also tbh i think there have been hella dangerous spirit paths in the past, like don't go and crab call spirits, so an eden area might only be ramping it up a little

Also there are several emotes you can spam to make krill ignore you, my personal favorite to use is the levitate one, you don't lose light from polluted water while levitating- that's how i burn battlefield plant without table... Levitate+hold friend candle, if krill see you click the levitate emote twice and they leave you alone 🙂

Because the cape has now won some ground in the community, people think it is or will be in Live. But it is not and will most likely never be. That's why it's important to point out that it will not impact your ability to complete the Forest constellation in Live, but it will in beta as long as it's the placeholder for the invisicape.

I will say, I’ve recently started playing on a second device, and when I submit feedback from my iPad, it doesn’t give me any indication that the message went through — but if I check my phone, I will see that I got a notification that my message was received. Maybe it is a Discord issue?

@vast mortar i can speak for iOS! just make sure she is using the same Apple ID on both devices, and it should register that Testflight has been downloaded on your ID (by showing as a cloud with an arrow, rather than “get”). Once she downloads Testflight on the second device and installs the beta app, if she has made any progress at all on her first device, tell her to make sure she links her account via GameCenter or another method (like Google).

The most i do in beta is get the seasonal candles and quests everyday and while im at it candle run the realm they're at. We dont know if we will get to keep what we have indifinetly like in live, so have fun! Got 3 resize potions? Use them! It doesnt matter how you look like or how tall you are (sometimes) to test stuff out. Go crazy with it!

you just need to wait until the whole thing lights up before you move onto the next node, the eden door isnt hard to open. it might be connection issues otherwise.

TGC fixed the 3 red candles in forest (near the cave of crabs) that weren’t giving out wax not too long ago. They didn’t get fixed for many months.

I will have 3 tomorrow! my maths: so everyone got reset to 20 candles on June 20th. I did not have a season pass so I bought one on that day and had 40 candles. over the past five days I've earned 55 seasonal candles (11 each day). need 97 candles for the 3 cheapest spirits. This is about the quest cutscenes. I love the quests and they are so fun! But if I look up for one second and miss the cutscene, there is no way for me to rewatch it and this leaves me completely lost since I have absolutely no idea where to go. I think you should give an option to rewatch the cutscene or leave a little hint that the quest giver will give you when you press on them. This would help so much. Thank you!

I also notice through a big that made me re do the collection (without obtaining nothing of course) that the star who point the spirit you are collecting is located on the quest giver instead of the right spirit. No they are not seasonal hearts, not meant to be seasonal hearts nor will ever be seasonal hearts from the questgiver for the story quests. Seasonal hearts come from the seasonal spirits themselves and are used to unlock the ultimate gift(s) for 100% completion of the seasonal constellation.
The system resembles that of the enchantment colored light quests, which aren't technically seasonal content since they persist after the season has ended.

Nope, just regular hearts like Enchantment’s quest giver. To purchase seasonal hearts you need to get them from the top of the cost trees of the other Seasonal Spirits (edit: ktjn went nyoom.)

Ohh thank you. I was associating the names with the emotes and cosmetics first, since most of the times i don’t really remember the spirit stories if they are not in daily quests too. Usually I’m more concerned about relieving the spirit without ending up as a pile of crab food, and probably miss the story if I’m doing it alone. 😫 Glad I’ll have the chance to do it again in live.

For seasonal items people try to collect those a little more than regular items because it's important to test new things. It's easier to earn candles so it's easier to collect them. Like right now the jellyfish hair clips into caps especially on short skykids so it's good feedback to give the devs when we see stuff like that

If you don't see it as grinding, that's totally okay, I don't want to talk down or invalidate things you find fun and engaging, but for a lot of people the high cost of items on traveling spirits equates to a lot of grinding that many people don't find fun and we want to be very clear in communicating that tremendous amounts of grinding are not expected. It's an incredible privilege to have so many eager folks to help test, but it's important to not take advantage of that generosity.

If they can’t update to 0.10.0 it might be they had their access wiped and never got back in. The access wipe was around one of the 0.9.5 beta builds.
@half chasm If you’re playing on an older beta version I’d advise against bug reporting. A lot of beta bugs get fixed in consecutive builds, so many bugs you find in an older version may already be addressed in whatever the current beta version is.

Orenji, we have had one progress wipe, which happened just before iOS release. It was to test the new currency system. Wiping players' progress is probably not going to happen again, unless TGC really needs us to test from scratch again. Currently, beta is mostly used for testing the new seasons. (Although, there were many progress wipes during early beta, but I will disregard those for this reply.)

Please don't blame TGC or anyone really. If there's an error, it's best to have patience and confidence that it'll be fixed soon! Even if sorting out these android testers is top priotiry, people still need time to work on it! 
Also emailing google isn't likely to solve any problem. Both TGC and google are aware of this, best to just wait.

Hey people! About the android problem. I know a person with android that couldn’t get beta for the longest time, bc google was super slow. She was only able to download the app last week or the week before last week. Google just randomly lets people download beta at some point I think. I once found someone who couldnt get past the spirit barrier in prarie (beta moth) i became their friend and started showing them a way around that barrier (through the clouds). Usually when im with a real moth i would never do that because im scared of messing up their first impression of sky with rad oob stuff

Here‘s a fun beta story: my friend and I were running eden last night, and this cute „moth“ befriended us at the entrance — this „moth“ went with us from start thru orbit, and we finally talked before being reborn. She was a super cool person and has been playing live much longer than I have. XD
we also found out that we are all three artists, so we ended up posing together in salute pose and taking pics together

The white candles in the isle temple still give wax, the white candles at one of the trees in vault gives wax, and the candles that trigger the meditation circles in Isle, Forest (iirc), Wasteland, and Vault.

While on the topic of the red Sanctuary quest candles: if they are indeed red to make them more prominent, how about another color than red to separate candles that is supposed to give light (red) with white activation candles? Although that might be quite confusing as well for new players seeing essentially 3 candle colors, 2 of which serves the activation purpose.

Many android players are now having an issue with downloading the beta version, please read the notes on #beta-faq , if non of the steps work then please be patient while tgc tries to fix the issue with google.
Many of us are waiting to download the beta, we all need to be patient as it will take some days to get it fixed

Yeah, i got lucky and entered on the first wave, when i opened the link it would tell me the beta program wasnt open, but then i tried opening the link with another browser that wast google chrome and it let me become a beta tester
THEN i tapped on the link to the play store to download the game and it didnt let me, i went back to the home screen and manually searched it and THEN it let me download
It was the most nerve wrecking 3 minutes of my LIFE

That link shows you the apps that have access to your google account (your email), if you have your sky account linked with google play, its normal that it shows me when i first gave it permssion on live

Don’t waste your data. I think you will still be a tester no matter if you uninstall the game. unless you press stop testing or whatever it says on google . In ios there is a stop testing button so if I don’t press it I will still be a tester. Unless tgc wipe all access.

Its not about being or not being a tester, its about being able to download the game, most of the people who cant download the game are part of the beta program

What is interesting is that since TGC wiped all access to people with beta before June 11th. So if your account says you're linked before that date, I'm not sure if it would grant access normally.
Since you downloaded so quickly after getting access, you may of fallen in a sort of loophole where you had access, but google's server didn't update quick enough to revoke your access

No, but, that link doesnt show when you gain access to the beta program. It shows when you gave permssion to google to use your account

Since it detect both the live and beta version as the same, it tells me when i first gave permssion on my live sky app aka 14th of april
Most people probably linked their accounts to google closely after downloading the live version too, hence why the wrong date
