I’m not talking about the in game Shepard feature in beta. I’m just talking about like....I used to hang out in forest alllll the time and would honk to watch beacons on the map. When I saw beacons going into dangerous places or in distress, I would always go help the players. It was also a neat way for new players to actually figure out the game and where to go etc. Sky is just different fundamentally without it. I no longer pay attention. There’s not really a sense of community anymore. I only help when someone is honking a lot and even then half the time they are honking at a friend but I can’t tell because beacons only appear when players honk now. So I may fly across half a map to help only to find they are spam honking a friend. With radar I could have been able to tell right away they weren’t alone.

They removed it to reduce griefing apparently - players harassing other players. It is to give players the option to be seen/found. But for some of us it was actually essential to how we played and navigated the world.

Adjustments would have to be made for multi player doors of course (having NPCs in story mode) but just killing features that were critical to how some of us actually functioned with no warning was just a weird choice and I always think it will be. This is the issue, you have a season, some people get the pass and get everything, some passholders don’t get everything, some people don’t get the pass at all, and some people come in after the season. The people who got everything can be divided into people who purchased the pass and others who got gifted it. Now the people who purchased the pass are more likely to express complaints of “ahw how come they get it for free”. That’s why people suggest using a previous AP holder discount system to make it somewhat fair on everyone for a system to provide seasonal content to people who couldn’t get it the first time around which is extremely difficult to juggle

a reminder that gaining items and cosmetics in beta will stay in beta. any progress won't transfer to live, and to be clear there isn't much of a reward for being a tester other than being able to access something early, which can be rad, but also filled with bugs and possibly incomplete content. i've seen players complain about these things, yet the whole purpose of beta is helping out with progress. TGC wants help and feedback to improve the game in terms of new content, updates or just feedback on the game overall (which you can still do in live pOg).

I dislike the current TS system, finding it too random and also too grindy for players who have other constellations to still complete. I've had some ideas for possible revamps that could include the ultimate gifts too but at the very least I'm hoping they will make it less random chance.

About grinding, i don't know, i have unpopular opinion about grinding. I think grinding on sky was very relaxing. To fly around and enjoy the music. And what best grind on sky for me is the map and the people we meet along the way. If you want to grind, you only need to go to candle location on map and fly. No need to equip something or prepare some buff etc, just use dafault item or ts item, works well and same. No need to search some empty server or channel for avoid competition between player. In reverse, you hope to meet other player on map, so you wont feel lonely or even to feel safe for open doors/burn the tree. And you don't need 5 Hours to fulfill for grind. I usually only grind for an hours in forest, valley or just Daylight. Still manage to catch important item on ts like cape or like now, umbrella.

I saw some people managed to bind it to both with no troubles, perhaps it may be device dependant. As a suggestion try binding to live first (to be safe) then prevent open pop ups or force opens and try to bind in beta while the device is unable to open or suggest the live game. Just an idea, it might not work.

It was me i got the bind is only for one account message on live, i did the binding, tried the spell, and it worked perfectly.
What I see when I scan the pin, is a pop up window asking me what application do i want to open #beta-screenshots-videos message
I chose beta app the second time, where i got the exact same linking is permanent, only for one acc message. I did the binding, tried the spell in beta which also worked.
So basically every time i scan the pin i have this window where i can chose what app do i want to use, and live active spell and cooldown doesn’t effect beta active spell and cooldown.
Btw my phone is a Xiaomi Redmi note 9, so nothing extra fancy.

I've been experiencing this annoying bug in both live and beta specially when the realm that is sunny like the DP, all of the non seasonal capes just turning to white cape for a sec/flashing and it's so annoying in the eyes just like i said like in a very sunny realm. This bug happens to me since I update the game both in live and beta but the beta version was the first one to happen the bug and then the update came for the live version of the game so the happens to my live version of the game. I didn't know what to do. I tried to Clear the Cache of the game in the settings even clearing the data, I even delete the game like that would do fix the bug. I'm just waiting for the hotfix of the game and the TGC is on their family celebrating and I respect that... I just need patience

a reminder that gaining items and cosmetics in beta will stay in beta. any progress won't transfer to live, and to be clear there isn't much of a reward for being a tester other than being able to access something early, which can be rad, but also filled with bugs and possibly incomplete content. i've seen players complain about these things, yet the whole purpose of beta is helping out with progress. TGC wants help and feedback to improve the game in terms of new content, updates or just feedback on the game overall (which you can still do in live pOg).

forced portrait mode is actually really easy. start a screen recording, click to share it, tilt your device into portrait mode, and then cancel out of sharing. it only works on ios but does work on the global live version too. it’s not hacking so much as taking advantage of a bug.

None of my phones get very hot on 60 fps .... I have not had that issue for a while .. before I bought a phone cooler that fixed the issue and since through sky updates and iOS updates I’ve been able to take off cooler and play 60 fps no problem and phone ain’t that hot ...if anyone is having heat issues get a cooler .. not a little plastic thing ... one with a heatsink and fan and semiconductor which literally freezes your phone and you be able to play sky for days and days and will not even get warm

@fleet canyon bruh you know downloading APKs is against the Terms of Service, right? It could cause a lot of performance, account and malware issues for you. Trying to use APKs will result in download problems and may result in account data loss and inability to contact TGC support.
