You either get them through friends or from spirits

A season consists of items you can unlock for free (main tree of the seasonal spirit) and of items that need the requirement of an adventure pass to be unlockable (junctions of the seasonal spirit). If you pay for an adventure pass it allows you to unlock everything while the previously locked items will be obtainable for free, the others still need seasonal candles to be unlocked like before!

You can review the seasonal spirits you found so far at home in the seasonal constellation found in the centre of all regular constellations!

They probably got there by teleporting to someone else who was already there, and that person probably got there the same way. Initially someone has to hack to get inside, then others can tp to them and start a chain reaction of people tp'ing in. This is probably how your friend got in

Currently there is not a way to glitch inside, you can only get inside by benefitting from hacks

That's why it's not a good idea to try to tp to people already inside

If you're facing bugs for the new quest, follow these steps:

1. Go to the village
2. Go near quest giver. If cutscene shows the spirit then continue to step 3, otherwise return home and come back again
3. Take the boat go to the spirit and burn it
4. If memories aren't visible, turn mobile data off, wait for a few seconds till memories show up then turn on
5. Complete the quest. It has a timer so be fast. If failed, back to step 1
6. After finishing the race if you can't see "complete", turn off mobile data and turn on after 5 seconds

Try not to fly during the quest. Just steer and let the ice take you. That way you can make the time.

If you do complete it in time and nothing seems to happen while the blue symbol is fully lit, just hang around for a few minutes and you’ll be able to complete the quest. It just takes a bit for the game to catch up 🖤

I was pretty lucky. Initially when I lit up the quest spirit, there was a server merge and it broke. Still in the same server, I tried to get the winged light nearby (and failed miserably)

those are regular hearts, and you need 2 seasonal hearts

seasonal hearts are obtained by buying the entirety of a seasonal spirit's tree plus the seasonal heart at the top of the tree. in order to do that, you need the adventure pass

yup that happens when there is a server merge. It may be more stable to just fly over the spiky mountains on the left, or fly using the clouds on the right. Flying down the middle is difficult because of the wind

I was lucky and managed to do the quest, using the Flight mode trick, even though I am on iOS. I had to do it both at the start and then at the end, to get the quest to complete.

Good thing I had practiced a few times in beta, because that timer is fast!

Yeah, you have to be pretty much perfect the whole way through to make it in time. If you hit a bump or get stuck in any way you're pretty much guaranteed to not get it

For me, these methods didn't work very well- it helped me a lot more to just bring in a couple friends.
The issue is caused by/occurs on server merges, so limiting the chance of a merge (by disconnecting or by filling the server) can help you relive spirits right now if the above method isn't working for you.

It's kind of upsetting coming to these channels and seeing just negativity towards it the new season is super pretty and I love the cosmetics. Beta version isn't an exact copy of Live either, since there are things in beta that never even make it to Live. Plus, the player base is much smaller, sometimes just a few hundred.

I mean, it's reasonable for people to be upset, but the nasty comments won't get things fixed any sooner. I hope that the issues can be fixed soon too and am a bit disappointed that the launch of the season had so many bugs to begin with because it is one of my favorite seasons in terms of aesthetic and story and everything, but hopefully people can just calm down and realize you don't have to do everything right away anyway. Give it some time and go do candle runs or something while you wait, there are still like 9 weeks left of the season

Quest giver hearts are just friends hearts. An season hearts is what you get when you have completed a spirit with season candles. 3x season candles for 1 season heart after all is brought in that spirit

The race is meant to be slightly difficult, but right now it's compounded by all the bugs. It should be easier once TGC fixes it, but for now you can wait to complete it

Content releases are on schedules and if they had delayed it just as many people would be upset about that as people are upset about bugs now
additionally during beta testing lots of bugs were identified and fixed but most of the bugs in live right now weren't present in beta, so devs do not have a testing environment to find them in first as they appeared after launch

Part of it could be more players in live than in beta, which made the issues pop up more. But there have been past seasonal launches that didn't have this many issues, so it could be something else to do with other changes that were made in the code like pyre said. We're not the devs so we don't really know. I do hope it can be fixed soon though

yeah, and considering Sky runs in a custom-made engine TGC developed themselves, it can be more difficult to fix bugs. If you build a game in say Unity it's easy to patch bugs because Unity is very widely used. TGC's engine is used by them only so they are the only ones who are patching bugs for it
