Bruh the recharge quest is the worst thing ever. Not many players online, if they are they will generally ignore you. And even if some amazing people who are willing to do the quest with u, somehow the quest still won't be completed when you charge their light for several times.

Yeah, Android is having some known issues explained in #beta-faq. You have to wait unfortunately until Google recognises you as a tester

Saw some people getting annoyed at the recharge light quest above- for those who need it, a more foolproof way of getting it I’ve found is going through any portal/server switch with someone. Works almost every time compared to the more elusive flying up and recharging way.

Sorry I'm late, but essa, you don't have to do runs on both apps if you don't have time. I don't go on Eden runs in beta, and sometimes don't even go on candle runs for beta. In fact, most of the time I only go on beta to bug hunt and then leave. I prioritize live, but I do hop on beta. But if you want to delete beta, as long as you don't leave and still have access you can still get your progress back. Same for live, as long as you link account and save your id I guess.

there's settings > sky (beta) > preferred language on ios (dunno how it works on android) to change the language of just the beta app. Keep in mind that some languages don't have the updated versions of the names (this feature was tested before)

Like hide and seek, the initiator would be the catcher and the players who join are runners. When the players join the game, they are frozen in place until the countdown ends.
Once the countdown ends, the runners will be released.
The runners would have a short head start, similar to the hide and seek game.
After the countdown, the catcher is released and the runners get a movement nerf ( they become slower) which gives the catcher a higher chance of catching them.

Just like hide and seek the runners will get notified of the catchers location.
The role of the catcher will spread as more and more runners are caught. If the catchers are unable to catch all the runners in the given time, the runners win. And if the catchers catch all the runners, the catchers win.

As more and more runners are caught, the movement speed of the remaining runners becomes faster, so as to balance the runners chance of winning later in the game.

I was doing a chart and I realised that for the jellyfish call spirit, the node with 'expression - expression' is actually fair because it's followed by a node with 'music sheet - pants'. Normally the items go 'expression - item' or 'item-expression' everytime. So yeah for everyone who felt that the specific 'expression - expression' node of the jelly fish call was unfair, im just pointing out that it wasnt really, it was pretty normal, just not used to see that 'set' of nodes.

Some people like to collect everything, whether they like the cosmetics or not. Others only buy what they will be actively using. That’s why it’s so great that most things in Sky only use in game currency.

I would like to add that the main drawback of the new location is the lack of the ability to return back to the daylight prairie without making a full circle. Which it really time consuming especially for ppl who farm everyday.

Perhaps they could add a portal / geyser that brings you back to the beginning.

it's a problem on Google's end. if you've tried all of the troubleshooting steps in #beta-faq then you've done everything you can as an individual. devs have said contacting google doesn't really do anything either cuz google blames TGC

@spark lance yeah like 3 or 4 TOPS. Consider the fact that the underground cave in forest isn’t very big and gave us 4 but then the Arc area is HUGE and only gave us 2 new ones. When I counted to 7 in Sanctuary, I was floored.

I do wish that some of the lower outer islands had plants or candles on them, even small ones, so we would have a reason to visit every part during daily runs.

I mean, the f2p travelers are still extremely expensive in free currency. It’s not a bargain. If the ultimates come back as f2p as well, expect them to have ridiculous prices. If ultimates come back as an option requiring real money and people are still against it for whatever money they spent before or “exclusivity,” it’s mostly pretentious entitlement at that point. We’ll have to wait and see.

I don't think neither TS nor any other shop with in game currency that requires a lot of grinding is a good idea, simply because it creates a culture of...well, grinding and trading. Just look at the hysteria every time a new TS is announced. I am disappointed and surprised that TGC is going this way with a game that was initially launched as an altruistic friendship space, but perhaps it's more governed by player interactions and feedback now.

Ummm how is that dedication? We bought the pass early and didnt have to do much except seasonals missions to get the items we wanted. They have to go through hours of candle running OR buy IAP candles which returns to the same. TS are usually 120 ish candles, that pack is like 20 USD? And the efforts and dedication as well as emotional struggle to get all the candles if you don't have any candles saved up, is the same.

Tbh, if you’re that concerned of the efforts of what past season pass holders have put in, give the feedback to TGC. At this point it’s just an opinion. I’ve bought every season after Gratitude so far, and I’m honestly glad new players can get what I’ve been able to, even if that includes ultimates, I don’t care. I would not like having hordes of “exclusive” content that new players would never have a chance of having, and would only grow with each passing season. Most of the travelers have costed 100+ candles altogether, and that’s only for a single spirit. If it took dedication in the original season, it takes dedication now to grind 100+ candles, hearts, and keeping in mind possibly spending those on friends or hearts the whole time. All for one spirit. Even with ultimates I don’t see a reason new players shouldn’t get them. I use the bonfire every day, it’s one of the best items in the game. I’d like more than the small group of people who played belonging to have the chance to use it.

I would like to just point out that whatever TGC does is for fairness and are according to feedback they got. It means there are enough people who are willing to do extensive stuff to get things they could not get back then. It's not their fault for joining late and being unaware of Sky: Children of the Light 's existence.
I bought all passes and got all ultimate gifts except from gratitude, but knowing that my friends can get the umbrella or campfire which most of them missed makes me really happy. As Skycat said, it ends up just being opinions there.
TGC will always consider the stronger and fairer opinions. If they end up bringing back ultimates ,it will be in beta first, the decision they will make accordingly will be according to our feedback. So let's all just agree to disagree here.
