How the background mute works on iOS, (I assume) the game calls System::mixerSuspend when the blank/outside audio is played, stopping the music mixer but allowing sfx etc....

There are people who will uber someone cr and to eden everyday in exchange for hearts in my community. Along side that there are people who sell adventure pass in exchange for hearts. The new ts system, if the candle price for ts does go down, that no one will need ubers, ubers cant get hearts, hearts cant be used for adventure pass exchange

I wish the game didn't encourage that type of behaviour, but I know it happens (fairly frequently?). Hearts have always been intended as gifts, not currency. But since the cosmetic system and game currency looks like it does right now, hearts have also become currency.
I hope that ubers who want to have hearts in exchange for their help always are open about it to the people they bring along.

I ended up in a group where i got 2-3 hearts a day as a gift all the time and whenever someone needed for something everyone went and sent right away. I think good example from your first friends are an important factor.

Anything that you need nearly a thousand of to finish the game, which can only be gotten one at a time, through the work of others, is not a gift. Just payment.
At these quantities, the majority of one's hearts will be sent in regular trades, expecting one in return. Players are just vending machines to buy hearts at regular prices.

All it takes is one person extracting the latest APK (android file type) and uploading it to a third party site. We try to quash it as much as we can but it's a never-ending arms race and we're severely outnumbered. That doesn't make it okay or any less against ToS, nor that we don't do anything about it, but we generally do not discuss the measures we take against sideloaders and hackers because we want those protectionary measures to last as long as possible before they're cracked or new workarounds are discovered.

NetEase receives builds long after content has come to Beta or Live, so they don't need to have a Beta for things that were already Beta tested here before releasing to their audience. They're usually a Season behind Global.

Zeryle tgc has no control over multi-BILLION dollar corporations like google and apple. to those two, TGC is a drop in the bucket. Plus even google and apple have no control over local taxes so they still have a limited amount they can do as far as pricing. doubt you'll convince them to get rid of their "piece of the pie" (profit) for the currency exchange.

kai is not about taxes or controlling google, I looked and both have the same percentage applied in taxes, both items should get the same exchange rate if you can see in the same menu, like there's no reason to change them differently more than an error

exchange rates are still way beyond the scope of anything TGC can control though. google, apple, and your country set those rates. tgc doesn't just make up random numbers, they give google $10 for this item and goole adds their profit on it (because they wanna be paid for being the middle man) and your country adds their tax on it. contacting the app store companies likely won't change that because tgc doesn't control google or apple's profits.

look we have 5 items when entering the shop in Office both mischief items and the catch up pack have the same exchange rate, but only the bat cape and the pumpkin hat have a different exchange rate that make them 33% expensier than the other exchange rate, if tgc is receiving the correct amount of USD for each item it means either google is taking a bigger cut out of the last years items or they take a smaller cut in literally all the other IAP cause I know that they are consistent with one exchange rate and I don't think google is taking less money , tgc can ask for consistency cause the contract just have a fixed percentage of money of all the IAP for google iirc it doesn't change between different IAP

I did some reading and I could be wrong so take everything I say with a grain of salt. Google play converts iap based on both currency conversion rates and "market pricing patterns". Meaning when they convert it they could make one item cost more than another based on whatever those patterns are? When we add IAP items to the in-game Shop, we set a base price in USD, for example $9.99, $14.99 and so on. We give this USD price to Google and Apple, since they are the companies that actually handle all of the purchases. Apple and Google then set the prices in things called "tiers" for other regions based off of the exchange rate (each company checks exchange rates at different intervals, so there can sometimes be a difference between Apple and Google pricing) and local/regional taxes. This can include things like VAT, sales tax, consumption tax, luxury tax, or any other applicable tax that is required by law for that region. The tiers determine what portion of the revenue we receive from each purchase, so any pricing discrepancies go to Apple/Google and we receive a flat rate no matter what.

Hopefully that helps clear up some of the confusion about differences between platforms and currencies.

Hmm, I wonder if a krill beam might heat up your phone green if you stuck around too much with a few? I think krill beams might be less resource intensive though than the lantern since it can pass through objects so might be doing less calculations than the lantern light does.

I use an iPad Kai and its certainly heats up but only on a small part of the device, the rest just gets softly warm. Never had any issues with it though beyond being hot. Only gets hot on full graphics and lighting too.

You really have to act quick. The last wind platform needs to throw you over the windwall blocking the final platform, so you have to be quick to go into open wing mode and then closed to get over. Don't know if that helps any

I play one-handed and for me it's mostly a matter of moving my controlling finger on the screen as if I'm drawing the route.

@hollow cloak I'd highly recommend submitting bug reports as you encounter them instead of stockpiling to do a big report. The older a build is, the more likely a bug has either already been fixed, so try and reproduce the bug on the latest build before submitting an out-of-date report.

We've been scrambling to try and figure out if there was a new bug to fixed, but it turns out all those reports were about the original bug that's long since fixed.

yeah, you and i didn't work as far as i'm aware since you and i are two pins and you would teleport to the person with the other pin. because there wans't another pin to teleport to when using spells, it didn't work. but there are the isle and prairie teleport spells.

A while ago if you were reborn and had no wing buffs and skipped orbit star you would be sent to pity room but then be returned to home constellation plate after a few seconds. Easy way to go capeless in the realms with no help. Not sure if its still in game, I got a wing buff since then since I needed chibi mask for testing.

There might be an exploit fix for yeeting people with the table without their consent, but it might be working incorrectly or eating table spells upon use. Left it out of patch notes because it's likely to be reverted and implemented in a better fashion to prevent munching spells.

the spirits can actually still recharge your light while they're being relived, but they don't anymore when they're dormant

Some spirits still recharge you last I checked, I think it depends on the spirit type. The most common one where you activate it and chase after each scene doesn't recharge you in its stationary before lit state.

it used to recharge like the belonging red cape and green cape, with the inside charging last, and now it recharges like other capes.

When your cape recharges it has that glowing effect that looks like a chameleon changing colors from the top to the bottom in a line. On the web cape, the entire inside would flash with that texture all at once.
