I got a scarf from a friend who owned a Journey ask blog. Theirs was really well-done. I'll send a picture as an example.

Seems that the white parts were painted on with fabric paint and screen, then the red parts were thick red fabric cut out and glued to the yellow fabric which was the base piece. I'd see if I can contact them on tips, but no promises because it's been years since I last got in touch :(

Journey is actually a multiplayer as well (although you can choose to play it solo). The difference being that you can only play with a random person who's using the same platform as you are, and with only one player at a time. Journey is actually very different when you play it with another traveler vs when you play it solo and a lot of care was put specifically into designing the player interaction experience

You can see some of the flying animation in Sky originating from Journey when your traveler flaps their cloak. Hence why Sky feels so new and yet familiar.

Then there's also the amount of realms, the entities you meet along the way, collecting symbols to make your scarf stronger/longer, recharging others by being close to them or chirping, chirping itself and probably a bunch of stuff I forgot to mention. A lot of the core mechanics/gameplay were just taken from Journey and implemented into Sky

Don't know if it helps, but as far as I know they are all available for PC. I also think I heard something about a browser version for flow (and cloud?), which might run on an Android phone but isn't the full game. Not sure if I remember correctly though.

Just played Journey again recently after a week.
Found a companion early on who might be a new player as I could tell from the robes.
Guided my companion ||to safety in the spooky area thankfully and we got out of there unscathed||
Unfortunately, ||the last level near the end of the guard section my companion got hit twice and I felt bad May also gotten affected as part of collateral on the second hit as I was standing too close when it happened||
Still, I stuck with my companion till the end and we finished the game together

Since this is the other tgc games page this seems like the right place to ask, what is the game flow about?

Honestly, it came across as a mostly experimental game, working with control and game mechanics and getting familiar with the PS3 system. It was a fun game, but asking what flow is about is kind of like asking what a single player .io game is about... XD

But yeah, after Flow you could see what kind of a story TGC wanted to tell in Flower, which developed into being portrayed in an aftermath manner with an actual character with Journey, which truly got fleshed out, expanded, optimized, and beefed up, with Sky. Between the four games, it's really cool to see how TGC grew and tackled their challenges while fine tuning their goals.

There's a bug in journey where everything freezes except your scarf and the game Audio and then everything crashes, it happens typically after playing for 30 min and idk what to do :-; I just crashed while helping someone on the mountain 😭

Looking real pretty! I like the vibe already!! Since you asked, two tips I could squeeze in are 1) don't forget to give your focal point some sharp edges here and there to create some extra focus (as of now, all your edges are soft), and 2) I'd recommend making the background (the mountain and whatnot) brighter in value for some extra sense of space (something that's close to the viewer, like your foreground here, tends to have more contrast than things that are much further away, mainly because of atmosphere and such! bringing the mountain a bit closer in value to the sky will decrease that contrast = push those elements further in space)

Journey isn't like Sky where you got to collect candles and grind. And if you played Sky, Journey does feel similar but a little different. My only tip is, watch out. Something in there is deadlier than what is in Sky.

Treat Journey like you'd treat a brand new piece of cake that you've never eaten before. Look at it, savor it.

i am just here to share what a great experience it was to play Journey and i thought it was a pretty niche game so the developers may have went bankrupt cause the developers did not do any follow up on it. I was really sad for a long time back then. Today i saw the trailer for Sky ait was the same beautiful style so i checked the developers and saw that it was Thatgamecompany and i haven't been this happy in a long time to see them doing well

I just want you guys to know that it was the first game i played and you guys sure made it a memorable one. I am still connected with the guy I met back then while playing co-op. Thank you again.

to find the Easter egg you must fully compete the tower and do the cutscene, but before you run off into the final level you instead dive back down into the mist, there on the bottom opening of the big spire in the creature, go in and theres your Easter egg

1. should i resume my "progress" from the last time I played or I could just start a new game.. If I start a new game, does the robe "pattern" reset to what it looks like on the first time I played the game or am I good here..
2. there are many portals opened on the first area, the 2nd time I played the game. So I can just choose where to go? Bc the 2nd time I played, I went to the last snowy area immediately instead of the 2nd desert area and I was like "oh??"
3. im aware it's an open world type of game, but is there also something like wind wall the further we go? Or I could just go around until I get lost??

1. The robe pattern represents the amount of journeys you have finished and like every other progress in the game is tied to your save file. So no, it shouldn't reset unless you tamper with your save file one way or another.
2. Yes, you can choose where to go.
3. Yes, there are plenty of wind walls you will run into, some harder to notice than others. They're easier to notice in open levels like Broken Bridge or Pink Desert.
4. Correct, you are doomed once they spot you

whenever you collect one it keeps track, and when you collect them all (can be over the span of many playthroughs) it gives you a lil reward
||you can turn white and gold if you have all the symbols, go on the circle pedestal, you can tell if you have all the symbols by the squares glowing and the pedestal having white/red fabric coming out of it||
