pro tip sticking to the floating plants also temporarily suspends you in midair much like the floating darkness plants in the shard events
they're also solid so you can land on one and put a light prop down

It is definitely not easy to reach the top. Best take a buddy or something to recharge with. If not, grab it and go back to where the shard fell. You should be able to redo it I think?

nope! once you use the spell, your current prop is replaced with that one for 30 minutes - you can place it, walk away and place it again. It pretty much acts as a normal prop

Well that makes sense, but that's not my issue. The memory event is exclusive to the shard event. The shard event is exclusive to the daily quest realm. Therefore the memory with that winged light cannot be done/collected except every six days when the daily quest is in forest, and even then only when a shard event is active(this last thing isn't really an issue).

either that or it's tied to the realms which poses another problem in that realms may coincide with work days and thus be a huge pain

TGC has definitely gotten themselves into a minor pickle by time-gating WL, and thus to get out of it unscathed they have to develop a new system for accessing memories

That's in Hidden Forest. 4th gate. Hang right when you get to the first shelter. It's above a darkness flower cluster. Will need to have gotten all 8 Forest spirits to get access.
You can get wax at the table at certain times when "Grandma" appears, tho I'm unsure of those times.

I"m the same way. Like the reply from SciFiFrenchFry, you can hug the sapling spirit when you visit it. Unfortunately, I missed that opportunity when I visited.

If you're in that predicament, just visit Grandma's Table at dinner, and she will offer a hug after serving. Or if those times don't work, the season guides for Season of Flight and Season of Sanctuary offer hugs too that I know of.

That's a known issue that TGC will probably fix in a future update, for now I think you can view the first memory again if you tap on the exclamation point for it and then redo another red shard event. However it's not really the intended method of doing so, it may not always work

You can view the memory again by doing a shard event. After you’ve finished the event, the season guide will appear. They will ask if you’d like to be teleported. Say yes, and you arrive in the jellyfish room. This is the only way you can do this for right now.

I think today's shard location is bad. It's constantly raining on you and all places to recharge are far away. Even if you're on your last wing and rushing to a light source, you'll be drained before you get there and start loosing winged light >:|

Usually I always find the shards in the same place even after I did it and all. So seeing it in another place is new to me

I've spent almost all the hearts for the constellations besides the tier 2 capes, so heart gathering goes a lot easier now. i say as I look at all the tier 2 cape prices

I am also lucky enough to have a few friends who play consistently for heart trades. Makes candle grinding harder, but I mean... hearts...

I've almost got enough saved for the tier 2 purple and I'm so excited

Usually it's about 2.5 to 3.5 AC depending on shard intensity or location. Most shard events that are "on the path" are less intense/give less AC from what I've seen. Ones "off the path" or harder to get to reward more maybe?
