Okay, I'm here to explain what happened to my acc today. I bought a message boat, planted it and without waiting for it to be placed opened another message boat. This resulted in an instant freeze, and now whenever I try to log in, my beta keeps freezing.
So in conclusion don't mess with boats, everyone

Something i always kinda wanted beta to try and separate (especially now with the separation of certain items) is the witch hat…i do remember there being a spell for it, but i think it would be very cool to be dress up as a witch in different hair styles anytime without it being solely confined to the hair..i feel this can apply to other hairstyles too, but the witch mask is most notable to me right now considering theres a spell already for the witch hat being separated..i should maybe slide that into the feedback channel LOL

yeah they moved things around so some is in different places now and you can't wear same combos as before (which I preferred the way it was before this most recent closet change) that's why I preposed the reorganization like that so it gives more options if it's possible to do it that way. And yes they took the glowing eyes!!!

It’s not a rule but it’s strongly advised not to hoard candles or hearts because we can lose them at any moment.

Sky feels heavily based on the former concept, leaning into the latter just feels like it'd be harmful to what sky is meant to be. Sky is about socialising on a personal level, this certainly isn't it

I think the way it might work is like this (this is my speculation I've never interacted with the boats so idk):

• you can follow that person just like you were to see a friend message in the wild
• so when you see a boat by the same person again, you will know without having friended them because the nickname appears

because the way current shared messages work is you know your friends made it if their names show up, so I think this is how it would work similarly for the 'content creator' you follow

Maybe they want encourage more people to create stuff, and the easy way access is the game itself, otherwise we'll... You need to actually look for the content creator to any social media with a high chances of more common creators be on top rather than any new creator.

I've seriously done Elevated Clearing and Sanctuary Islands red shards before alone, it was definitely... an experience. I have nearly shattered my Elder Mask quite a few times there but at least the Elder Mask itself offers a hidden buff besides just shielding you from attacks. I don't see anybody pointing it out that any attack from a Dark Dragon or Crab that would cause your Elder Mask to shatter would not cause you to recoil or fall on your back.

Depending on where you're at, you can use the environment to recharge too. Places like Hermit Valley and Jellyfish Cove have clouds you can recharge on.

Sorry for the late ping, but I think you’re probably talking about the STAR spells we tested. Pins from thatskyshop have a special ability tied to them, and some of those are teleports— for example the Valley elders pin teleports you to the Valley cutscene temple area, and the forgotten ark pin teleports you to the forgotten ark.

These were available in Beta as spells for testing purposes, but if you want to use them in Live you need to purchase the respective pin. Unless they implement a new feature in the future

The application said I had gotten into the program but the beta app on the appstore is full and I can't use it.

If you are on ios and weren't really active then you might have been removed as beta tester! IOS only allows certain amount of testers so devs actively remove inactive players to accomodate for new testers. You'll need to wait for next invite wave sadly

Oof !! I can't use my Google account to play Sky, so I use my Nintendo account instead, but I did check and it said I was already a tester, I would assume Nintendo Log-In method isn't valid for beta? Afaik, only Facebook doesn't work beta, but if it says you're a tester you should be able to download it from playstore. Make sure you're logged in with same account in playstore too that you used to sign up as a tester, any other account will show "beta is full".

the beta is linked to the google email you used through the play store. It won't work with just a nintendo account login as we don't have a beta for the nintendo.

If you've more than one gmail in your mobile device, I'd probably suggest you to temporarily remove all other accounts from your device except the one you used for tester sign up, clear cache of Google Play, then open playstore and search"sky beta" . See if it works

Like normally, if I block people, they would see me go inactive, but I still exist on their constellation, Now I will be disappeared from their's till I unblock them.

Supposing I were to block people for example, 1 week of me-time, and they find out that I blocked them. Does this seems a bit too brutal just to have some alone time? Having just 1 hour of not disturbing spell wasn't enough for me unfortunately.
I prefer that blocking people should go sneaky like it already was

To be honest, I've always felt a bit uncomfortable knowing that if I block someone, they can still see my shared memories, boats etc. It feels very unnatural to me, because when you block someone on social media, they often won't even be able to find your page anymore let alone see and like your posts. I wonder if this changes too if people can no longer see you on their constellation when you block them.

That said as an introvert, I am definitely guilty of blocking people too for some me time (yes even with the dnd spell which is close to useless to me). I usually unblock friends when I log off though, quickly light them and instantly leave so they don't have a chance to join me 😂

That explains why I can't see a friend of mine. Their star disappeared completely. It came back for a while and I saw them online. After that it disappeared again. I guess they blocked me. So yes, if you unblock someone your star reappears. If you block someone, your star disappears.

I think the 'temporarily blocking someone to have some alone time' is pretty common among Sky players, and if the blocking system is changed I think it would benefit the other side of the medal too, because blocking will be taken more seriously.

The DND spells are just there to use, and even though it still feels a bit weird to me to use them, I don't think any friend would think weirdly of you needing some alone time. I guess we just gotta be a little more daring about that, if we don't want to straight up say it

I think having the option to turn joins off is a better way to be alone. Like that you don't need to block a friend and they won't be able to join you so you'll be able to spend time alone without feeling guilty. Too bad there's no such feature. The built in screen record in my phone (currently using redmi note 12). Some phones have its built in recording being triggered by holding power button and volume up at the same time, but won't work for all.

