The staff of TCG can’t see the future either. I doubt they started the whole season things knowing there will be a pressure from newer players to bring back cosmetics. And since every new game has to build it’s players base i guess it means more ppl who want the cosmetics now than the complaining old players. It’s probably better for them financially (buying candles) too and also ts are engaging players in off season weeks too.

I do candle runs just because I wait for the new season to come - Idk why but I feel like I want more the new areas than old spirits etc. Plus, I can stop CRs when I can have the style I have in mind and then focusing on trading hearts with my active friends

I feel like the game should be played also by older people because it's a beautiful experience for everyone! The entire concept makes the game great to play. I sometimes log randomly and start wandering in isle or other places, or flying above homespace

the news is probably not why the shop disappeared. I think the channels for live version of sky were going through some discussions of the travelling spirits when beta was. it all boils down to older players are grumpy because they expected the items to be exclusive and it wasn't communicated well enough that the season pass was to get easy and immediate access to those items. Sky devs don't plan on taking the TS away or going back on their word about bring the ultimate gifts back "in some fashion". we really don't know what the shop in beta was planned for and might not have had anything to do with TS or ultimates

If the whole season could be sold in office it would probably be more than founders pack, I’d say probably around 35 dollars per season since it’s so much stuff. Unless you only get cosmetics and not emotes/spells

I've probably spent a couple hundred myself I can say from the perspective of both having bought multiple season passes and from having missed seasons: I am happy the devs are bringing things back. I think they worked a good compromise so far

If you don’t get the pass you have to wait ages for all those spirits to come back around, TS are random and the more seasons that pass the more rare specific TS will become

Getting the pass guarantees you can get all the things in one season while the season is active instead of having to wait

The first one (hopefully a functional item like campfire or an instrument) could be purchasable later in the way they want. The second one could be an exclusive item mostly cosmetics. that's because of ODR. the game was hovering in the 700s to 800s MB before they added sanctuary but now it's between 900 MB to 1.01 GB so having a small download package that downloads additional resources after you're able to open the game is the goal with ODR. except a lot can't open the game until everything's downloaded anyways so it's just creating confusion

Group 1: “why should newer players be able to get the pass for less RL money than we did”

Group 2: “It should actually cost less for us new players, because it doesn’t come with rest of the benefits of a pass”

well geyseres are the real mvps... i tested it and you can definitely leave the area by using a geyser to launch you and you need 2-3 flaps once ili reach the island near exit (wax and wl island)

Enchantment had a lot of capes so of course some of them would be free to all, and rhythm had a lot of pants so at least one was free, but only the hats in enchantment were non pass and both capes in rhythm were pass locked so I guess it depends

I played the previous seasons, the ! quests usually requires us to wait for few days.

its beta, thats why theyre all completable in one day. the same thing happened for enchantment in beta.

I still don't get back my season heart I've changed the drum with 3 season heart before it release, after released the drum and manta cape, it shows that I didn't change for the drum yet, and the 3 heart also didn't return so regret for my curiosity before the drum release

@spark lance i dunno why you guys keep saying this. The point of the beta testing is not just to report bugs. It is also important to see that bugs are being fixed before the content goes live. You can’t stop people from getting frustrated especially if they are spending their time to help the devs improve the game. It’s not really the stuff they are after for, I think more importantly, people want to get a sense of assurance that when things like this happen in the live version, we know that it’ll get fixed. Let people enjoy beta as much as they enjoy the live game if they want to.

that said, this issue is the reason the #beta-known-issues channel was created, and as minou said, TGC already acknowledged the bug with the seasonal hearts there.
it can be a little tough to report bugs and hear nothing about it for weeks or months, until one day it sudenly gets fixed (or never gets fixed, which is very possible, if the bug is tough to fix or just not a high priority). this is something that many of the testers here have gotten used to.
i hope y'all remember that reporting these bugs makes a huge difference, even if it can be hard to tell that TGC is listening (and they are listening)

For beta players that enjoy collecting season cosmetics, I can understand the frustration - however, I feel that it’s good to distance yourself from your BETA account, as there is no guarantee that you will keep them forever - item wipes are a real possibility, and BETA is more for testing different seasons, events, items, and areas. Keep in mind that we don't know what the devs have to do to fix things. Bug fixing is not easy, and I have very limited experience with coding, I can't imagine trying to find a solution to this many bugs in a whole game
Also, even as testers, we don't get to test everything. For example, we never tested the days of healing pack before it was released. Maybe the devs have already found solutions who knows

Generally, from what I understand about debugging, the devs need to be able to reproduce the issue in order to pinpoint what went wrong (in the coding). That is why it's important to state the steps to how it happened when you report a bug.

I've met mostly Chinese players, and I have one Japanese friend. It seems to work ok? But a little rough. I can still understand them fine though. The issue is the other player usually didn't know how to use the translator... so they just used their own.

I also have a translator that can also convert my text into the other person's language, so I prefer to use that instead

Ok. 1. So, first you need to talk to the quest giver, who shows you a clue.
2. The clue itself is a place in the area with a bunch of candles. When you walk close to the candles a mural shows up with a map.
3. The map shows where the bell is. When you find the corresponding bell there will be a call symbol that you need to press to "unlock" what the quest giver wants back.
4. Then you head back to the quest giver and complete the quest.

Does that make sense? I think for the quests to become easier to do, you will need to explore and memorise the new area a bit. Some of the clue maps and the bells are hidden inside islands, for example.

When the quest giver shows the clue, the camera pans out and tells you the general area you should be looking in. It's important to remember that you're looking for a map first and the bell second.
