I've explicitly gone over why there are release time discrepancies many times every time we release a build. We're not going to hold iOS release to wait for Google. It's a testing ground, the more play time the better. Beta is for us to collect data, not a flex war over who gets a hold of the new build first.

A few candles difference shouldn't really impact androids people's testing capability nor IOS people who are sneeping once the updates all come through. Just my thoughts though, I could be wrong.

Let me be ever so slightly more clear about how releasing builds works:

🔹 We upload the beta builds to Apple and Google at the exact same time
🔹 When it's late at night, we set them to release automatically so the poor engineers don't have to be awake til 2am or later in their respective time zone for testing to begin
🔹 Apple and Google are two completely separate corporate entities with very different structures and policies in place for how test builds are reviewed, processed, approved, and released
🔹 Once we push the button, it's out of our hands on how long it takes each respective platform to process and appear in their respective app stores

Raf, Google has to test an app for known vulnerabilities on versions of Android the app targets. I.E. sky targets the lowest API for Android 8.0, so any phone that is on that old of Android can be vulnerable to things like meltdown or spectre. Google runs the app on its end and ensures there is no known malicious code in it before approving for release.

Speaking of reset, I thought I'd share this: at my internship place, since it's a japanese company they have those japanese tunes that plays at specific times(like lunch hour, out of office hours etc.), one of which is during reset time for sky. So when the music plays I knew that it was reset time

level 1 and 2 of fire trial changed a lot. the environment and the lanterns are different now. it looks extremely amazing, kinda reminds me of a rocky cliff area. but its ridiculously hard now (at least for me). Level 3 have 0 changes except there are many more krill farts than i remember

Ugh. I think the Crab Call/Deep Call spell may be worse than previously thought. I just had a seemingly-random crash in an area where I knew crabs had previously been flipped. I suspect that one must have flipped back, and in so doing, crashed the game again: it's the mere fact of a crab flipping over, rather than the calls themselves. Haven't reported yet; still gathering more proof.

Trial of Earth - The maze is hard as you think but it’s harder when you sink, you went to direction to direction, and you were bound to give up but you were ** resilient* to pass it, and win it*

Trial of Air - As you hop and hop to tiny rocks on land, you slip and fall but it doesn’t make you call for help, you got up again as what you gain, you were light as a feather and it made you balanced through out of the trial.

Trial of Fire - This is the last trial but will you try passing it? You lit up every candle you find, recovering yourself from the darkness, as you go to level to level, hollow creatures lurk in the dark, careful now or else you’ll lose it. Afraid enough to go but courage had gained upon you to pass it to the very end.

Congratulations skychild you pass all of the trials til the very last. Your honour is to see the murals of the past, will there be another one to accomplished these tasks? The elements will lie down here in the Isle of dawn until it lies down to rest.

OK, finished my bug reports. People for the Ethical Treatment of Crabs requests that you not flip crabs at all in this build. Not only will it crash your game and all the games around you, it also creates landmines for the people after you: the flipped crabs will crash the games of everyone around them when they unflip.

@frozen onyx I don't think it's a simultaniety thing. It seems as though just being in the vicinity of a a flipping or unflipping crab causes the game to crash. The spells themselves might not be to blame (except that they cause crabs to flip).

These white loop of death issues are most likely due to wrong respawn coordinates. It happened to me in trial of water also, I'd respawn on the side of the snow hill and slide back down into the water.

I realised why so many of these trials don't seem to work for me: the camera keeps angling itself up, so that I can't judge the distance or direction I'm supposed to be moving. I have to continually adjust it to give me more of a top-down view, but as I keep moving it changes back and then I fall off or take a wrong step.

I've seen in earlier iterations of the water trial how you cab still survive in extremely shallow water. But that seems to have been tightened up a LOT in the latest version.

Evinsky, yes I included a video to show how difficult it is and to suggest it may have to do with me using one-handed mode. It's not possible for me to create momentum by running and then jumping, as well as turning the camera to jump in the correct direction.

I do agree with remarks about the general direction of the challenge, there are candles everywhere and it gets confusing, especially near the end of P2 and in P3. I must also admit that I'm very happy with the art changes as the impression of being in a dark and cold cave are really well achieved.

On one crab crash, I noticed new ones were still being stunned a few seconds after I used the stun. I'm wondering whether the code got stuck in a loop that ultimately caused the crash. Unfortunately you can also get a wastelands crash when nobody in your group used the stun.

I was kinda hoping it meant the same thing, but the king figures are placed beneath an elder which in every other mural/cave painting denotes the elders are “above” the lesser figures below them.
