Why is the new season starting so quickly?

Oddly I don’t mind so much the active part of the game, getting through the tough areas, but watching the long ending over and over and over again just wears me down.

I’m a little peeved that they worked on “fixing” the glitches that brought us joy. But piggy back still breaks when you cross any area and now it has a new glitch. When you jump on someone’s back, at first you sit in the air facing them and across from them before you slide over to their back. It totally ruins the effect.

Wasteland ||In the area with four krills, to the right where you should see the crab BBQ, will need someone to come with you ||
Vault || on the right side as soon you spawn into the building, also need someone to come with you to light the diamonds ||

You get to one of the green mountain towers, the one near the end. There is a platform that leads to the interior where you can call butterflies. Stay on the platform . There are light mushrooms growing on the right. The hidden candle is somewhere between the first and the second one. Just fly in thatl area and you’ll see the light floating towards you.

there were a couple fixes for the umbrella in this patch, it shouldn't close when you jump around or switch flight modes anymore. There will be a mid-season patch where we'll implement the bonfire later on.

I went to see the vault seasonal spirit. I didn't crash there but there was a constellation barrier at the entrance, and you have to have at least 1 normal vault spirit released to enter. You can also pass the barrier with a help of another who can pass the barrier.
To people having the vault crash and never been there before: I recommend you to wait for a fix and explore the normal vault first, but if you really want the vault seasonal spirit now, you can release him with a help.

If you're getting the Item Not Found message, make sure the Google Play app itself is up to date. if it is up to date, try clearing the Google Play cache and restarting your phone by turning it completely off and back on.

If you have multiple Google accounts try toggling between them and make sure you're viewing from the Google Play account that was accepted into the Beta.

If none of the above works, type "google play item not found" into whatever search engine you use and try the troubleshooting steps suggested by numerous sources. If you find something that works, it would be awesome if you could report back to the folks here. It's a known issue for many games in the Play store, not just Sky.

Sky and sky beta are completely different apps, so you shouldn't experience any weird bugs caused by having both of them at the same time

The beta and live apps are totally separate for iOS, and will be for android as well.
In beta, everything is free, and things periodically get reset depending on TGC’s testing needs. Also, not everything from beta ends up being implemented in live. So for various reasons, the progress from beta doesn’t carry over into live.

Izaak managed to teleport to me! They had another crash issue the first time they were there, but then they teleported again and I waited to see them go up to the next level. I didn’t hear from them again, so I think they managed to finish vault! (I hope!)

In my opinion it's somehow connected to the visuals in the Vault, because in the beggining hall (exactly where the cutscene starts) as long as I looked down nothing bad happened (until the cutscene) however as soon as I looked further in the hall the crash happened, so I too think it's somehow connected to the cutscene or to something in it

The more I think about it, the sillier it seems to have the spirits come weekly

In beta, the new areas make more sense with the spirits. And it’s fun to follow the spirits while looking for candles

I think the delay will make it easier to find groups for the more complicated areas/emotes. I enjoy exploring the new areas without the spirits, actually, because even though it’s fun to follow the spirits, it’s easy to miss things when running along after them. I’m feeling a little impatient about getting some of my favorite seasonal stuff in live, but there are other fun things to do while I’m waiting for them to come out- I was impatient about getting some of the non-seasonal cosmetics, too. I think wanting things right now is just part of any game that involves collectibles, and it’s not necessarily a bad thing if a game makes you wait a little or work for it. I’m personally withholding judgement on whether or not I prefer the staggered release.

I think they’re trying something different with this season, and it’s important for the community to give constructive feedback so that tgc knows how to proceed in the future.

Hi everyone I’m so depressed. I couldn’t find a spirit of belongings in isle of Dawn. I searched the cave on the right side of the castle a thousand times. The spirit is just not there.

Excuse my ignorance but I just downloaded the game and play. No idea what’s going on and what’s the difference between Live & beta version.

@meager flame It’s ok! if you downloaded it from the Apple App Store, then it’s the live version.
The beta version has way fewer members, and it’s where we test things out before they’re released into the “real” game for everyone to play. For example, we started testing the Season of Belonging before it started in the live game. Most of the YouTube videos are of people finding spirits in beta, since all the spirits are already available there.
In the regular live game, the seasonal spirits are being released one at a time, one per week. So right now, the only seasonal spirit available in live is the one in Prairie.

Right before the original change, people were lagging my game by shooting them off constantly in the maze. They’re only helpful in there if they don’t crash your game.

I noticed that in this release they are allowing for 5 charges of the fireworks wand before a cool down. I wanted to test it out but then remember that I don’t have the wand in beta. Has anyone tried it out after the latest patch? I generally fire off 3 in a row, so I was pretty sad about only being about to release one before a 7 second cool down. I’m thinking 5 is plenty but was wondering if it was working out in beta.

I actually liked the new look on the vault, because they introduced the new sets of symbols to us.
So in a different way I was also disappointed to know that was just a way to fix the issues. They probably have no meanings at all…just a fancy cover up….

However, I think that vault crash glitch on Android was far more serious than people being separated from friends often. They have to put priority on such crucial glitches.

My friends and i have been playing this game since it was officially launched, and we’ve done it cuz we loved it. We’ve been financially supporting this game, as many other user do as well, so this company can grow and and be able to develop new areas and items for this game. This can look like nothing to those f2p, because they are getting free stuff, but what the are not seeing is thst they are losing the base players who were willing to use their money in the game.

The ones that work less well are the ones that lead nowhere (of course this could be corrected in future additions). I mean, you need to have the desire to go to them (or being forced to go because of a spirit / quest/ something).

For me the more rewarding are the ones that let me practice my flying skills while enjoying beautiful scenery. And regarding the Valley maze and the Vault library, I prefer the maze. It has a of potential to it if they decide to make it bigger /add chambers/ mysteries. Library not so much. I don´t quite understand that area, having all the rooms in enclosed sections. It is long, almost the same all the time, and the corridors are not particularly interesting. Maybe there´s some backstory to it I don´t quite get yet. We´ll see.

@gaunt oak there is no need to repeat your opinion. This channel has slowmode so feedback isn't lost for a reason.

That being said, we made that particular change because it was contributing to the high volume of stability and crashing issues related to vault players were experiencing. I know it's a disappointing change, but sometimes we have to make unpopular compromises so people can have a better experience overall.
