I'm retailing a thought here - (S)He wants to know why the entrance of Ark and new area of Abyss can't be changed, because Ark is on the clouds and Abyss is under the water while the entrances are opposites?

Well, switching them at this point would probably be confusing for everyone, since Ark has already been in its location for over a year and a half. Also I don't really see it as that much of an issue I guess, since the boats in the Sky world seem to work on both clouds and water, just because it starts out one way doesn't mean that it can't have a terrain change somewhere along the journey

Well actually it's a bit confusing now, since they started over testing with Days of Fortune first, so I think the boat is not supposed to be in the IAP shop right now. It should be back once testing for Days of Love begins again. But if it wasn't showing in your shop before when Days of Love was testing the first time, that was a bug. If it's still not in your shop when Days of Love starts again, go ahead and report it that time because it may still be bugged

Days of Fortune is going through testing again now, so I would think that the Fortune IAP packs should still be in the shop if you didn't purchase them before (I can't confirm myself though because I already got them during the first round of testing)

If something is not showing up for you and you believe that it should be, it's probably best to go ahead and report it and then TGC can figure out if it's actually a bug or not

I'm still bitter about recent "fixes" to the boat placement and how it can no longer placed in the air. The flying boats are the most prominent part of general sky lore, that's the first sky's transport we ever see (in tutorial's spirit's memories)... Why not just give us one?

I think it could be related to this: Days of Fortune special envelope gifting enabled. This should appear as a node in the Friendship Tree with friends that you’ve unlocked at least up to double five with. But we're really not sure.

So i sent feedback on the anti-griefing thing that most players weren't a fan of. but before i sent it, i made sure to copy it so that i can send it here to see what you guys think. anyways here's what i sent. "So i get that you wanna make it so that skykids can't grief other players, there are some ideas i have to make it so that players aren't as upset about the prop placement change. my first idea is maybe add in 3 different states of props. first state is the stranger state. the props have no collision and, when using the prop, it never gets collision. state 2 is the lit player state, basically how it is for strangers in live. and finally the friended state where all props from the player you're friends with have collision. and my second idea is you could just set it so that spirits aren't affected by props, even if they have collision. both methods would need you to get rid of the "invalid spot" thing, but i think both of these ideas would greatly benefit the protection against griefing." (edit: there was a don't at the beginning of the thing but i got rid of it so u can get what i mean.)

When concerning CotL and LA I'd have to respectfully disagree there as beta is the same beta, having Light awaits slowly becoming what is now the current edition. I do think beta had less ts a bit because it was requested by beta players after this system came to live (originally this was not intended to be in beta - one more proof that TGC listens if they find something is reasonable) and not even once beta players got something else (the latest example was Thrillseeker revisit with props) for testing instead of actual ts. But the difference is not big in numbers.

there was a bug wayyyy back before enchantment testing where all past seasonal spirits were able to be seen in orbit. i remember some players were able to get wing buffs there. but with how many times we've had bugged ts or tested extra, we really can't know the exact number. it doesn't really matter in beta anyways

Anyone notice how the recent seasons have gotten a little more dangerous/creepy? Starting from tlp, one of the quests featured you having to go through harsh winds and meet the prince then the krill. In flight, something comes out of the ark wind path and the whole flight path has this gw ambience. Now in season of abyss, the lore looks really dark and there's literally multiple krills in crystal bay!

Aside from the krills,there's the "elder krill"

Hi @vernal coral ! I’ll reply to you here instead: yes, there was recently a candle bug in beta that gave many players unlimited seasonal candles. You can also read about it in #beta-known-issues . These candles will be removed in a future beta build and should not affect the Live game. It is very much a thing in beta, where it’s all very buggy and unstable.

As it goes against the tos of tgc to switch accounts (as it's also tolling on the memory of the device/app as there arent appropriate measures and safety nets for switching acouts). the caustics and some updates to textures, lighting, and and overall rebake of levels caused some things to get a little wonky and art team is sorting it out, but i'm not completely sure what's a known issues, what's fixed, and what's intentional.

eden seems to be affected by the lighting changes I’ve seen in sanctuary, village of dreams, trials, etc. so I assume it’s something in the game as a whole rather than just specific areas. went to fire trial and even with two white candles in a piggystack you can barely see the candles on the floor when you’re standing on top of them spirits flying section of orbit is also a lot darker now - which I kinda like tbh. though the wax becomes flashier because of this

Yeah, I'm pretty sure there's always been a strong wind wall around that upper area to prevent people from just flying in above easily (though it's still possible with the right routing). Recently though, I've found that the strong wind feels lower, so that there's a high risk you'll hit it approaching the 2-player area normally and flying upwards, rather than getting on top of the cave first and flying right over it

i mean there is other bigger issues rather than some things being seem dull example the wing light is floating out at sea, some murals are buried
its no where near the final version
now what exactly was "polished"?
the structure where the first quest takes place (the whale tail) is now a new proper building
the dome like structure is also now properly modelled rather than just reusing vault's pillars
the top portion of the main abyss structure is no longer a dark void rather its a beautiful but eerie hallway with a dead end
the pillars on the main tower is new rather than just reusing existing models
added aqueduct like pillars (the ones you see on wasteland social) to remind you its wasteland
complaining is fine... but its obviously the map is still in development like some things are at placeholder levels

LOVE the added decoration, but a few qualms/suggestions:
-starfish/kelp/coral look a bit out of place aesthetically? starfish should be whiter like light creatures, maybe have more of them in varying sizes. kelp could use some more texture, same with coral. coral could maybe be a bit less saturated?
-i really do prefer the old boat, this one seems too plain. the mushrooms are also still there, in the same placement as on the old ship so they're kinda floating randomly?
-we really do need some more aboveground decoration, it is a little jarring going from the pretty underwater to the barren shores.
