I was confused about the patch notes about stepping mode too. I always play two handed mode and I’ve been using the step since it was first introduced as “hula hoop” mode a LONG time ago. It’s very useful for accurately positioning your sky kid for photos. I thought the patch notes implied something was changed about it and I was trying to figure it out for a while , then I just gave up.

If you have the older build, you will find the difference. 0.9.1 will need to long press the legs in two hand mode, often I got into chirps and a little buggy in between.
0.9.2 just polished that function
I tend to get creative with that function during exploring, although Flashman and others did mentioned that is for positioning in photo session, which is a convenience too

Oh I see the difference now. In Live all you have to do is drag off your characters legs to activate step mode. In beta you have to hold down on them for a little while before it will activate.
I much prefer the ease of the way it is in Live , not having to hold down. It’s instant.

I’m guessing that the change is something to do with portrait mode and the smaller touch area. It seems like they’re compensating for some interaction problem, possibly in one-handed mode. It’s a mess now but a few iterations should sort it.

Same it's really fun to drag a group to the underground then building stairs to the 🍄, even when ur in solo its a challenge to fly and land on the table by yourself haah. Sometimes you met players that already been there and they'll honk and try to help you tag them so you can land on the table too! When you pick it up it gives a fun animation. I'm missing them already! Gotta play with em in live while you still can

If you delete the app in TestFlight you are out. I don’t know how it works for Android.
It is worth noting that your account isn’t deleted, even if you lose access, unless TGC does an actual account wipe. Previously, they have only done access wipes to open up for active players to replace the ones that didn’t play anymore. But they still need and keep the data of the old ones.

The other thing I'm seeing is that in beta (latest update), the friend constellation buttons have all shrunk, regardless of the orientation of the phone. Apart from the size of the buttons, on all but the crown page, the buttons are all much lower down and (for me at least) some of them overlay the page-right button. generally speaking, game devs don't want players out of bounds. it's not intentional for you to see the man behind the curtain (aka the wizard of oz) it tends to ruin the magic of the setting we're trying to establish. TGC has a very small, special subsect of the larger community that is incredibly fond of going out of bounds and we want to preserve those places, but not entirely at the expense of our design plans. Which is why we patch up holes to places we don't want people to be, but want to preserve the more special ones like rainbow bridge and the valley temple area. That doesn't mean we're going to give free reign to all out of bounds areas, or not put floors/ceilings/windwalls to contain some of the chaos behind the scenes.

Also, random piece of feedback: the Gratitude Vault spirit, now that I think back on it, was a really nice challenge, and a great use of the carry spirit quest mechanic, and I’d like to see more like that

I believe the original nodes and blobs were deleted. So we've had to do some reconstructive surgery so to speak for spirits whose platforms were nuked after the season concluded.

it's definitely one of those things i found amusing about Rhythm, was some complaints about how simplistic that season was and it's like... y'all that was the very first season from 2018, of course it was more simplistic. Granted, those who had that critique didn't know it was a rerun. I think if Gratitude in its original form ran again, it would be talked down as well...aside from the cosmetics themselves. Instead it's highly coveted because the game wasn't widely known then.
