Unpopular opinion: I honestly think it's great they added IAP cosmetics. It gives some players the chance to stand out with exclusive cosmetics. With all respect, it's not TGC's fault you can't afford. They're already giving you free cosmetics from Traveling Spirits, you guys are asking too much from them by not wanting IAP cosmetics. They need to make money, you know? They're already giving you the WHOLE experience for FREE, let us have some exclusivity to people that can afford it.

These prices are very high considering being part of the season itself. There may be a separate reason why these are separate from the season so I can't judge much but if these would work more as ultimate gifts rather iap, or at least one of them. Most likely these prices aren't changing because everytime we say something is expensive, the price never gets lowered and I know many can back that statement up. Yes we don't need cosmetics to enjoy the game but it would lift our spirits and the prices just crush those spirits

The sword suit with the scarf cape doesn't make sense, since it's actually paired with that fancy royal cape you see in the closet (per the book's illustration.) I much prefer we get 4 ults this season as well, that being adding the Little Prince bundle into the ultimate reward lineup

Afk system is something i don’t like at all, quite the contrary. Personally i think iaps are expensive too but i also don’t feel the need to buy all, even what i dont like. Most of them are cosmetics and not actual functional items, the latter would be an entirely different case for me personally. hey yeah, as a qpoc i see where you're coming from. however i'd like to add that classism is a real problem and that poor people or people who live in poverty are marginalised too. they (we) deserve to consume entertainment (in this case games) as they are intended to be consumed or experienced and i think that's what people are getting into when they talk about inclusivity - the implication that if someone's not privileged economically, they can only get a watered down version of their favourite game.

HOWEVER, i know that protesting for IAPs in a game definitely doesn't constitute as activism and i understand if you maybe mean that using the term inclusivity for this can dilute the meaning of the word. therefore overall i'd avoid using the word onwards (and probably gently suggest others to do the same) when discussing IAPs, but i'd like everyone to note too that socioeconomic status is as much a cause of marginalisation as race and gender/sexual identity. ^^

I feel like there's a lot of hate towards what's going on NOW instead of trying to be reasonable and understanding of their circumstances. I understand the hate but being in a company can require some rules and regulations that not all of us understand. I think a decent compromise for right now would to probably only have 2 IAP and move one over to be the ultimate reward. So I’m a player that has collected every cosmetic in the game since Sky came out. That being said, ultimates need to be shared with everyone. Locking cosmetics arbitrarily only creates division and elitism when Sky should have everyone be on equal footing.

personally i totally get the IAP thing for the reasoning of them adding it (yeah i know it’s subject to change), however they need a better compromise. What I'd suggested is they can have the Little Prince's Attire , all as the ultimates (hair>PJs>Scarf>Star Cape) so that it's at least tidy that everything that belongs to the prince is an ult. And as for the sake of iaps, they can easily have the swordsman suit, the fox prop and the rose prop as the iap because they're prince's friends, so it's okay if they're just an extra little iap. The completionists and the people who want them will still buy them so they'll still make money.
I think this will be much more tidier than having some Prince stuff as ult while some as iap.
Also, apart from the iaps, that noone will talk about once the next season arrives with "better" stuff , can we talk a bit about the permanent things? The new area, the spirits, and the questline that'll stay with us forever? Isn't that part beyond beautiful?
And while this discussion is very fair and necessary , i feel it has overshadowed the beauty of this season. I hope there are enough who can take time to gaze at the bright stars and the hues of purple and appreciate their hardwork.

Yeah, and it’s honestly sad for me. I agree, just because you play longer doesn’t make you more superior or important or anything (and those who think they are really disappoint me) but I feel like veterans and older players are finding that they can’t wear certain cosmetics like you said. It makes me upset when players say that it should be all inclusive, but then actively attack other types of players for having different and “cooler” cosmetics.

Having ults is a proof that “yes I have been through this season”. I definitely agree about the IAPs, I think they're very abusive of certain mindsets such as the collector or the completionist. I don't really mind the emotes coming back, but I don't have much of an opinion on that to begin with. But I think that we're arguing for nothing. When you look at any of these arguments, everybody's already made up their minds. It's kind of pointless to have these back and fourths since too many conversations are going on at once and nobody is really "understanding" anything.

This kind of unrest is just... frustrating. It doesn't feel like a normal discussion. People just get annoyed, hurl insults at each other, try to imply that they're above someone else. No matter how little you trust tgc, I don't think that what we're doing right now is any more helpful than just trying a go at submitting feedback, whether you think it's useless or not.

I feel like this needs to be said. Look, not all veterans (like me, I think I am a veteran) are opposed to having the tier one emote coming back, I am happy that everyone can experience them. Heck, I am not completely opposed to ultimate gifts coming back, my mind can be changed given a good reason. However, I have been noticing a worrying divide between old players and new players that is getting hostile. I have noticed a lot of new players have been attacking veterans a lot more than the other way around. Then again, I am an incredibly oblivious person.

I'm honestly having a debate inside head on whether I'm gonna buy the pass or not. Most of the cosmetics are decent but the cosmetics that aren't inside the season pass are just way better

But from a business point you must know what are you buyers going to get, in relation to what you are offering them. Hear me out, if this were a "Collaboration event", idk for like a month, I would accept it, because the most wanted items are iap and would not be a season like we all know them (where all the items are either free for daily candles and quest + the pass locked items), and while we do have both they decided to put the stuff we want the most as iap.
If this collaboration was out of their reach/budget they should have know better and skip or make it completely an even like Rainbow Days, maybe getting the rose as candles, some spells the rest straight to store. And don't get me wrong, I'm super excited about the season, it's wonderful, just the pass and iap are just not working or communicating well for me... :pWow: :stickerHug:
