It would be nice with some clarification on that.

#

With previous seasons when we had one spirit per week, they all stayed for the rest of the season, so late-comers could still get them.

#

But if these coloured lights only show up for a week each it will make it difficult to skip days or start the season late.

Or just in general, whether we are expected to visit 2-3 realms each day for quests.

The thing is how yo manage those extra portals everytime a new area is added. Maybe a portal at the beginning of each level? In their respective hub maybe? That would prevent the home space from becoming a portal parking lot.

Unless the quest giver at home can save you the trouble by giving you the clue to where the light is? Or the other alternative is to be candle running all realms anyway so you’ll encounter the light on your travels anyway. But some of us just want to get the job done efficiently and quickly.

Yeah, it was frustrating. I almost didn´t do it, but the story aspect and layout changes are intriguing. I just wish there was a faster travel time to the Ark. Maybe a pop up menu that says "take a boat to the Ark?" after collecting the correct light for that day / week

The other thing that concerns me is if you’re in a group, because it seems impossible for more than one player to meditate on the boat at once. Does that split you up or somehow hold you together at the other end of the trip despite the individual journeys?

You can prepare, (you’re iOS?), by going to the App Store and downloading “testflight” which is the app the beta will download from. That’ll prepare you to click the link when it’s ready and get in fast. 🙂

Lots of backreading to do still but I'll at least toss these upcoming changes out:
Increased the size of the meditation circle so more than one person can meditate on the boat at a time.
Cutscene to Forgotten Ark will be skippable.
The translation feature is definitely not working correctly and will likely live on beta-only until we get it in a good place.
The traveling spirits and their seasonal constellations in Orbit is Definitely A Bug the Designer was testing some things with their constellations and wasn't meant to go into the beta build.

Resurrecting Rhythm was actually a bigger undertaking than initially anticipated, a lot in the game had changed from its initial run so we had make a lot of adjustments, in addition to a lot polish to the cosmetics to bring them up to current standards.

The light quests are accelerated for beta, I'm not sure what the staggered schedule for live is just yet. The Spirits will all be available at launch though.
