How to get sent to ||the pity room|| from every realm, a not serious guide to commemorate the addition of a new location in which you can lose all your winged light after an excruciatingly long time:

(1) Isle: Impossible, go to Prairie (or any other realm). Isle can only make you want to die on the inside.
(2) Prairie: Go to Sanctuary and either stand in Sunbather's cave or chill in the polluted geyser. Sip a cool drink as you meet your demise.
(3) Forest: Get soaked by water from the sky, possibly also while swimming in water on the ground. Try to befriend the crabs around the brook or in the temple. Fail because they are mean and bitter.
(4) Valley: Hang out with the crabs in the temple maze and cry about the loss of bonk damage (and all your bruises from the crabs).
(5) Wasteland: Relax in the ooze. Or with the crabs. Or the krill. Or some combination. Why not all three at once? So many options.
(6) Vault: Head to the the Archives and find Phillip and friends (the crabs there). Ponder the meaning of life while being assaulted by crabs.
(7) Eden: ||Red rocks. Flying rocks. Krill. If you're ambitious, try to orchestrate the krill hitting you into some flying rocks.||

Always honk angrily at those who try to help you. Avoid open flames (and people). Embrace the darkness.

Bonking damage was introduced quite early on in the game, possibly just before or after iOS release. I don't remember now. But it was also removed when the Prophecy challenges came, for obvious reasons.

iirc the ultimate bonk is sliding at full speed in the sliding part into the tunnel then when you exit you'd bonk the right side of main sliding thing, that's the part that used to drain most cape energy for me
