it's good if you want to find bugs, however just know that Beta is not a substitute for the live game. Any progress you made could easily be swiped when the devs see fit. Like when our bugged currency was taken away lol

That may be an oversimplication, @dreamy moth. Beta is more difficult because of bugs and fewer players, yet. The main objective is looking for bugs, not goofing off, yes. And there is no specific reward given by TGC to beta players, true. A lot of people have misconceptions opposite to all of this, so people really try to drive home that the purpose is different and the feeling you get from playing beta is different from live.

I want the Questgiver’s hang drum/handpan, but the icons haven’t been made for either of the ultimate gifts, so it’ll be a shot in the dark regarding purchasing the ultimate gifts until another update rolls out that gives said items their respective icons.

Like someone else said above, you can find beta content online and enjoy it to your hearts content, but technically being a beta tester is in the name: you're a tester. You're supposed to find bugs and report and help the community. Not to be over-dramatic, but that's a privilege.

@lean snow to my knowledge there's no way to get candles any faster in beta than you would in live because the experience is meant to be similar in both (with minor changes to make stuff easier- double hearts, seasonal candle bunches giving more). In general though there's no real need to grind for candles in beta

the update wiped out everyone's candles and reset you to 20 seasonal and 50 regular (unless you had less in which case you had whatever number of candles you had before the update). you get more seasonal candles by completing the daily quests and by finding 4 seasonal candle bunches in the realm where the daily quests are

I think if you had over 50 candles it was lowered down to 50. If you had less than 50 candles nothing changed, it did not raise your candle count. The latter happened to me

@ember fiber you might already have the season pass if you can't buy one. for the quest giver in home space: the season icon will show you the bell quests you've completed so far and the exclamation point will show you the daily quests. the quest giver in the new area just gives you the bell quests which are story related and give hearts as rewards not candles.

@ember fiber sorry I needed to wait one minute for slowmode to reply. that is the seasonal ultimate gift part 1 of 2 (the other part will also be 3 hearts). You get the seasonal hearts by buying all the items in a spirit's tree and buying the heart at the very top. you need to click the exlcamation point above the seasonal icon to get daily quests

Justa heads up: this is actually pretty normal for beta They release the maps and updates as they’re completed to a presentable level, and there will always be some things/features/items that haven’t been completed yet and there will be bugs as well. So there’s no need to panic or wonder if there’s something wrong on your end. It’s just how it goes. If something seems like a bug, feel free to report it.
