I'll draw similarities to a spirit based on little prince to mythology
The spirit seems to have mirrors all over, just like the mythology, Narsissus thought so highly of himself that didn't care about anyone else, not even potential romantic partners.
Just like the mythology, maybe the Spirit died after staring at their reflection till they, well, died. Difference being that the spirit didn't leave a flower behind, they left a dark plant behind (or the thing skykids burn to trigger the memory)

It would have been interesting if this season somehow made a new call, then it would have been more of a clear mythology parralel, since Narsissus was responsible of echo existing ((td;dr: woman was too talkative, got cursed to only repeat what she heard, hence "Echo", fell in love with Narsissus, got rejected and now she wanders forever, giving echo to empty places))

Eden for sure XD I found water trial more traumatizing than air and fire though for trials- Fire is super easy if you just have one friend holding your hand. I was a lonely boi when I first did trials and did them all on my own, which was terrible. XD
