in a way it's cool because you form a strong connection with someone you've never met, but the downside is it's really unlikely you'll get matched with a friend you want to play with

I just finished playing journey for the firet time and omg it's a beautiful game, the music, the maps, the mood. Everything was beautiful. Tough i am perplexed, i never searched much about the game since i didn't want spoilers but i had heard of three boss battles or something like that? Nothing happened in my playthrough so i was curious, maybe they're secret bosses and they require certain actions to appear?

Actually that's pretty abnormal. You're supposed to always start as red. In the hub area you can switch robes by touching the white carpet but I guess you've just transcended way beyond the red cape! XD

Abzu isn't generally considered a TGC game, since it wasn't published by them or anything, but i believe some of its main developers worked on TGC games, so it tends to feel like a TGC game 🌊

@tawny scroll there’s one more Easter egg in the level before the mountain. Raise the water to the meditation spot then go down to the 2nd/3rd lowest platform, you can find a creature from Flow swimming around! Those are the only Easter eggs in Journey.

@vale pumice lol, jk, but you basically go on a journey through ruins and discover remnants of the past each part has it’s own vibe, like in Sky, and eventually you learn about your own place in that world

I just popped on to comment on the irony of the game using cloth to represent nature, and rock/earth to represent technology

I usually recommend playing Journey on console because of how much the controller is utilised. Motion control for the camera, controller vibrations and even the light changes colour!

Journey is like the Beta of Sky. A lot of features in Sky started out in Journey:

• Call and Deep Call
• Capes <- Scarf
• Cape/Scarf Wedges
• Story Telling via murals summoned by calling
• Eden aka The Mountain
• Sliding Race

Imo, the music in Journey is also a lot stronger than Sky's. Both games have amazing OSTs, don't get me wrong. But Journey's main theme and use of that leitmotif was absolutely beautiful and the definition of breathless

There's a much higher chance of playing Journey with a companion on anniversary of the release. It's a bit of a tradition to replay on that day for the community on PS4, I'm not sure about other platforms.

Abzu isn’t a TGC game. It was helped by some of the TGC artists but it isn’t a TGC game.

the thing that runs through tgc games is the art direction rather than the gameplay, so its really up to the persons interpretation, personally i believe its half a tgc game-

i finished journey earlier!! i really liked the fact the character makes noise. but then again, i love games where it has stuff like that.

and yes journey has an end, and its an overall short game once you figure out stuff and get going. but along the way you discover the plot as well and thats what gets you to the end.

@loud lake please don’t tag the developers. Tgc does not have customer support for journey since they don’t own the rights and is not responsible for the pc port. Please contact the developers who ported the game (Annapurna interactive)

When you start up the game there should be an option to continue where you left off provided that you didn’t beat the game in one sitting
