Okay so I know this new patch should be in the Live channels but I'm fearful about some bug that may have slipped into Live that I've reported across a few beta updates and I'm worried it might affect controller players drastically.

The bug was that the jump button now makes you fly instead and you cannot jump whatsoever, as well as the button used for interactions to interact with something now instead pulls out or puts away your inner candle. I'm praying that this is not an issue when it comes to Live.

That’s 90 candles, meaning almost 5 full days of CR for a Nest expansion. With the current economy and the amount of candles needed to buy past event and seasonal items, I feel a symbolic price would never hurt for a nest expansion.

30 hearts is a lot for a lot of players, it would mean you need to exchange hearts in-game and rely on others mostly to grant you these hearts. Feels a little bit contradictory when it’s about YOUR nest :’)

i checked and it was def way smaller bc of the bald hairstyle
but the new bow is a little bit smaller than the confetti one with longer hairstyles too(makes it bigger), sits at a different angle, the sides are different sizes, the tie-band on the confetti one is smaller and they have different "textures"

so maybe if they want it to be priced for hearts, maybe do a smaller amount like 10 hearts for first expansion, 20, 30, etc. So it'll still be for hearts but the price isn't scaring players away who might want to expand their nests but don't have a stable heart obtaining method.

It'll still be a long term goal, since the price will climb up as you expand more, but it will still be fair for players this is just my two cents for this topic and idk if this makes any sense

My opinion, not absolutely hating but just how I see due to my 5y playing is:

since 2019, we had every time a new season with a new story, area and new characters. They were all alive and talking stories. After 2022, and much more with aviary, I started noticing a pattern of recycle object and dynamics forced in a “new” season.
For example “Catch the light” from lightseeker will be “catch that thing there, catch the plants, catch catch that there…”.
Then arrived Shattering. No spirits at all and since then they started put less effort on spirits, often forgotten and became stands in the end. No more real stories to play. Different theme, but same dynamics everytime. Then started to put nesting stuff everywhere due to nesting, and we got forced to play/pay passes just for tables or a pencil on the ear. Events become more interesting then seasons, at least they had a story and spirits active narrating it.
Now… we use old spirits why? Maybe they can’t afford the time and difficulty bugs to insert new codes for new spirits so they just fix the existing one with different css cosmetics? Seems like so, since they still make them all still hanging there with no emotions.
Sky was a lot emotional and maybe less full of cosmetics time ago. True: cosmetics where just a fix of another one of the same season, but spirits was full of personality, they were alive and fun to play. It was not only collect cosmetics. Basically this and sorry if might seems hate speech, it’s not and I already gives a lot of feedback through years 🤍

edit: not mentioning the “new area” is a recycle of shattering and a recycle of recycled mooning

I think because they have 5 years worth of existing mechanics, dynamics, spirits, stories, and areas that they can expand upon and I think that's pretty cool! Personally I like that they're revisiting things and building upon them, it makes the world of sky feel more connected and well rounded, but I can definitely understand that it might feel less exciting for someone who has been around for all those years and experienced all those things first hand
