There are some visual bugs that cause hair to appear brown. Otherwise, lighting in the area could affect how it looks. But every hair is white

The Birds Nest is the area to the right of the Butterfly Fields (the first area of Prairie with the large spherical rock structure) behind a constellation gate (the area with the floating islands). You may need to wait a few minutes for the manta the light is on to drop the light and/or get into range so you can fly to the light

The krill from the first zone spotted them and started following, their leader lured the krill in that mountain area and got krilled, that's why we can't find his memories. Then the enchanters made a little camp and died of unknown reasons
