, how many candles so far were the nodes? Does anyone have a count of light vs dark?

There is no rock in Vault today. The rock will only appear in the realm the Guide is standing in front of. It's in Sanctuary today
