PSA possible workaround for the bug resetting you to the start of the Earth trial:
I was able to redo the problem section over and over and over without being sent to the very beginning of the trial by making sure the checkpoint shrine light was lit. Can't guarantee that it will work for everyone, but it's worked pretty well for me so far.

oh I don't know if this is 100% valid but I found that the checkpoint before the actual hard part in earth trial needs to be lit before you try again otherwise it'll send you back to the start

It's a difficult trial, yes. For that last part, try to not stress through it. You can make a short stop on most stones to make sure you are going in the right direction.

It happened so so so many times that I now already memorize the way.

Not exactly,but the checkpoints seem to be random sometimes. Would teleport me back to the entrance or 1 shrine behind the current one

Actually, on the last part, jumping non-stop gives you a high chance of doing it rapidly if you manage the camera angles well

I spent 3 hours stuck on the trial on my second run, 1.5 of which spent mostly on the last part, and the last 0.5 hour spent using an alternative route. The saddest thing is, at the end, I didn't even finish the trial, because the game teleported me back to the beginning
My friend made it though, so I'm happy for them.
