@silent ingot portrait mode is only in ios. Go into the in game settings and you should be able to unlock rotation. Rotate your device and lock it back in. I'm not 100% sure tho cause I'm an Android player. Now im gonna go see the new update for myself before I go to school

Tip: when the app told me to update, it lead me to "leave testing program" screen. Do NOT click that, update trough Google Play app instead. Worked for me

People can preview the cosmetics (incuding the ultimate gift) in the closet, which is why theres already screenshots and comments about them. But if you see someone with the ultimate gifts on (especially the mask) in-game its hacks, since the final spirit isn't even out so people literally cannot get all the hearts needed to complete it

It isn't necessarily hacking that some players have a lot of cosmetics. Some players did not have their candles converted from Sanctuary, when there was a bug with the shop, which let you by endless amounts of passes.

I really love the monochromatic palette and the simplicity of the environment. Probably the shapes and colors are designed like this to make you feel a specific way

@spark lance the pricing of travelling spirits gets discussed a LOT. Part of the reason they're so expensive is because they're also bringing back adventure pass exclusive items which people paid real money to obtain. I think the devs did the best they could to work a compromise between new players who didn't experience the season and players who paid for the items. (sorry for slow reply)

In the first part, look around for lanterns. Rush to them as the water level falls and light them, the ground will rise up.
Later on, you should look around when the water rises for the nearest ridge or floating platform that stays above the water.

Basically just figure out where the next safe spot is, and rush there once the water falls

@unique flint there was a beta access wipe a couple days ago. You had to rejoin beta again with invites posted in #beta-signup-info (which are done for this season). If you didn’t do that, then you won’t be able to update your game as you’re no longer a tester
The app will remain on your device tho, you just won’t be able to play or update before you’re a tester again.

The trials are amazing.. I had voice chat with a new friend and so funny hearing them scream on the part of earth trials where you have to hot foot it to the rising blocks.... ...as far as beta testing I have had many visual bugs in other realms like rain paused in mid air in wasteland and earth trials...
Iam so jaw dropped at what tgc have done... they are the best and the future of sky is going to rock the gaming world to its core 🤍 triumph looks awesome just a few texture errors and same with wasteland.. they have done work on other realms which amazes me even more

Or you can go in with a friend that you have warp unlocked with and you can just warp to your friend.

That’s a cheap way to get through but it works on all the trials as long as you and your friend don’t get session split.

I’d take your time and relax. Thankfully there isn’t a time cap, so you can take as long as you want.
Edit: I’ve seen a lot of games have difficult levels and have like a 10/15 minute time but the level is wayy to hard and you fail it

all i did was fall down in the earth trial and i got teleported to the area where you parkour then go up the stairs but earlier than that me and my friend poofed away from each other and i was the only one who managed to finish 😔

Earth was a tricky one for me too. I had to start over once with clear head. My suggestion is watch the animations those are kinda show you the way. Pretty hard tho when a lot of people is there and everyone is in a different part of the maze.

Water trial was SO FUN. It took a lot of waiting, doubling back, and frantically dragging my friends across quickly rising water, but it was worth it. I don't know if I can, but if I can redo trials, I'd do it just for fun.

If you are interested in helping with testing, doing bug reports and actually helping improving the game, you can join in the future when more beta invites come out! For now, the beta it's full and there's no way to join it.

Forgot to mention this but also, you need to have a lot of patience, beta it's a territory to test, serious bugs can appear, leading to not be able to play the game for some time, things like the intro scene bug or the server problems. Beta it's not an exclusive app to get the things for free or in advance, it's important for improving the game. (It wouldn't let me edit the message lol)

@karmic wigeon You need to play through more of the beta to gain access. I think the cave has the anvil constellation on the spirit gate, so you need to get at least 3 ancestor spirits from the forest and visit the forest temple before you can enter
