if youre alone, have the menu open and then hit the sit button. as your character is doing the sitting action, place the table

it can be really tricky and may need some practice but you can solo table glitch that way!

The unresponsive 2-person door quest was actually an elaborate scheme to encourage player bonding when people teamed up in pairs going from door to door in an attempt to find one that would make their quest complete. I am missing that candle, but will forever carry in my heart, or at least my friendship constellation, PrairieDoorKid who traipsed with me through thick and thin all the way to the barren lands of the Valley skating rink. We never found that candle, but we did find friendship.

You don’t have to chat in-game to be friendly. I’m a non-chatter and it’s quite fun relying on emotes and actions. Well ... of course Discord helps. What works well for an introvert like me is having a core of wonderful friends, so that quests like this are easy.

Tbh whatever the light gift from friends, it’s small, incremental, and doesn’t factor into my arithmetic (keeping my books balanced daily requires an accounting degree I swear 😂). If and when they total up to a full “something” then it’s a bonus. Happy days. So a little from column a, little from column b, would be absolutely fab in my opinion. Candles you can earn daily, hearts you have to work for. So I do love it’s hearts.

All seasonal capes are free at least right now in beta, hopefully in live too!! (though you still have to spend seasonal candles to get up to the capes )

What’s the spirit in the sky outside of the front of the office building supposed to be for? I chased and seemingly got all of that spirit’s steps, but nothing happened, there was just no more in the sky...? Also I was wondering what the spirit inside the office is for, too o-O

Why is there a delay when gathering light from seasonal candles? Like, it takes a few seconds for it to realize I have enough for a full candle.

You could also phrase it as a discussion topic instead of just a plain complaint if you wrote something more like;

"I noticed that I can fly with my umbrella, but not hop! That must be an overslight. Does anyone else find this strange?"

It could also be just how the developers have decided to handle emoting while flying as a lack of a better option, and found it strange to be able to hold things while jumping around. Just like with candles, your sky kid will drop the candle when running too fast or jumping

I asked if the 8 player puzzle was bugged bc it wasn’t working even when all 8 people were lighting and was told I shouldn’t report that in the bugs section.

Honestly I'm not here to argue with you about whether or not you should listen to other people say to you what is or isn't a bug. If you think it's a bug report it.

If someone gives you flack they should be tagged with tgc staff or imo; shut up because it could be a bug.

• You're at the 8 player puzzle.
• You have 8 players.
• The puzzle has activated so you can light the parts.
• Everyone lights up their thing.
• It doesn't complete the puzzle.

For the player that's a bug.
For the developer that might be server lag.

In any case that's a thing you can report

I gift hearts and light a lot. My slider never moved. Yesterday’s challenge, and the random friends finding me to hold my hand and get dragged around by me sent that thing right up near the full.

my friends don't need to know I am a helpful person, because they should hopefully already know that

The standard global version is Sky: Children of Light.

@wanton compass If you have a notification badge on the app, but nothing waiting for you once you open the game, it could be a notifications of star gifts from people that you’ve blocked. You can try unblocking them in the home constellation view and see if their stars reappear and are lit.

That’s probably what’s wrong then. How do you unblock people? One of the people I blocked found me and I couldn’t interact with them at all. I have a horrible habit of blocking people and to know that I could unblock them would be a huge relief; to not have to worry about seeing them around with the mean little red icon above their heads.
