I found that you can delay the season intro by flying as soon as you can! As long as you don't touch the ground, you'll have plenty of time to fly into the portal of your choosing.

I managed to get into prairie and fly to isle that way. Took a while to break through the wind wall, but eventually I got there. It was just me and a handful of other Sky kids flying around and honking at each other. Couldn’t for the life of me find anything new.

@potent comet I get your enthusiasm, but you’re not really missing out on much, friend. Beta’s in the same build as live at the moment so there’s no new content, and even if we do get early access to new features, a lot of the content we get is buggy, incomplete and are still works in progress, which is where we testers do our jobs to find and squash those pesky bugs so our friends, you included, in live get to enjoy the game stress-free.

On top of that, the servers are much lonelier in beta than they are in live.

there is something i realise while trying to find the new area (that doesn't exit for now but i didn't know it at first),

because i was looking in every corner of the map, i think we really forget how isle is absolutely beautiful, i even managed to get the same vibes as when i started the live version

Remember to fly up immediately after the pressing the play button. The cutscene won't activate unless you're on the ground :) You can play that way, but remember the seasonal area is not loaded yet.

good morning all. I see we're back to spamming posting and therefore we're at 15 minute slowmode again (I know we we're down to 5min when I went to sleep ) anyways if you're experience crashing, check #beta-known-issues and #beta-announcements. The crash is probably affecting everyone. I normally don't get crashes even when most users are and I still crashed. Cutscene triggers within seconds of opening the game, I can't even yeet to the closest portal. Just be patient and play live in the mean time. We'll be notified in #beta-announcements when the next build is available and they've found a fix for the crashing

@random gull just in case you haven't seen it: if you manage to jump and fly into the air before the cutscene triggers, it won't activate until you touch the ground; try boosting into the air (literally start trying to jump right after you press the "Play" button) then flying into a portal rather than sprinting for one if you want do beta testing/collect beta candles

For people who try to search new map in isle, I think the teleportation (to the new map) will work when you're done with the intro, but since the intro bug and you skip it, teleportation failed to activate. So dont waste your time ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Alright doesn’t seem like anyone has said this yet. Even IF you manage to skip the seasons cutscene and jump in Isle. The new season WONT be there guys. Already tried it. Pointless in trying anything until bug is fixed
@spark lance I think the teleportation (to the new map for season) will work when you're done with the intro, but since the intro bug and you skip it, the teleportation that will bring you to the new map failed to activate. I didn't know if you'll understand(doesn't matter ¯(°_o)/¯), I just hope this help to explain.

There will be a new season to test eventually. There isn't one right now. There's a trigger in the game currently for a season cutscene, but the absence of the assets for the season means the game crashes when the cutscene is triggered.

After the reset, I left and rejoined (during one of the waves), redownloaded the app, and for some reason I am not a moth. Guys, just a suggestion: keep the #beta-announcements active/notifications on. Everything (news, bugs, etc.) will be place there. Before starts to play BETA, you can check how things is working (if you don’t speak english, copy and paste at translator) and go ahead without stress or surprises. It’s a good way to make a beta experience much more healthy, fun and less chaotic/confusing. Read slowly, if you have doubts, you can ask here or fir friends.

The same way, as soon the bugs are fixed, they will update there.

By the way, to fix things, it takes time. Be pacient and kind with everyone.

Since we need to wait for next update (and it seems some android players still can’t play yet), have a theory to hold you over

A theory on the next season based on my observations of the season symbol

So, we know that the constellation for each season matches the season’s symbol, right? Well, the symbol here is a star with 4 main points, with a dot in the center. In the teaser image, there were 5 spirits, and there are 5 major points on the symbol.
People have been speculating the possibility of a hidden sixth spirit to match the amount of other seasons- but what if this one really does only have five? That’s what I think.

Also, it’s interesting that from what we see of the intro, it seems it’ll have something to do with isle
Isle does need more love, so it’s nice
