It took me like 20 min to find all tree house and hatch in forest. IMO we need some hints to find the location of each tree house and hatch. Otherwise I can see through some amount of player need extra help||like wiki||. Imma wait till reset to see if season has a cutscene to guide us. If there's no, I will choose #beta-feedback

yesterday some of us here were talking about the idea of awarding candles for things like hanging out with friends or playing instruments, but it wouldn't be good to "economize" those natural interactions

but what if instead of rewarding candles directly, those interactions could help speed up your candle run? like giving you a speed boost, a bigger multiplier or maybe some recharge potions for the day

I was thinking about the piggyback rocket trick and how it requires a high level of friendship and also close coordination between two people, and many of us use it to speed up our candle runs (especially in vault). what if there was something like that, but official?

Do as much as you want to, even if it's just doing your daily quests and hanging out with friends, and report your experience with the candles you get! We are testing this system as a way to reduce the pressure to run the entire game for candles after all

It seems like chevron 3 went by really quickly. Chevron 2 and chevron 1 both took what seem to be much longer to decrease than usual. what i'm certain of in my case is that i've got 1 chevron left with forest and wasteland left to do, and given that 1 chevron is past the halfway point of the system, that doesn't bode very well when the candles i've earned for the day are only just roughly equal to what i would've gotten in live

I think overall the first chevron hasn’t changed (although I can’t be 100% sure because my meter is now bugged). I usually do a part of prairie that always brings me down to two chevrons by the end, and I think that’s where I’m now. Don’t have time to run more though. I’ll try tomorrow to see how the second chevron will go, I used to do a run that would bring me to about half way of one chevron

Running the races first shouldn't make any difference, unless they've made significant changes to the system. It's a weighted system, so you will get the same amount of candles for the same amount of nodes collected. It shouldn't be per wax anymore. At least that's how I understood it.

Overall i think we got less than we would in live because the race candles are not being full candles anymore. Also feels slower to do more run than in live. Similar to the feeling when you start to run into the water its easy first, then you can barely step. I did eden, no death loops however i crashed a few times at pnr and crashed once with the ‘Do you want to move continue eden alone’ question part.
I tried to remerge with the others at home but it seems like if you crash or restart your device stormlocked you will get your own server. You wont marge with anyone , and nobody can join you either. They see you mostly offline and sometimes with the your friend is in a challenge message . I don’t know if it’s intended or not.

You can leave your feedback about the new system in #beta-feedback , but this new arrangement benefits TGC a lot because they are guaranteed active testers that will be working to provide as much feedback as possible instead of inviting a bunch of people that might eventually go inactive and unfortunately take up space. TGC will be sending out invites when they need to, so they won't be only using the same people forever.

There is a way to reproduce the "weird candle bug." For anyone who hasn't tried to replicate, please try going into a cutscene while your candle meter needs to forge a candle. That should make it happen. If it did, please refer to how you could replicate 100% of the time when filling out bug report.

i think the way it works is that when you get kicked out of beta, you can still log onto the app, but you can no longer update-- so once the game forces everyone to update in order to play, you can no longer play

Smaller invites will now be the norm and will occur on an as needed basis as players become inactive in beta. There will be small invites but there is no timeframe for when. They could be months away or even longer before enough players become inactive, we just don't know. For now the best thing to do is make sure you have the beta invites ping role and then try not to worry about it.

Glad to hear Kai. Beta is not now forever closed by any means, but things will certainly be a lot slower and less chaotic than they used to be with wave chaos. Just make sure you have the invite role and then occupy your time with other things. Pings will come eventually.