You should be able to search "screen record" in your settings. Or at least be on Display or Accessibility

Hey guys I have a question regarding the new feature in the closet where you can separate the sunglasses, elder shields (and many other accessories) from the actual masks
I mainly got an elder mask because I loved how the eyes on the mask looked, will that be permanently gone? Or with the blue days of nature sunglasses, I enjoyed how the mask behind it was also darker, I can't see both of these masks in the closet
So I wanted to ask if these two things will be entirely removed? Or will the mask from elder shields and sunglasses be separate? I have these in my live account as well and I fear Ill lose both (except the shield and the sunglasses which are now apart of the head accessories)

Unfortunately we don’t know . Nothing yet regarding the change of the elder masks has been mentioned in patch notes or known issues.

The most effective way to get your view noticed by the devs is by leaving feedback in #beta-feedback and / or reporting it as a bug.

It does seem like elder masks aren’t protecting from krills / rocks / crabs right now, but that seems like a bug.

about the beta memory challenges advise/ tip/ tutorial for new sky players, i just hoped there will be some kind of restriction on giving tips/ advices / tutorial in Eye of Eden till the gate (after hugging the Prince King.)

i know this is beta but as old player, i really want new players / moth to go to Eden and experience PNR as freshly as they could, alone or via friends, without any spoilers nor tricks.

it just i dunno for me, it seems memorable to flashbacks into experiencing Eden and PNR in its glory, the turmoil, the gruelling and be rewarded with beauty of Orbit without any spoilers or tips such as chibi fall, fly in eden, rocket with friends and so on.

Yeah, i also understood the confusion as new player would feel trying to stay alive for the first time in PNR not knowing what to do other than just giving lights to nearest statue. Some people (like me) saw the big crystal at the end and felt i need to reach there. I did saw a beta memory challenge video in front of the Eden realm's door and the advise / tip on doing Eden "manually" as new player is kinda spot on and helpful! Like how to dodge the rocks and giving lights to statues.

I agree partially, experiencing Eden spoiler free for the very first time is incredibly memorable and such a lovely emotional rollercoaster!<3 But then again Eden has been getting more difficult, I did an Eden run a while back and saw a poor lil Moth get absolutely pummeled to the point of almost giving up (they hadn't even reached PNR yet) and they were really overwhelmed and overstimulated which can in fact ruin one's first Eden run which is really sad ;v; (I ended up friending them and helped them get through it but they told me they would have quit otherwise ;u;) So I think certain tips are really valuable and can actually greatly enhance a first Eden run! :)

Back when many of us here finished the game for the first time it was a lot less challenging so tips weren't really needed but nowadays moths could take away bad memories if they accidentally end up in an unsafe spot and keep getting unlit/krilled/pummeled by rocks :'>

In some ways having friends silently disappear with no actual notice is easier to digest, I don't really welcome the "what did I do wrong" thoughts when people vanish from constellations when you get blocked, but also it's just a part of life and growing and ima just try not to let it tarnish my sky experience cause I think it allows us to not hold on to dead ends

oh yeah that's true, I don't tend to block to refresh my cons, normally I just light what I can see, do my run, come home and check cons again and light any that have refreshed in, but I know some people use the block method to cycle through friends so that's gonna be wild for those they block on the other end

they should really give us a better method to cycle through the void end of our cons cause after the favourites section everything just goes to hell

I personally don't mind the blocking removing people from cons don't have to worry abt people trying to light me that I have no interest in maintaining a relationship with (I hardly block unless I'm uncomfortable with ppl, really. It's rare for me to block otherwise)

Yeah I usually have people blocked who I've never interacted with and who don't light me after like idk months on end, most are just the random friends from the start of my sky journey, but I also tend to hoard so it took me like over a year before I started doing constellation clean outs and it didn't feel as harsh when the other person didn't know they were being blocked cause like I don't want them to think they've done something wrong, but also if someone blocks me like that it'd be good to know so I could remove them my end too so that solves that problem I guess. My main concern is just like how I overthink in general, but it's more of a personal issue that online folks aren't responsible for so if I ever get blocked and they yeet from my con I'll just deal with it

It's as close to unfriending as we get so far too so we'll see how it goes!

no changes to the chibi, just some other masks (glasses, base game metall headgear, elder masks) have been converted into accessories you can put on top of chibi

That is very much a subjective question - do you play with the instruments regularly? Is this a lot of money for you personally? Would you rather buy a whole game for the same price (sorry Sky, love you)? For me, I don't play with the instruments at all so it's kind of a no but I expect I'll buy it anyways 😭

Also, the violin will be available even after the event ends, so there's no rush in purchasing it right away. Don't feel like you need to make an immediate decision! 👍🏻

I can get the game to start to load I might be able to hit play on the opening screen if I can. I'm lucky today, it tells me I have connection errors and I have to try again. I haven't even been lucky enough to get to server error inside the game yet. I'm thinking maybe I need to reset my Wi-Fi because I haven't done it in a while but live is playing just fine.

the goal is to watch 4 unique performances. since they tend to repeat on 2 hour or so basis, the best way to ensure you get all the 5 tickets is to watch them in a row (2 tickets are given for the birthday song performance specifically)
you dont have to watch them all the way through, just "show up at :00 -> go do something else -> reappear 10 mins later -> repeat until full count"

I already have beta, but now here's what i'm curious about... what will the new playtest be for? the anniversary ended, rainbow has already been fully tested, so... that only leaves a very small number of possibilities. either it's for days of sunlight which we haven't tested at all yet but saw a tiny bit of in the cave at grandma's, it could be more testing for the concert to ensure the servers are working alright, or it could be something bigger...
