honestly the bonus of being chibi is the glitches we get, the game isn't nice to us any other time - we can't reach things, we can't light dark plants if there's even a puddle of water nearby, we slip off the plants more than taller kids, wind is not our friend

I can see why there's now the no placement radius, I'm sure people may have been feedbacking how annoying it is to be unintentionally oobed because of the furnitures so I understand that. I would've gotten annoyed by it if I'm not tall. There's still many other methods of oobing aside from using props directly on your skykid so it's not completely removed. It's within the context of nesting yes

I'd say calling it "skill issue" for getting accidentally oobed while placing things is a bit ehhhhhhh imo

I guess making the radius a bit smaller would be nice anyway

There's definitely still ways of oobing, but the collision for brazier as a chibi was such a fun and nifty trick it's just a shame that's been patched with the overall fix cause it's less of a problem accidentally oobing with a brazier than say a bed since you have to place a brazier more purposefully to oob whereas the bigger furniture is a lot easier to just slam you into the ground unintentionally

In Eden you can just fly right from the second gate towards the clouds on the left, then go up and turn right. Helps if you’re with a friend, if not then just recharge from the clouds on the left

I only ever experienced getting oobed unnecessarily from looking at other shared spaces in the shop, not from designing my own, I don't tend to place props right beside my skid though (unless it's to yeet under the ground)

I really like how aviary is now but I also agree that there's still a lot of features missing. Back in beta aviary there was swings we could chat on, the giant dark and mysterious plant, the lake, and so on! I'm truly hoping that they add these later since it added more personality. Mayhaps bring it back as a season of community? I also hope they add trees!

If you haven't unlocked a spirit in a DQ yet, and it's in the lineup for the day's quests, BUT the quest it's giving you is NOT a "relive this memory" quest, does the game still make you relive their memory to unlock the spirit for the first time? Or can you do their non-relive DQ without unlocking them for the first time?

I went and relived their memory, and once the little orange light spirit floated away into the sky, the daily task (collect green light) popped up on my screen. I didn't need to go back to the cafe to retrieve the quest, but I couldn't do the quest until I relived the spirit

You know what the race could do with? Some of that floating firefly magic stuff vault has when you activate an elevator, not a lot of it but just a sprinkle along the edges so if you yeet off you can get back on nicely

We knew from the beginning of testing that Cinnamoroll items would not be available permanently in testing and it's likely due to copyright that spells were removed.

We still have the event soon in live Sky to enjoy, but it's best to focus on the events that we're currently testing 🎂

For anyone in the channel who's tried the rainbow racetrack and found the controls difficult or finicky, could you elaborate on what, specifically, was finicky?

Did you find that your turns were too sharp, or too slow? Was movement too responsive or not responsive enough? Did you have a hard time seeing the edge of the track? Something else?

after a couple practice runs, it's mostly the first left turn going up then down, because you can't see the track bend fron the angle and just slide right off

movement response is okay, it's more just having to constantly adjust the camera as you go that's a thing as well

i usually fall off by skidding off to the right side on that first turn for some reason, and also at the beginning all the overlapping translucent rainbows make it really hard to judge where you are I think

As with ALL races the camera was the biggest problem for me. Opposite of the usual kidnapping and harsh panning, which is often really bad, this one don’t move at all and us one handers might find it a bit too much to do to pan and stay on the track. The translucency of the rainbow didn’t help either. Just looked like all track at certain points so I didn’t know where to turn

For me, it felt movement wasn't responsive enough, especially when you go too fast. I wouldn't be able to turn hard enough to make it.

It's similar to Mario kart where you'd need to slow down to make sharper turns, but the problem is we don't have a great way to properly slow down, then get back up to speed around sharper turns like that

• The edge is very abrupt so there's really no way to stop yourself once you're going
• Sharp turns
• Camera angling whilst zooming is difficult

• No easy way to climb back on, if you get too low you're flapping back up which almost feels like cheating, you also end up gliding a bit, and if you go under the race track accidentally you bonk your head

Personally I prefer if the specific quest UI to stay on screen when the time based quest is counting the seconds, so we can look at how long it is left

Yeah I would rather it stays on the screen whilst we're standing there, I think it's maybe catered for the quests where we flip a crab or something and it shows up but for quests where we stand and stare it needs to just appear permanently until we finish

Because I'm thinking that if you count the tickets in terms of candle exchange, for example the disco light thingy was 46 tickets right? So 46x6=276

So it being 144 candles is honestly much cheaper than that

Since we have aviary now and it's Sky's 5 anniversary, Can the old spirits start staying a perma TS so they're taken out of the rotation pool. As it stands, the current pool literally takes 4 years to go through every spirit, and that's without a single repeat

I didn’t have the dismiss spirit and the quest today is to relive that spirit. It said a clue would be on the map but there was only a ! at treasure reef. Then I relived the spirit to unlock the quest and it unlocked but didn’t count the relive quest as complete.

There's much less iaps than igc in the recent events like this year's Days of Love only had one current year cape iap and so is the bloom having one current year bloom umbrella iap

Just the collab events have the tendency to have more iaps due to IP licensing

I suggest you to observe the patterns as a whole instead of just looking the latest events (it being cinnamoroll, which is a collab so understandable its shocking to see the amounts of iaps)

I stopped playing events because it honestly just.. didnt feel like it was better. atleast with candle stacking before hand I could not worry about grinding everyday. When I look at event currencies it feels even more of an incentive that i HAVE to get on EVERYDAY to make sure i don't miss a currency to get an item. its my issue with seasonal candles with grinding all over again

i think the idea was good, but it just ends up feeling even more grindy in execution atleast for me. I do like how it helps ts feel less expensive and gives less stress about them when they fall on events!

Granted I haven't played to get cosmetics in a hot minute, so i dont know how its changed since like.... moments?

What we really need is more candles per day.
If tickets are worth two candles, then 5 tickets would be an additional 10 candles. Event currency meant you could save your candles for other things. If past ticket items are going to cost candles then it's not going to help at all

EC are only a temporary solution to the problem after all, the total candle price per event is just gonna continue to grow every year :')

also yeah I know they're subject to change but unless they're gonna be super cheap, then any candle price just adds to the problem of events being not affordable

Hypothetically, if the last year's items were to remain in the event currency form, the total event currency would increase as well, making it more EC grindy, like it would take more days to collect tickets than what it was before and it would make events unreasonably longer (imagine a month long event geez)

So turning it into candles is a good balancing solution right now but I also would prefer for it to be lowered a bit ^^

I can see why how difficult it is to strike a balance, because the perception of pricing varies a lot from people to people. I'm hoping tgc would strike a sweet spot for that
