It really depends on the traveling spirit, but my personal opinion is that it's good to start with around 150 candles (50 for every possible cosmetic). Some spirits are quite a bit cheaper than this, though, since they only have 2 cosmetics

I think the red dot is a bug. If you've completed all of the spirit trees and gotten the ultimate gifts, it thinks that you've completed the constellation but it's a bug because they changed it so that you need to do all of the quests from the quest giver to get 100% now

But the last two quests are unavailable
