i keep ending up doing them by myself, so i always win, but i always only get a silver medal, and one time today there was a little cutscene where I guess teams got rated on the big board somehow; however that never happened again and there's no score thing there anymore

Very empty, I don’t understand the teams aspect or the points well. I think I saw the points change once when I finished a race versus not finishing. It seems like a small event (only 2 challenges per day) and empty for the large area (most races solo or with one other player, empty large event area). I expected with a large colosseum seating around the center it would be like spectating something but the challenges seem very removed from the seating/stage area. Maybe at the beginning of the event there could be a cutscene or fun activity that also shows the score board status and stating what team you are on and explaining the event of the day. I don’t feel like I’m part of a team right now… as I don’t see other players much or understand why I’m on a certain team suddenly my cape changed color.

But the games themselves are fun. I enjoy visiting different areas of sky and practicing flying/racing and it’s a fun to have an Olympics type event.

Also there is a bug where the event tickets are appearing in a different place on the podium circle each time and it takes a moment to find it.
The torch can also be used and recharge you during void gather.

It would be good to have a playtest for the tournament so we can see what it's like with more than two people in a game (the max I've ever witnessed was I think 3 but that was at the start of testing before the scoring stuff was updated)

It would also be good to see how the games might feel in live since I imagine it'll be a lot busier than it has been in beta without a specific organised play through

I'd really just like an explanation on how scoring is supposed to work, how team assigning is figured out and if we're that team for the whole event, and how many tickets we're meant to get per day because that hasn't been clear due to bugs

unless you haven’t experienced the thing again for the first time, you gotta do that
they have it set that way for the tech to work more effectively so even if it’s toggled, you have to relive every cutscene again in full before the skip will function

so it’s effectively been reset for all players for it to work

Also, a lowkey PSA: It is very flattering that people assume all staff know every cool OOB trick in the book. It will either be reassuring or disappointing to know that that is not the case We do not have people scanning every nook and cranny of the Sky world with the sole focus of "fixing" the OOBs that everyone loves.

Glitches like chibi fall and piggyback rocket and all of that are, strictly speaking, bugs. All glitches exist because other semi-related (or even unrelated) updates and features and fixes interact in some unexpected way to create them.

This means that in routine work to fix some unrelated issue or update something that really needs updated, that glitch-producing interaction changes in a way that affects how the glitch works. 99.9% of the time, if a glitch is patched, that's the reason why.

tldr: Please don't assume TGC purposely targeted your favorite glitch just because it got patched

I noticed this zoom quite a long time ago, even without a chibi mask there is an excessive zoom (near the cave in the butterfly field). In chibi it's really too close.

It's not just chibi, it's generally a small height problem. My observations:
Entering prairie through the portal activates it, it stays this way until you see a cutscene in the villages or enter another realm. I had it activate when I tp to a friend in bird nest too. Entering sanctuary through windpaths doesn't activate it though

I’m considering stopping beta testing, due to burnout ne I believe continuing to beta test is probably just going to contribute more to burnout and it seems I don’t really report much bugs due to my minimal time in beta anyway. My iPad which I use to run beta is also really old and slow which has made me finally make this decision.

However I wanted to know, if I stop playing beta now and download beta again in the future when an invite wave finally comes around again, since my account is linked if I log in would I still have all my progression etc? Would that depend if I switch from iOS to android, or would my progression be erased if I am away long enough?

Hello! As long as your account is linked, you should be able to enter beta again with a future invite wave.

It does not matter if you switch from iOS to android, but I really, really, really recommend linking your account to gmail, steam, or any other non-iOS binding method before you do. If you switch to android, you won’t be able to log in with iCloud

But if you’ve bound your account to gmail for example, you’ll have no problems logging in when you join beta again on android

Might actually be worth investing a few minutes into that whenever you find a moment - because the reliving part and the experience around that is something we test too

I have also not relived every spirit in beta but it does help me give better feedback and notice bugs because I have to go through the same process!
