There may be another Google bug happening among players, if anyone can't access their Google play account with a message telling you to log in and verify, go to app settings and find the Google play services app. It's a Google play themed jigsaw puzzle piece icon. Go in, go to storage, manage storage, and clear all data.
It has happened to me, and two other ppl from this server so, heads up

Since I'm not touching the screen, after some time I'm unable to pick up light even when I'm moving the screen and myself externally with a controller. I have to physically tap the screen when I'm moving.

i use controllers as well and from what ive noticed:
1-forgin a candle can disable AFK
2-open the home icon can disable AFK
that's what i had to do instead of touching my screen every now and then, otherwise yes that's probably isn't intended.

No. So far afk here in sky just means that you don’t touch the screen at all for 5 mins. In CausticGlass case, they didn’t touch the screen but still played using controller and sky registered it as afk better drop that in #beta-feedback to make sure the dev read it first I guess

This afk system might be a solution. Waiting for afk people is just annoying, but i think it should be balanced. If they are not able to get any wax at least make them immune to rain and waste water, crabs and krills.

Y'all i have a question! I have an issue with this beta wave,i cannot see myself as a tester. As a result i checked what i could do,and it said to "completely turn off your phone" but i unfortunately can't because I will not be able to turn my phone back on for a while due to issues related to my power Button. they say new farming system so we get candle faster
but to get all 15 candles needs the same amount of time, 2 hrs
and no matter how much we run, the candle meter will increase so little bc the chevron has been reduced to 0
this is also a fake reason
they are adding more area, more candle. finally we can get 20 candles per day. and TS become cheaper
but they create new farming scheme to prevent us to get 15 candles per day

I know ktjn confirmed it doesn't work like that , but it works for me everytime. Stand near a person with your dream size and use resize , you'll have high chances of gettung that height. I always ended up getting the height of my friend nearby when I used resizes

Shattering stars, losing light under the rain.. It's just like when we were kids and would run under the rain or mud. Sometimes we trip and get wounded, but we continue playing and have fun. All sweaty and sticky and stuff, we don't mind. We were kids. We just wanted to play and run.

Unlocking the spirits, I had to chase them. The memories were fading under the rain, and at the same time, I was losing light too.

I literally forgot about the outside world and stresses of being a grown up, my bills, my debts etc.

I was too focused to chasing the spirits, almost as if I was a child again, chasing my new friends.

I loved it. So much. The season hasnt even begun in live yet and it's already my favorite.

The newest version of DL is buggy. The blue light in each chevron level delayed its decrease when the required amount of wax for 1 candle is collected.

In the previous versions, the blue light decreases whenever an exact amount of wax is collected according to current chevron level. (eg. 3 chevrons was always 88)

For example, starting from 0% wax after reset, I collected about 10.75 candle (1195wax to be precise) before the candle meter dropped to 1 chevron.

410 wax for first 5 candles
1235 wax for 6-10th

AFK ubering is something I was working on fully achieving with a friend of mine. We discovered an abundance of ways to bypass obstacles to maintain linked hands. Hours and days of practice, discoveries, and research will all have been for nothing.

There are students and workers and responsibilities and our lives don't revolve around sky whether we like it or not. I consider myself to be a fairly active player but even I sometimes have to ask my friends to take over.. like if there’s a doorbell, or a phone call or simply a friend or family wanting to talk for a bit. Istg it feels like the devs are sometimes making things more cumbersome for us. Like even increasing the shrine likes needed, I can confirm that shrine groups have just pulled together and now have to work thrice as hard, but they still manage to get a heart with 50 likes.

For real. Early days I didn’t really socialise much just explored the realms, but slowly the emotes grew on me and I found out how great everyone was. That has been the best and most healing thing about Sky for me.

Repeated policing is very fitting for what TGC devs have been doing recently. It’s lately become a love hate relationship with the game as the creative team and design is shelling out the best cosmetics but at the same time the gaming experience and mechanics are deteriorating and making it really frustrating for us. I feel like instead of having the afk thing be just sitting there, you would need to do something: like with the sapling quest, instead of just sitting next to the sapling, the quest could be something like "talk with a friend at the sapling", where you need to bring a friend there and the game checks the amount of messages sent, rather than the amount of seconds spent near the sapling. this way, it preserves the original quest (admiring the sapling), but also makes it so that it isn't completely idle.

Yup, that’s what happens. As you stand up the candle gets close enough to burn. It took me a bunch of tries. You have to keep trying in different spots. I think the one that worked was when I sat between the trees

It’s just that I’m not sure if being a beta tester works well with my playstyle, because I like the story-based aspects of sky, and being a beta tester means you need to look past the story and into the mechanics to make sure everyone else gets the best experience, but I feel like I fit better in that everyone else category. I want to get hyped with everyone else about the start of a new season, and I feel like some people feel good about working “behind the scenes” and helping out more directly, but it sort of detracts from the experience for me personally

This was just a long-winded way of saying that beta doesn’t really work well for me

b) I only realized that beta wasn’t really fit for me once I started playing in it, and so
