I think it’s clever in a money-making way to make some seasonal things cost candles... because if you think about it, if people are willing to spend money on candles instead of CRing, then it would cost $50 to get enough candles for the table, instead of $15 dollars to get it straight up.

Or for the people who do spend candles, every 150 spent there is 150 not spent on constellations or TSs, which means they could be more likely to buy more to supplement.
