Personally I find it a good idea to remove the button for friends, especially as suggested by limiting it even further by only allowing that once you've progressed a bit in the friendship tree. This button does take away a bit from the surprise, but thats a price I'm willing to pay for this prop to not being turned into a bully item by trolls. But for friends, it'd be fun to not have that button I think

We came up with a list. I think the main idea to keep an element of surprise is to randomize the button with a pet/yeet, with lower chance of yeet. People want to squish the kitty and there's a few players who are triggered by the idea that the cat is abused with how skittish it is around humans.

Yes, I agree. The group formation is so specific for a lot of players. It's frustrating enough to regroup after a server split. This is intentional and would make the gaming environment really unpleasant for a lot of people.

Many people around me say they would have preferred to pay, and I myself am hesitant to get it for free because it's so cute and lovely that I'd rather pay for it myself. Cat hair was originally paid for but due to a glitch it was shown as free and reflected in the beta. However, in the next update, it was fixed and changed to paid. We sent feedback to the company saying why the change was made and that it was not right. As a result, the management made it free and lowered the price significantly considering our feelings caused by the glitch. But I, on the other hand, wanted to pay for it as a token of my appreciation for the great work done by Cats Hair, so I'm just asking.

It wasn’t a glitch it was IGC for the first build round. But there was some internal jumble which made that first round of patch notes go out without Sagomay being aware there was a change for the cat hair to be IAP. So when the next build came in less than 24hrs people were rather confused of the sudden change to put it mildly.

I would have said possibly they are a bit upset it’s probably because it was going to be cheaper as an iap pack based on the value of a candle pack, versus buying a candle pack to get enough to cover the hair. but thats not the case with 44 candles.

This doesn’t apply to the cat hair specifically but. Not everyone can candle runs daily/at all so something changing from a 19.99 iap to a 75+ candle item it’s actually just as bad for those who don’t have the time everyday to complete a 30-1hour cr daily

Its to be expected it’s impossible to please every demographic of player. Sky you either pay with time (CR) or money (IAP/Candle packs)

Thanks for correcting my mistake. I mean, it was originally free but changed to paid for due to a number of reasons. The change itself was not well communicated within the team, so it was released as it was, and later corrected, but the users did not understand why the change was made and it caused confusion, which led to the current situation.

I just wanted to pay to see if I could get it for free because of the quality of the cat hair and to express my gratitude for making this wonderful item.

The TS were added to Beta even when there is nothing to test because testers wanted them, so I think there's a good chance this is fixed But they're not the priority, and given we're testing some pretty big things at the moment I wouldn't expect a fix soon. Welllll seeing as how bugs and things that don’t get fixed in beta seem to end up in live I would have to say that this is a pretty big deal as if this were to end up going to live people there would totally hit the fan and freak out regardless of what was going on with the season. Beta has its own setup for Traveling Spirits, so a no-show here or a spirit being different from Live on a weekend arrival doesn't have any correlation with the Live version of the game.

But as other folks have said, TS's aren't a priority for testing, and we encourage people not to invest the same level of attachment to a beta account. We may reset account progress at any time due to testing needs, and in the meantime beta can have some pretty janky bugs that hose up even basic gameplay while we work on a fix, so it's better to put that extra energy into a Live account.

the tree works like any other ultimate reward tree; you need to buy each ultimate gift to get to the next. (ex: you need to buy the first ultimate reward, the hair, to get the next ultimate reward, the pants.) you can't skip items on a tree, you need to buy everything first to get to the next level. i don't think the butterfly cape at this point is available.

It doesn't show the exact winglight you are missing, but it shows the general location of it. Example, your winglight is in the underground of sunny forest. So it will show the wing is located there, but not which of the 4 it is specifically

I find the zoom on map shrines when flying into wasteland vortex and when teleporting to an area which has it (today arriving to prairie village), disturbing and unnecessary.

The same goes with the very old mechanic of butterflies forcing Skykid up in air while I'm trying to fly towards a direction. Even as everyday player it's confusing and makes me occasionally bonk, imagine how bad is it for moths. (I left feedback on them)
