that's really the cool thing about sky is that the IAPs are purely cosmetic. no gacha where you don't know what you're getting, no utility in game so it doesn't give you an advantage over other players. so it is sad to miss out on something cute but ultimately you can still play every aspect of the game fully freely without needing to buy it 
also the people who are buying those cosmetics are making it possible for the free players to keep playing for free so it's a win win

lemme see i I can find the side by side comparison. glow spell was brighter further is probably better wording. lantern has a fading flow effect that goes out a ways but the brightest part of glow spell went out furrther

I wanted to edit them together back then, but I have no idea what ipad app is able to put videos next to each other. (i'm usually too lazy to use laptop or pc) If you have any suggestions I could use it in the future to make comparison vids from things we test in beta.

Aah, I've just helped a random player ( and befriended them ) go through the fire trial. Honestly, fire trial's difficulty didn't go down much, but it was fun and touching to say at least
We kept pushing and pushing, I kept coming back to get them, guiding them once I got to the next checkpoint. I thought we weren't gonna make it cause I raged last time I went there. But we did, and glad I didn't quit.
It took about two hours to finish, definitely a new record on my book.
Once we reached the end, we unlocked chat. They thanked me for not giving up on them and I realized how powerfull this trial really is, by spirit ( I was a checkpoint further, untill I befriended them )
Fire trial might be difficult, but is definitely one very memorable place to find a friend

So when unlocked a seasonal spirit's final seasonal heart - it didn't add it to my inventory. I have 2 seasonal spirits fully unlocked, but only 1 of the seasonal hearts was added to my inventory. Because of this I can't use the hearts to unlock the first seasonal gift - which means I won't be able to unlock the ultimate gift. I did report the bug. Question: because this is beta am I hosed at getting credit for that and being able to experience/test unlocking that final gift?

@dapper ginkgo controller functionality is good, but is only about 80% there for smooth performance. As for the boats, because you are using a button for actions, the default action is performed on the button that is highlighted. When a boat gets in the way, it's icon is the focused item instead of the button you want (like the warp button when in that circle in the water). You either have to cycle through all the buttons to get to the one you want, use the touchscreen for that action, or hide boats as they get in the way.

One handed mode had their chibi fall disabled, no lie, I used to main one handed mode, and when i wanted to learn chibi fall I had to get used to two handed mode, it was hard but now i cant imagine one handed anymore

I always made friends via candles. It's definitely harder now, but also due to the TS system and people not wanting to use candles on anything else. I miss the honk radar a lot and also feel it made the game feel emptier. You do know you can still give #live-feedback about it? Sometimes it needs to be in the game for a while before we can properly assess what changes it brought.

Prior to Patch 0.9.2 when you tapped on your player character, a star icon would appear, revealing all players in the level to you. In Patch 0.9.2, this was changed to only reveal players you were friends or acquaintances (lit their candle/no longer appear grey) however this change was not working correctly. When you used a call, it would also show an eye icon, allowing you to automatically follow another player, regardless of their status as friend, acquaintance, or stranger. After patch 0.9.2, you can now only auto-follow players you are friends with.
Patch 0.9.3 and Patch 0.9.4 changes now correctly reveal friends and acquaintances when you call (shout). When using a deep call (charged shout) it will reveal your location to others players, friends, acquaintances, and strangers alike.
The goal of these changes was to prevent players from engaging in poorly intentioned behavior, such as griefing, and allow for more consent-driven interactions between players who have not made friends. We will continue to monitor the impact of these changes and welcome your thoughts on these changes and how they affect the community.

I'd say, the shipwreck winged light on the wall(and even that one you can see from the ship)

I was able to watch the dm'd video on my phone! basic description: skykid standing in home space. open up emotes menu and place a table over skykid. skykid and table both teleport to the other side of homespace
I assume that what you did was place the table on the other side of home space and wait for the cooldown then placed the table over your skykid to teleport?

Yep, just managed a second time. You sit just before closing the emote menu. Tabke reverts to its original position and you're sat on it. Note you need to have had line of site for placing the table where you want to go. So no risk of any sneaking into the secret place with this one.

There are certain sizes of resize which seem to make the character unable to sit and make the glitch work, and the only two I’ve found so far are below average height. Strangely enough although it doesn’t work with both of the below average heights my character resized to (I’m stuck like this in beta now ), it works with chibi

PSA nicknames aren't as effective as you might think. I know it's well-intentioned, but it's not too difficult to just answer a question or help clear up confusion. I know answering the same question repeatedly can be irritating and frustrating so taking shortcuts are attractive, but if you need to resort to passive aggressive measures to answer frequent questions, it's probably time to step away and take a break and let others answer the person.

There's a ton of play between textures and lighting in the game engine.

It is a neat effect, but it's not great and inconsistent, like I said earlier, if we're going to have items that change dynamically based on the other items you're wearing we want to do it intentionally and do it well. Not just let a janky version of the concept slip by.

@worthy gate you get normal hearts from completing the trials, and seasonal ones from completing the spirits' constellations, so basically yes, you can leave them unfinished
